Imaginative and fun!
This book continues our Pinapple Cove adventures. If you haven't yet read the other books in the series you should still be able to follow along but won't be aware of past happenings.
Poseidon's trident has been stolen! Worse still, he's currently trapped as a fish. If he doesn't get the trident back soon, he'll be stuck forever!
We have a great cast of adventurers and once again get to see pirates and a variety of sea creatures. Kai is our main protagonist even though he's plagued with self doubt (like many of us sometimes), so it's great he gets time to shine.
There is great illustrations and descriptive text which draws readers of all ages into the story. One must disconnect from our illusions of time as there's a lot of adventure packed onto a small timeframe.

This latest book in the series of adventures for Kai and Delphi continues to entertain. There is non-stop action involving new and fantastic creatures. Part of the mystery is discovering whether they are friend or foe.
Poseidon's protectors-in-training have their greatest challenge of all this time. Not only does everything depend on the kids and their allies, but they have to risk all to make sure that evil does not triumph over good. Will Kai become a Protector or will the evil Jaspar triumph?
I highly recommend this fast-paced book as a fun family read-aloud or for independent readers who enjoy mystery and adventure.

Poseidon’s trident was missing. If Poseidon didn’t get his trident back by the full moon, he will be stuck as a fish forever. Oh no! Time was running out.
