MD, PhD and has served as a neurosurgeon and a specialist in acupuncture and in pain management, searching for alternative treatments for pain, discovering elements from the psychic and spiritual realm. Conversations with G is the perfect book for people who are in search of their spirituality or simply enjoy reading books about this path and the experience of other people, if you are one of those this is the book for you and you are going to enjoy it a lot.
This author has a lot of experience with everything corresponding to the spiritual world, which makes the text much clearer and more credible. Shealy has worked as a neurosurgeon, psychologist and other sciences that help find alternative treatments for pain management, based on elements of the psychic and spiritual realm. In this book, the author tells of his skills as a catalyst with his spiritual guide G, he talks about his life experiences while presenting this relationship with his guide and how to recognize the alternative and spiritual aspects of medicine that helped him to be able to give treatments and advise to patients, making improvements to their healing abilities of both body and spirit.
I highly recommend this book; it will make you understand many things that you have never been taught since it is common to talk about traditional medicine. It will help you to be more aware of all the possibilities you have to have a healthy life simply by taking care of your spirituality.

They formed a mode of connection that was not only passionate and at times intimate, but also productive, with “G” giving the author glimpses of what human beings could cure if their consciousness would just break free or breakthrough of its illusions. He provides an account of his life, as well as his successful medical profession and healing achievements in his book “Conversations with G: A Physician's Encounter with Heaven.” Additionally, he reveals conversations he has had with his spirit guide who has been a part of his life for more than three decades.

Conversations with G: A physician's encounter with Heaven is a book that was written by C. Normal Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. It is a story that inspires the spirit and expands the mind as well; it’s a personal journey of mystical encounters with angelic figures and materialization and dematerialization which have led to numerous medical discoveries. A book about G and Dr. Shealy, G being an impersonal spirit guide for Shealy who helped him in making numerous discoveries and understanding and breaking through the barrier of the mind. This is a book that requires one to be very open-minded and willing to accept topics that a normal person could not understand alone. It’s a very interesting book and I genuinely recommend it as it’s an avenue to further expand your own knowledge and capabilities of your mind.

This book will most likely interest anyone who is exploring new age philosophies, astral travel, spirit guides, etc. The author describes his own spiritual awakening, including conversations with a guide he refers to as “G” (short for “guide”, and not to be confused with the book series “Conversations with God”).
Personally, despite a deep-seated belief in immortality and a metaphysical world, there is too much pseudoscience in this for my taste. Also, some of the "amazing results" of spiritual awakening described by the author would be classified by Buddhists as examples of the pleasant but deceptive distractions we encounter on our spiritual path. Regardless, if you’re a fan of the new age movement, you’ll probably like this book.

I really like Caroline Myss, and so I was looking forward to reading this book written by her friend and colleague. However, I found it pretty tough to get through. The writing is chaotic and rambling and has some spelling errors and typos. I was able to finish the book by imagining that the author is just bursting with excitement to talk about this subject, and therefore has a hard time sticking to one topic. There are a lot of times in the book where he starts to talk about something, but stops and says "more on that later." Overall, I find these topics interesting and did enjoy reading about the author's conversations with his angel guide "G," his archetype analysis, medical intuition, past lives, chakras, etc.

C. Norman Shealy is the brilliant author who wrote this non-fiction book which is inspiring and interesting, to say the least.
How can I explain the power that “Conversations with G” has? The truth contained in these pages is very refreshing and encouraging as well as the mixture between medical procedures and spirituality. The book is easy to read and has spurred me to read the Bible in a different light; taking into account that everything has several perspectives.
If I have to be honest, I would say that this is not a book for any kind of reader since there are skeptical people.
I recommend this book, it’s a nice journey.

C. Norman Shealy's "Conversations with G: A Physician's Encounter with Heaven" is a sensational book. It focuses on the life story and career of Dr. Norman, where he tells us how he used a spiritual guide to help him better understand how to care for his patients, how to relate to them, and how to help them heal faster.
I must confess that I haven't read so many books like this one, but this one has exceeded my expectations, so I decided to recommend it to a friend.
It is an entertaining read and easy to follow. I found Dr. Norman's story very inspiring. It is a book that will open your mind and expand your spirit.

"Conversations with G: A Physician's Encounter with Heaven" is a book written by C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. In it, the author tells us about his life, and how he built his successful career. Over the years, he built a bond with G, his spiritual guide.
Although I liked the book and I liked learning about the author's life, I feel that most people have contact with a spiritual guide, so it is difficult to feel what the author feels, with each encounter. Even so, I found it a very interesting book, full of emotions and feelings.
Although I am aware that to have a connection with a spiritual guide you have to work a lot, I would really like to be able to live that experience.
Although I liked the book and I liked learning about the author's life, I feel that most people have contact with a spiritual guide, so it is difficult to feel what the author feels, with each encounter. Even so, I found it a very interesting book, full of emotions and feelings.
