Fire Banshee #2

Banshee Bewitched

Rate this book
I made a mistake. One I paid for with my heart.

I hurt my clan. Worst of all, I hurt the man I love. My clan forgave me, but not him. I severed our bond. He’s sworn to never forgive me. I’ve refused to accept that, and I’m determined to change his mind.

But can I?

With a dark-magic wielding fairy haunting my dreams, my personal life may need to wait. My unique blood has always attracted the attention of dangerous enemies, and now that I’ve turned full-on banshee, I’m even more intriguing.

I’ve got my hands full trying to win back my love and fight off a crazed fairy. Nothing worthwhile is easy, right?

If I don’t stop the evil fairy, her massive shifter and menacing phantom, she’ll force me to live a life full of torture while doing her bidding.

It’s kill or be killed.

Which leaves me with only one option.

*If you love thrilling and sexy urban fantasy, with a strong female lead, action, humor, and romance, this one’s for you. Banshee Bewitched, book 2 in the Fire Banshee series, is recommended for 18+ because of language and sexual situations.

Kimberly Quay has loved romance & fantasy as far back as she can remember. Her childhood home was full of fantasy, romance, and thrillers books and movies. Born and raised in Florida, she spent most of her youth outside searching for fairies and hoping to meet (and fall in love with) a vampire.

Author of contemporary romance, paranormal shifter romance, and urban fantasy, she’s a sucker for a good rom-com and is fascinated by old graveyards. When she’s not working on her next novel, she’s reading or hiking the trails of North Florida.

Kimberly still loves reading. Especially Nora Roberts and Kim Harrison.

I received an autographed copy of Banshee Bewitched from the author. I enjoyed book 1, Becoming Banshee, so much I jumped right into book two. This series is like nothing I have ever read before, which is quite refreshing. Book two has all of the chemistry and heat that you get in book one mixed with a new mystery. One that introduces the reader to more magic and epic beasts. This was such an entertaining read, I can’t wait for Quay to release the third.

Banshee Bewitched is the second in the Fire Banshee series by Kimberley Quay. I read the first one a few months ago and loved it, so I was keen to to dive into the second in the series. I'm glad I did, it was fabulous, better than the first I think!

Banshee Bewitched continues the story of Kadi. There is yet more adventure and more danger, and while Kadi fights for her life we learn more about her far heritage. I have to say, I absolutely loved it. Roll on book three.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I did not realize that it was the second book in the series. I read it as a stand alone and did not have any problems following the story. There were all kinds of twists and turns in this story. It was entertaining and easy to read. I loved the characters. I hope she writes a story about Thane the werewolf as I would love to know what happens to him next. This was a good book and I would recommend it.

Banshee Bewitched is just as good as book 1 if not better. I love all the danger that's involved and I think Kadi is bad ass. I was intrigued by the werewolf. I can't wait to see what happens with him. Patiently waiting for book 3.

A genuine character who makes mistakes but who seeks to rectify the wrong caused. Magical read with some humour that keeps you turning pages to find out more.

I loved this book. I have not read any books with a banshee in them before and I was very intrigued by that. My favorite character have as to be Thane. I loved the drama and the plot twists. It just draws you in. You cannot put the book down. I am anxiously waiting for the next book to come out.

I couldn’t put this book down! The first one was like that too but even more so with this one. I knew the characters already but still felt like the book stood on its own even if I hadn’t. The action kept me hooked and I became more invested in the characters, the plot and how it all unraveled. The ending left me anxious to read the next one. Great book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It's the second in the author's Fire Banshee series. Even though I've read book 1, this one can be enjoyed as a standalone, but I highly recommend both of the books. Both are full of action, twists, romance, and excitement. All of the characters are very likable (except the bad guys, which are well written and you'll dislike accordingly!). The main character, Kadi Quinn, is a strong female banshee, but she isn't written to be unrealistically perfect. She makes mistakes but tries to learn from them. There's romance woven in at the right moments and the action is enough to keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I'm really looking forward to Book 3!

This was a much better book than the first and I was happy that I continued the series. The writing was good, and kept me interested. I don't entirely know how, because they spend pretty much the whole book just sitting in a town and it felt like they didn't really do anything, and yet I was still really engaged with the characters and what they were doing.

Everything felt a lot more natural in this book with the pieces fitting together between the action, the non-action, the romance/sex (which was toned down to a reasonable level), the development, etc.

The BBEG from book 1 is no longer a concern but was working with a witch; oh no! And now that witch is out to get the main character. They spend the book trying to figure out how to stay safe and defeat this new BBEG.

I enjoyed the sarcasm and sass of the main character, especially when she was in bad situations.

Looking forward to reading the third book.
