**Angel We all have a past. One that defines us. Shapes us into who we are today. Mine never left, haunting me with each breath I take. I can’t run from it, nor can I hide from the woman I’ve become. But I changed tradition, and joined the Steel Valley Chains MC. I love my brothers in leather, but they can’t find out. These lies I live might bury me six feet under. But then there’s him. How can a man like that make me feel safe? He’s a snake. And yet, who knew he’d be the one to save me? From my secrets. And myself.
**Venom I’m no good. Evil. Rotten to the core. But this woman ignites my soul, and compels my heart to beat again. I will ruin her. I don’t deserve her. Not a snake like me. But I can’t stop thinking about her, no matter how hard I try. Even when she’s driving me crazy, I feel the urge to keep her close, keep her safe. She makes me want to be a better person. Be the guy who chases away her nightmares and drowns her fears. And yet, who knew she’d be the one to save me? From my demons. And myself.

C.M. Danks loves to write and read romance. She lives in Ohio where the weather is forever changing, with her husband, little one, and their cat, Princess Zelda. Even though she has a degree as a caring Medical Assistant, she is currently loving being a stay-at-home mommy.
She enjoys her daily dose of coffee, needed so she can keep up with her small yet energetic little one. Her other hobbies include playing her Nintendo Switch, riding rollercoasters, and indulging in tasty sweets.
Holy Freakin Obsessed! I'm obsessed with not only this entire world that C.M. Danks has created but also these two MC's, Venom and Angel. Ok.... Let's be honest in Charger (Book 1) we all probably finished having mixed feelings about MY main man Venom. But.... I for one still had a soft spot for him and couldn't wait for his story. Yes I know what you are thinking.... But.. Did this man redeem himself you ask?? Oh boy not only did he redeem himself but he stole my damn heart and panties. "Angels and Snakes don't belong together. They just don't." Oh Venom how wrong you are. Angel and Venom are two broken, beaten and battered souls who both have backstories that slayed my poor heart. Beginning as enemies these two go on a journey riddled with emotion, heartache, hate (or foreplay, potato potata), lust, vulnerabilities, insecurities, angst, suspense, action, friendships and finally love. As they ride through and face each of the obstacles in their way they find something in each other that has always been missing from their broken lives, their missing piece. And damn how I loved this for both of them. I adored Angel and her combination of bad-ass exterior and despite all she had lived through her sweet, vulnerable and fight to the end personality. And MY man is Venom is imperfectly damn perfect. From his alpha-ness, protectiveness, sexiness, sweetness, and right down to his heart hurting vulnerabilities. I absolutely loved and devoured this read which had me hook, line and sinker from the heart-aching (It's dust in my I eye I swear) Prologue to the heartwarming I don't want this to end last first word.
A Highly Recommended Read! If you haven't read Book 1 Charger first I highly recommend that you do. Now bring on Book 3. I'm dying for it already.
What I initially thought was a difference between Angel and Venom was the very essence that made them alike and that was the catalyst for their beautiful and complicated relationship. I didn’t expect this book to be quite so emotional and I am here for it… All of it. It’s a huge undertaking for an author to make readers root for the ‘bad guy’ and C.M. Dank did a phenomenal job adding layers to Venom’s character that I found myself justifying some of his behaviors. And Angel, what a kickass of a character. I am gay, but I was all over her (well not literally, but you get my point).
These two hated each other’s guts and those interactions were so sexy and hot, it left my Kindle on fire. Circumstances had them side-by-side and the chemistry between these two was on another level. But those weren’t the only reasons why I loved this book. No, it’s the substance of their individual stories, their secrets and struggles was what kept my attention, rooting for them to get their HEA they so deserved.
Venom and Angel were broken, but each held the piece that made them whole. I love this story so much and I wish I could read it again for the first time.
‘Angel’ is C.M. Danks at her finest. She evoked so many emotions while I was reading this breathtaking enemies to lovers romance. This is a re-read worthy kind of good!
“I speed down the open road, because I can’t be late for dessert. My angel’s making peach pie.”
In a book full of insanely quotable bits, this sentence is my favorite. Wanna know why? Because it captures the very best of happily-ever-afters, one that was so hard earned; one that sometimes felt like it would be out of reach for these two impossibly damaged characters who really deserved it all. And I’m so freaking glad they DID get it all in the end, including Mickey pretzels and peach pie.
Angel is our heroine, and she’s as badass as they come. A fully patched member of the Steel Valley Chains, she earned her place alongside her brothers in arms. Behind her strength and bravado, however, is a woman broken by her past and imprisoned by her present.
