Dodge and Emily’s Perseverance
Well, she did it again. Ms. Porter has another winner on her hands with a story of love and perseverance that will bring you to your knees. Everything Dodge and Emily have went through made this book a huge page turner always rooting for this couple.
I think you should do yourself a favor and read the entire Knights Legion MC series because every book was a five-star read for me.

Just the first chapter……… 💔😭
Dodge and Emily got torn apart on Avenging Angel, and throughout the series (3 books) we see the pain Dodge has to endure for ‘betraying’ one of his MC brothers!!!
And if you want all the feels start with Savage Storm (book 1). SS and AA are a duet, so Savage Storm needs to be read before Avenging Angel.
Seriously, the first chapter had me sobbing….
I’m talking the ugly cry, the one that gives you a knot in your heart and feels likes your heart is being ripped apart!!!! 😭😭
And even with everything that happens to Justin I can’t seem to feel bad for him! Sorry not sorry!
And I should be use to the author’s ending by now but I’m not!!!!!

Yet again, Naomi has knocked it out the park with the next book in the KLMC series! I absolutely adored Dodge and Emilee and their little family. It was such a heartbreaking start but had such a lovely HEA!
I really enjoyed that this was much lower angst than the others, sometimes it’s nice to read a more light hearted read. This had quite sensitive topics but Naomi dealt with them and wrote them perfectly!
Dodge was such a sweetheart, his love for Emilee and his son just melted my heart! He was so lovely and treated them both so much love and respect! And Emilee was so tough and strong and just the best mother!
I love this series and can’t recommend it enough! It’s an MC series but definitely not as dark as others I’ve read which is nice!

At the end of Avenging Angel, it's revealed that Dodge and Emilee have secretly been seeing each other, and she's pregnant. It doesn't seem so bad, but in an MC, it's the worst thing that could happen. She's a club princess, and as a prospect, he's not good enough for her. As Emilee is being dragged from the clubhouse by her father, I knew I wouldn't be a happy reader until it was their time. In fact, I am pretty sure I was grumpy at Boxer that I unfairly judged his book.
I personally think I am a harsh critic, so when I say that this book was beyond perfect, I would like to think that's high praise. There's so much buildup leading to this story, that Naomi could have taken the easy way out of the emotional whirlwind, and no one would have ever known. However, Dodge's anguish can be felt off the page as he tries to remain hopeful that everything will work out. It's when he's had enough that your heart will bleed for him. Emilee's situation isn't as bad, but her loneliness cries out to you as she's trying to figure out motherhood on her own. When they're reunited, it's not the end to a perfect story, but just the beginning, as they have to readjust to being together. Things have changed over the year. It's awkward, but they never give up hope, and that's what I loved about it.
If nothing else sells you to read this book, then maybe this will: It says a lot when an author creates such a story that I wanted the main villain to get a happily ever after. He thought he was doing his best for his daughter, but in the end, he was lost and confused while making poor choices.

Alright, Ms. Porter, (insert slow clap here….) I see you. While I’ve definitely been invested in this series, the previous book made me a bit gun shy. I knew, however, that I would continue this series with this book, at least. And, boy, am I glad I did so. This book…this freaking book…she killed it with this book. It is SO f’ing AMAZING. All. The. Feels. Naomi Porter has the uncanny ability to hit all of the necessary requirements to create an amazing book. Well fleshed-out characters, emotional investment, intriguing storyline, and heart-pumping action. I’ve read so many authors who seem to lack at least one of those talents. Ms. Porter has somehow been able to seamlessly intertwine all of these elements.
I will caution readers: you should DEFINITELY read these books in order. Not only will this increase your enjoyment of reading each book, but it’ll make sure you’re aware of pertinent details. This author has created an entire world worth delving into. Do yourself a favor and delve in completely. 😉
Now that I’ve fan-girled out, we can move on.
Danny “Dodge” and Emilee are the main characters in this installment. We’ve seen their relationship in previous books and are aware of the details surrounding their situation. Basically, a “forbidden” relationship formed once Dodge came into the MC. Emilee is forbidden fruit due to her father’s rule that she won’t be with a biker and the members know she’s off-limits. In the beginning, Dodge attempts to stay away. However, once they get to know one another, a bond starts to form. They get together and Emilee ends up pregnant. Her father, Justin, is furious and decides to turn in his cut and leave the MC, taking Emilee with him. Dodge is obviously furious, but trusts that the MC has his best interests at heart and tries to wait patiently until the tides turn. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen.
While away, Em has her baby and is basically a prisoner in her own home. Her father makes bad decision after bad decision. A frightening occurrence happens prompting Emilee to flee. She and Dodge are reunited and attempt to regain lost time.
Without giving away any spoilers, things happen that throw the club into an upheaval. Throughout everything, Dodge and Em’s relationship grow so sweetly and I don’t know how you can’t root for them. I loved his devotion and her uncertainty turn into confidence. Dodge was THE BEST. AND, Emilee was sweet, but strong when necessary. I legit loved them. I can’t recommend reading this book enough. Please start with the series, though!

