Nothing to see here, folks
A nice little book with a varied collection of bourbon based drinks, but nothing you haven't seen elsewhere. It appears the author simply gathered a selection of recipes, both new and old, and packaged them as something new and exciting.
That itself would have been OK if Ms. Powell at least took the time to get a little history behind the drinks.
If the reader is new to the delights of bourbon, then this little volume may be of some interest. However, should the buyer be a bourbon veteran, he/she will be most disappointed.