Enter Venom, panty-melting anti-hero who pretty much stole this reader’s heart from the first word in his emotional prologue. He, too, is damaged, and in the sexy Angel he finds a kindred soul, someone for whom he would “take on the whole world” (my kind of dude, frankly).
Joining them are our beloved crew from CHARGER, including the man himself who swaggers in, his Jules and Chloe in his arms, and I forgot to breathe each time.
CM Danks’s writing is evocative and delicious, and the perfect instrument for the action-packed scenes she lays out in front of her readers. The pages turn and turn and turn.
They turned much too quickly for me. So here I am now, waiting for Book 3.
And if ANGEL (and the earlier CHARGER) are any indication, we are in for a treat!!
PS: Dibs on Hush. I licked him so he’s mine, right?
Okay let me first start off by saying I could not wait for this book. I absolutely fell in love with book 1, Charger and couldn't wait for Angel to be released. The characters, the way C.M. Danks wrote each one of them was perfect. Charger gives you the glimpse of what is to come. Venom, the hero in book two seems unredeemable. But C.M. weaved a story between two broken people that had me on the edge of my seat. Angel is a tough girl that got herself mixed up in a situation that threatens to get her kicked out of her club. Venom is ruled under the orders of his MIA president who only cares about himself. He's pulled in and held captive by Angel's club and tortured for answers. Angel is ordered by her club president to break the bruised and bloodied Venom who won't betray his brothers. The sparks begin to fly and the story starts to unravel, spiraling into lies and secrets. The heat factor? It's a damn slow burn with a lot of heat. When they come together, look out because the sparks fly igniting both their hearts. I can't wait for book 3!
Love it. It reached my expectations and more. The story would take you on a rollercoaster that you will love and fall for. We get to know more our characters and what drives them and you will fall in love with them, definitely a must read and one of my favorites so far. Can wait to see what else C.M. brings us.
Emotionally gripping, dark, raw, and heartbreakingly poetic...Angel was one thrilling ride that consumed from beginning to end....
Angel and Venom are two broken and scarred individuals trapped in worlds they can't seem to escape and yet, find themselves understanding each other in ways no one else can. Forced to work together for a common goal, these two enemies begin to chip away at the secrets, lies, and dark parts that they hide within each other. As they grow closer, the mutual hate and animosity begins to fade bringing a light and hope to their individual darkness...Ultimately becoming the soothing balm and calm to each others battered souls...the remedy to the poisoned pain that runs through their veins....
I dove into this story with an open mind because after finishing Charger (SVC #1), I definitely had mixed feelings about Venom. He’s dark, dangerous, and like his name...a real snake. How he could possibly be redeemed after his actions in the previous book.
Well, all I can say is now... I'M A GIRL WHO'S IN LOVE WITH A BAD GUY and I couldn’t have loved this anti-hero more! C.M. did the most incredible job in showing that there are indeed two faces and sides to Venom and there is in fact a remedy to his particular brand of poison...
Angel was the most amazing character! She's a tough as nails badass who's insecurities and vulnerability made my heart break for her. Broken by the events in her past and living with the demons that continually haunt her present, she fights every day against the self loathing and torment she feels. Little does she know that it's going to be a villainous snake that will the one to save her....to keep her safe from herself and any enemy that would do her harm....
The dynamic of Angel and Venom's story was so completely captivating! I absolutely loved how these two healed the scars within each other. Their love is hard fought for and not easy but, in the end so damn rewarding....
Gritty, intense, and deliciously sexy, this amazing read will have you hanging on page after page. It is my newest addiction, and I can’t wait for more from this incredible series! Gimme Tequila and Throttle's story because this gal needs more!
*I was generously given an ARC copy of this book for an honest review *
Angel and Venom are alike. C.M Danks wrote about two alike souls who are surviving pain and making it out on the other side stronger.
The beginning of the story starts off with Venom and damn did it make me take pause. I was up for the challenge I wanted to fall for the villain. If you read the first book Charger, I was on the fence about him, well because I didn’t want to take his shit. The beautiful aspect, IMO, is that yes, I fell for Venom, yes there were moments he made me smile so big, but he remained the villain. That added to the sexiness in this book. At the end of this book he rather be the villain, a killer, a snake infecting his poison if it meant Angel could keep her wings. And that is why villains do it for me! C.M Danks understood that! TY!
“Why do they call you Angel? Seems you’re anything but.”
“Because not even the devil himself will have me.”
Come on, Angel, show me your wings
Angel is bent but not broken. She felt like she was. A beautiful woman so disgusted with her inner self it didn’t matter what she saw in the mirror reflecting back. But when Venom, calls her beautiful and says it with so much conviction, it starts to matter to her. STILL her steps are calculating, the sway of her hips enticing, and if she has to fight you she will step up. She rides her own bike and feels freedom for herself. But gosh it feels so much better when they both let go and feel freedom together!