I’ve had an emotional attachment to Dodge (Danny) since the beginning of this series and had ridiculously high hopes for his book. I’m thrilled to say that Naomi not only nailed it but gave me so much more than even I knew I needed!
His love for Emilee and his son is so pure you can literally feel it when reading his chapters. I have seriously high expectations for book boyfriends and Dodge is firmly at the top of my list forever now. He’s sweet, caring, LOYAL, has a dirty mouth, and isn’t afraid to take charge when needed. With lines like this, “Come ride me, perfect Em.”, how can you resist him?!
I will admit I had my doubts on Emilee before starting this book. We didn’t know much about her before everything went down and I was questioning why she didn’t just tell Justin to F off and come back home. Let’s just say I was completely wrong in those doubts and I fell just as hard for her as Dodge did. They are a match made in heaven and watching her grow as a woman and mother was beautiful. Her protective instincts were dead on in this book and she has a scene at the clubhouse I’m still giving her a standing ovation for.
The flow of this story was perfect, the different POVs added depth and gave the reader more information without bogging anything down. This one wasn’t built around any couple angst (which is a nice breather after the last few books) but was still exciting and had some dramatic moments. There was a little curve ball at the end that got me I will admit, I thought I knew what to look for but Naomi was sneaky sneaky!
Outside of the main story/couple I loved the little cameos of Storm’s cousins and Uncles from the North Dakota chapter. They really stepped up and proved their family/club loyalty. Angel continues to prove why she’s the Queen and the only one tough enough to stand by and up to Storm when needed. She’s amazing. I’m really looking forward to watching Lynx fall next, he’s so cocky but I think there’s a real romantic under that facade.
And lastly, THE DOUBLE EPILOGUES WERE EVERYTHING!!

Book five of the Knight's Legion MC and I am so excited to say that we finally get Dodge/Danny and Emilee's story, or the rest of it I should say. In book one, with all the chaos going on, Em's dad learned of her and Dodge's relationship and the fact that she was pregnant. In a fit of rage, he threw a temper tantrum that amounted to him turning in his cut and taking his daughter far away from the club and away from Dodge. Since then, Dodge has been babysat by the club to ensure that he didn't go against orders to not go after them. What happens when Dodge finally snaps? When he finally has had enough and just wants his family back, will he go against orders and risk his place in the club?
YAY for Dodge and Em!! I have been waiting for this story since we watched Em get yanked away. This was a great addition to the series, filled with loads of drama, danger, violence, some spicy moments; everything you want in a great MC read. I give this 5 stars.

