Literally on my toes reading this You know the book is good when you are having conversations with yourself while reading the book 😂 This series needs to be talked about more! 🌶️🌶️🌶️
The first book I overlooked the obvious typos and what appeared to be autocorrect. I wondered if it was written in a different language and transcribed at times. It was a decent story and I chose to move forward.
This book that continues but to an extreme degree. I also no longer wonder about transcription. There are multiple instances of repeats of several paragraphs. That is not just typos.
Overall, it is a decent read. The characters are interesting and I enjoy the poly/kink/harem/lgbt aspects. I will continue the story. I just beg, on hands and knees, for the author to edit. And edit. Then, edit some more. Please.
This book was full of so many twists and turns, I never knew what to expect next! There are a lot of things that I really like and appreciate about this series but one thing I can’t seem to get over… WHY DOES THIS AUTHOR HATE CONTRACTIONS?!? I swear it reminds me of being in college trying to hit a word requirement. But aside from that, this book gave a lot more context and background for the characters which I appreciated. Something I also forgot to mention in the review of book 1 is the LGBTQ+ representation and the vary interesting dynamics.
While I initially thought I'd love for when the shifter became more involved in the story, I have to admit that I wished there was more of a transition with him. The jump from fresh meeting to absolute trust and devotion kept pulling me from the story, even though he seems like such an interesting character. That aside, everything about this book was stressful! We finally got some more backstory and context for the wars and the families, and also some gross information regarding power grabbing. I'm hoping the start of the next book handles the cliffhanger of this one better than this book did. The opening kind of fell flat despite the huge drop the previous book left on.
Really enjoying reading this! I had to knock a star off as there were quite a few spelling errors (trust instead of thrust, and things like that) which made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story
Really love the idea though and it's so refreshing to have female bi representation in a reverse harem story!
Feels a bit lacking. The character development feels shallow and the plot is lacking. The world is interesting, and I wish that there was more put into the story and characters. But lets be honest, the main reason people are reading this is for the sex scenes, and I would have liked to see more.
4,5⭐ In this one I wasn't the biggest fan of Malik and Amr, cause Amr just didn't really have much of personality and Malik had too much audacity, but god I love how there's so much going on always and the spice was so on point. I liked how things developed here with Rosie's magic and the witches and demons lore goes so much deeper than it seems in the beginning, the books are blurring into one book a bit, but that's my fault.
I’m not sure if I’m just getting used to the writing at this point? But I stubbornly just really wanna know wtf is going on. This series is messy drama and it’s so hard to look away. I truly don’t even know how to rate this???? SOS
Would have been five but the typos are intense. Love this world, and this was way more exciting than the first book definitely have to read the next because the ENDING wtf

A fantastic sequel, can't wait to read it in its final form. The ending has me shaking and ready for the next installment ASAP! I love Elle Mae's writing, she always brings her characters to life, and I never end a book disappointed. I can't wait to keep following Rosie's journey in the next novel. Definitely a series worth buying! Overall Rating: 4.5/5