Its chaos, a fake relationship to learn about their rival MC, its a touch of darkness, heartbreak, and sexy! It’s going to crack your heart wide open GOD! and get you turned on.
“That’s right, baby girl. Scream my name. I love the sound of poison dripping from your mouth.”
You may shake your head, and want to slap some sense in Angel & Venom. Sometimes past pain, past words have such a hold on us, it infects us. But when killing is running through your veins and you have an angel guiding you, just maybe life can be sweet too.
Here's a tip for you: Do not start reading this book if you're planning to leave your house. I made the mistake of thinking that I could just sneak in the prologue before I left for work, and ended up heading into the office with red eyes and a tear streaked face. Yes, the prologue made me cry.
So, here's the thing...I like motorcycle club romances, but they really are a hit or miss for me. This one? It was a hit. Although this could be read as a standalone novel, we first meet Venom and Angel in Charger, the first book of this series. We don't like Venom. Venom is the villain. He's still the villain at the beginning of this book, but that prologue...
Angel has a past that she keeps hidden from her brothers in leather, one that she cannot escape no matter how badly she wants out. It's a secret that they can never discover. Venom really is the bad guy, he's a snake just like his name implies. So why does he make her feel safe?
There are a lot of things that I loved about this story. For one, it takes place in my home state of Ohio which is always cool. The brotherhood (and sisterhood, in Angel's case) of the Steel Valley Chains MC is admirable; they truly are a family and they take care of each other no matter what. There is a lot of steam in this story (but it's not the sole focus here), and there is plenty of action and some violence, but not so much that it starts to become unbelievable. Angel and Venom's story flows so well, and as I thought that certain things were going to happen (and I was starting to almost dread them), I was pleasantly surprised that the story took another direction. It kept me guessing and wanting to turn the pages, and gave me an ending that I needed.
This has become one of my favorite MC series, and I look forward to what comes next.
Standing ovation for C.M. Danks! From the very first page I knew this book was going to be incredible! 15% in, I knew it would be absolute perfection and wow, it sure is! It has everything, enemies to lovers, rivals to lovers, boy hates girl, girl hates boy with a passion but they are stuck together anyway. 🤣😜 The freaking incredible tension back and forth with Angel and Venom blew me away. I read fast and I purposely read this book so slow so I could enjoy every amazing word. And also, I didn’t want the book to end, it is that good. I couldn’t put it down, I didn’t want it to end (even though the ending was perfection!).
Angel is amazing. She is fierce, a fighter and doesn’t take anything from anyone, heck she is the only female in her motorcycle club, how freaking incredible is that! She has scars, but they make her stronger, fearless and caring toward the bonus family she was given with her MC gang. And Venom, holy hotness Venom! This guy had me fanning myself constantly. His inner monologue and thoughts and feelings of Angel were hot as ever! His despise for her was everything. These too sparing back and forth throughout the story gave me all the feels. This truly was an excellent page turner.
This book was phenomenal. It had passion, it had drive, it has a cast of characters that the more I read about them in this series I fall harder and harder for (I’m looking at you Charger, Jules, Tank, Tequila, Throttle, Wrench, Chain and Maggie!) They all had me laughing and swooning. They are one fun family. This book is everything you want in a great read. It will have you smiling snd tearing up. A must devour over and over. I definitely am going back for a second round-read!
I had high expectations for this book since I read the first one. I had been waiting for Angel’s book and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I loved this book. From the very first page it grabbed me and got me all misty eyed. Oh this book will play on your emotions and it will make you feel so much through out the whole book. Angel has a past and it’s just heart breaking. I love Angel, she’s mouthy, beautiful and so strong. Anyone in her position would break immediately but not her. I wasn’t sure how Venom was going to redeem himself. Or if he could. But he just blew me away with how he was with Angel. The things he said to her and what he was willing to do and did for her. He was perfect in his own way. He has his own demons to battle. He’s as broken as Angel but they see each other the way no one else does. Their chemistry is sizzling and when they come together it’s just sizzling. Angel and Venom didn’t have it easy in life. Which makes you cheer for them both. And of course there were times I wanted to scream at Venom to get it together and go after what he really wanted. This is a must read book. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions and I didn’t want this book to end. If you’ve never read an mc book I would say this is the book to get you started. I was not to read them but this author changed it all for me. I can’t wait to see what’s next. I highly recommend this book.
Wow just wow C.M. has woven an incredibly intricate, enemies to lovers that has left me completely and utterly speechless! It was all-consuming, I could not put it down Angel will leave you addicted, with its Blazing storyline and electrifying plot!