We finally get to read Danny’s (Dodge to everyone else) book.
And what a book. It’s not as angst filled as some of the authors previous books in this series (which I strongly recommend you read in order) but it will still have you reaching for tissues along the way.
Dodge has had enough! He’s done waiting for Emilee’s father to come round and let them be together! Hearing that his son (again the agony he has to go through not being there is so sad) is in danger and his biker family won’t help, Dodge is going to reunite with his family, and nothing will ever break them up again!!
Emilee and Dodge were spilt up in book three! And book four we get glimpses, so when i read the blurb and found out book five was their story I did do a little cheer.
Not as dark as some of the other MC series I’ve read, but still an emotional ride on the back of Dodge’s bike.
Emilee is a great character, a wonderful mother and will be a great old lady (if Dodge can save the day?!)
Justin (Emilee’s father) takes away Emilee from Dodge after a “code” is broke! I just think he wanted a better life for his daughter. But he went about it the wrong way! Trying to spilt the family up only causes more heartache and friction between Dodge and Justin. In fact it causes Danny to question the club’s loyalty to him! WOW Naomi Porter has really out down herself. I was tearing up in the first 5% of this book. I was instantly connected to this story and I thought the last book hit me in the feels. Nope. This book stole my heart. This story was beautiful. I'm just in love with the writing and the progression of the story. Each book sets up the next MC member flawlessly. I can't wait for Lynx's story.
Book 5 in the Knight's Legion series tells Dodge and Emilee's story. Dodge broke the rules. He touched another member's daughter. Emilee was forbidden. When Justin found out that Emilee was expecting Dodges baby, he turned in his cut and took Emilee from the only family she has ever known, and her soulmate Dodge.
Um hello you can't keep soulmates apart! Justin really had the nerve! I'm still salty about him being welcomed back so easily but I guess he has suffered enough.
The ending though, I LOVE this!! I cannot wait to see what unfolds in this MC world. Naomi Porter is a new author for me and I've loved every book in this series so far. If you're looking for books with heart, great drama and the most lovable characters you need to start this series.

I can honestly say that Naomi has become one of my absolute favorite artists! I have absolutely loved Knight’s Legion MC and all of the characters! I was rooting for Dodge and Emily from the beginning and their reunion and HEA did not disappoint! I have waited for Dodge’s story since he was a prospect and Naomi did not disappoint. It really helps that Naomi’s turnover is so quick so each month the next book in the series is out and you don’t develop the loss of the world you enter with KLMC. I cannot wait for the rest of this series and hopefully a next gen if the epilogue is anything to go by! You will not be disappointed if you start this series!

And BOOM the addictive MC series gets even more addictive!!
Oh how I have been waiting for Danny (aka Dodge) and Emilee's story ever since being introduced to their heartbreaking and frustrating story in previous books.
Dodge, a club prospect broke one of the club's golden rules. He hooked up with, fell in love, and knocked up a member's daughter. Yep you read that right!!
And the fallout? Dodge not only loses the love of his life, but also his baby son he is yet to meet.
God my heart ached for these two. Poor Dodge is not only aching for his little family but he feels utterly betrayed by his club brothers.
Enter the MC president's old lady Angel (Love Her). After a few choice words and home truths the club finally step up to help Dodge get his family back.
But....
With danger lurking will they be too late? Will they be able to keep Emilee and Little D safe?

It’s another slam dunk for Naomi Porter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Where do I start! I never want to tell you the story when I review because I don’t want to give anything away but….This book had all the feels. I went from reaching for the tissues at the beginning and just wanting to put my arms around Dodge for his heart ache. To pure joy and elation to anger, then back to joy. It really did drag you in. This series is so well written that you really are invested in these characters. You know their stories and you are routing for them.
And….Naomi treats us to not 1 but 2 epilogues, yes that’s right 2!! And they are both magical,and leave us as usual wanting more!! I really can’t wait to see what the KLMC world grows into but one sure thing is it’s going to be a wild ride!!

This author has the uncanny ability to write a book and makes sure that we feel the emotions that is written with in its pages. This review will most likely be short and sweet. I do not want to give anything away, but please know a tissue or two may be needed. You will cry, you will rage, and then finally your heart will burst with happiness!
My heart hurt for both Emilee and Dodge. The way they ripped apart and made to feel like what they wanted didn't matter. When these two finally get their HEA they have a few bumps in the road to overcome. We have seen both characters in previous books and we get to see just how much maturing and growing up the two have them have done.
Naomi Porter you have done an outstanding job with this series, and I for one can not wait to see what is to come.

