The government believes the super-powered teenage “Bang Babies” of Dakota are out of control…and they’re too dangerous to be allowed on the streets! When his classmates start disappearing, Virgil Hawkins wants to do the right thing and expose what’s going on…but is there any way to do so without Static getting snatched up himself?
I like how this progressing. Still hate hotstreak. I like the Virgil Curtis connection. I also like how Richie is either gay or bisexual and nobody cares
Nice! Now we get the updated suit (that is a great throwback to the original costume) and I probably shouldn't be too surprised that Hotstreak was willing to go there. And now Static has a dufflebag full of cool stuff to use. I really need to read Hardware now.
The story picks up and you start to see the beginning of everything about to hit the fan. The suit looks great, it’s a throwback to the original but with a bit of a modern touch. I am interested to see what direction this series is about to go next.
The writing is ok. Less depth than I'm used to from Ayala. I don't like the artwork. It's indistinct at times making it unclear exactly what's going on.
Cool issue, really dug the father/son conversation. Could do without the innuendo of Richie's sexuality and hope it doesn't become a focus of the story. Meanwhile Hotstreak need to get dealt with lol
Surprisingly powerful and emotional. I'm deeply invested in this series, now. I haven't been impressed by a DC series in a while. I'm pleasantly surprised!