I've said it before, but start this series. It's so freaking good, every book just gets better and better! I don't know how Naomi does it!
I have been begging for Dodge's story since the end of Storm and Maddy. I mean, how could I not with that ending?? I loved that Naomi didn't make us wait in pain for too long, she jumped right into this story! Dodge and Emily have such a Romeo-and-Juliet vibe it's adorable. Then throw that other thing in the mix. Whew, it was a whirlwind of a reunion.
And the sexy sexy time, UGH, beautiful!! Dodge and Emily have the best love story out of all the men. I can't wait to see what comes next for the Knight's.
The Knights Legion MC will forever live in my heart. ♥

Love how we’ve had snippets of these characters in the previous books.
Em and Dodge’s story unfolds with drama and danger with the central pair holding true to their feelings and focused on that regardless of opposition. I also enjoy the characters from a connected chapter popping up in the stories giving snippets of a promise of what’s to come in the future from Naomi. Great series for a binge read.

Danny "Dodge" and Emilee have been kept apart after the birth of their son. Dodge is tired of waiting for forgiveness from Justin for being with Emilee and getting her pregnant. Defiant Dodge……… A-MAZ-ING!! Book 5 in the KLMC series did not disappoint. I was really looking forward to reading thus book & I think it’s because of the storyline of having the love of your life taken away & your unborn child. I went through every emotion with this book & could not put it down until I finished. The 2 epilogues at the end 😮 left me wanting more, more, more. Naomi has become one of my absolute favorite authors, i love her writing style and I can honestly say that i absolutely love Knight’s Legion MC and all of the amazing Alpha characters... I was rooting for Dodge and Emily from the beginning and their reunion in this book 5 of the series didn't disappoint me at all...
I have waited be patiently waiting for Dodge’s story since he was a prospect back in the beginning of the series and Naomi showed out in this book of the series... It really helps that Naomi has been so amazing getting this series of book pushed out so close together.. I cannot wait for the rest of this series, so excited to see what the next book in the KLMC series...

I voluntarily read this book as an ARC…..So this is book 5 in the KLMC series and 🥵🥵🥵 holy moly Defiant Dodge (Danny) has grown into a man man!! He’s ‘beefed’ up and ready to get his woman and child, Emmy can’t wait to get away from her dad and his horrible ‘woman’ who seems mighty too interested in Dante (Little D) this is a book that needs to be read…..the epilogues will have you wanting to get in Naomi’s head right now for the answers to all your questions 😉

Defiant Dodge is an absolute nail-biter! It had me going from one extreme to the other emotionally. Dodge and Emilee's story was a long time coming and it completely broke my heart. These two have been through he*l and back. This author takes us on quite a journey with this couple and just when I think my heart can settle down, that final page just takes a whole new life of it's own. What a fantastic story this has been. I can't wait for what comes next.

Defiant Dodge is book five in the Knight's Legion MC series and is Dodge and Emilee's book. My heart hurt for these two in Avenging Angel and as the books went on you could tell it was taking a toll on Dodge. Even though Emilee's father was made redeemable, I can't forgive him for the things he put these two through. I am so glad these two for the HEA they deserved. I can't wait to see what's next.

It was sad, maddening, joyful, re-vengeful and exciting, plus I was a little scared at parts of the book, cause I didn't want what I was thinking would happen, to happen. The layout of the book, and the telling of the tale was so good, once again.

Defiant Dodge by Naomi Porter is book 5 in the Knight's Legion MC Series. This is the story of Danny 'Dodge and Emilee. If you have been reading this series from the start then you already know their start in love. Emilee is the forbid daughter of a MC Member and Dodge was the prospect. Now in their present day, Emilee was taken away by her father who left the MC because of what happened with his daughter. But Emille became pregnant with a son and in this book Dodge and Emilee fight to be together. I really have enjoyed this series and can't wait to read more from this author.