Venom and Angel’s chemistry Pulls you in from the first chapters. Intense, emotional and steamy I couldn’t get enough of these two!!
Let’s talk about venom for a minute just wow that man Owned me body, heart and soul there is just something about him is he a bad guy yes but there some vulnerable to him he is a Enigma and so sexy that man had my panties on fire throughout this entire book and his tangible connection with Angel was everything plus more. I can go on and on about my man venom let’s talk about my girl Angel that girl there is strong willed, bad ass, amazing and beautiful one of my top favorite heroines ever I loved watching here character development and her interactions with Venom just wow.
THIS STORY SLAYED ALL THE WAY!” "It was captivating I finished this book in four hours because it was such an amazing story.”
C.M. writes pure magic, she gives us fascinatingly, poignant and facets characters, I was absolutely Enthralled!!!
This is my first 6 stars read of 2022! I can’t wait for more of this amazing series..
When I read "Charger" I was quite curious about Venom, I must say that although he was painted there as a villain I was already yearning for him. So when I knew that we would have his book, and that it would be with Angel, I was overly excited. And this book met my expectations. Venom and Angel are characters that, although they seem to be completely different, have very marked similarities. Venom is a misunderstood man; his appearance and attitudes give a very different impression than he really is. Angel hides secrets that can change her position in the MC if they come to light, secrets that have a lot to do with her past. They both have a common goal, and they form a team to achieve it. However, they belong to different MCs, and that is very clear to them. Enemies to lovers is definitely my favorite trope and I really enjoyed the dynamic between Angel and Venom's relationship. Their chemistry is palpable from the beginning, and the development in terms of feelings was gradual and simply perfect! This book has a lot of steam, its dose of action, anticipation, romance and moments of tenderness with both the main and secondary characters. Apart from female empowerment: Angel is a strong character, who despite living with emotional trauma manages to get ahead. And Venom! Everything he does for her, I fell in love with that man!
I absolutely love the enemies-to-lovers theme that takes your emotions on a rollercoaster ride with Angel! As you enter the MC world of Steel Valley Chains, you are rooting for Angel and Venom to be so right for each other and as soon as you think that will happen there's a twist and oh my!!! 💚🖤🔥 On the edge of your seat M C romance and by the end of this read, you can't help but love Angel and Venom because remember: Even poison has its remedy! C. M. Danks takes the MC experience to a whole new level with a patched in female club member!! Anxiously awaiting Book #3! C.M. Danks delivers and does not disappoint!!! FYI: you also get a bonus at the end of Angel's book ????!!!!🖤💚🖤💚🔥
Yall!! CM Danks blew my freaking mind away, ONCE AGAIN!
Cm Danks has created this MC world that is just amazing! Not too much but just enough bad. Im normally not a huge fan of MC either its too much and too crass. If you read Charger which was book 1 and introduction to Steel Valley Chains MC world you will fully understand what im referring to.
In book 1 we meet both the main characters of this Book. Angel is this bad ass biker chick, the only female in the Steel Valley Chains. Takes no shit, gives no shit.
You also meet Venom. Boy talk about the ultimate Anti-Hero, Hero! CM came through with the redemption. And let me tell you not everyone can pull it off! I lived these two together.
There is just something so satisfying about seeing to broken characters come together and heal each other. Beautiful just beautiful!
Five fabulous stars for Angel and Venom! Angel is this head-strong woman with a past that you wouldn't think she is still living with. Venom we knew was a partially bad person but he tried redeeming himself which makes him a perfect character full of flaws and dislikes but also had so much heart underneath his hard exterior. I am completely obsessed with this world and I didn't expect the ending of this book. I thought it would go in a totally different direction then what it did. Highly recommended book and series.
From the previous book in this series, Venom is depicted as a hated character. Angel’s hate for Venom is obvious and he is fine with that, but when he finds out the secrets she’s keeping he can’t help but try to protect her. Angel has had to be tough and prove she is like her Chains Brothers. You get to see why Venom is the way he is and truly is the anti- hero. There is so much angst between them but when their walls start crumbling down you get to see the inside of their souls. It’s dark, but beautiful as well. Great read.
Another great beautiful and intense story that kept me turning pages and finished reading in one setting.
Angel and Venom could not be more opposite of each other but in a way they were equally broken.
Being stuck together on a mission, the hate they had for each other quickly became more difficult to feel that way as they slowly started becoming closer and realizing that they have more in common than they initially thought.
I thought I would always hate Venom but I actually really loved him in this book. Angel has secrets from her club and at times I wanted to shake some sense into her lol but the way he cared for her was so awesome. He actually made me swoon a few times.
This had everything book 1 was missing. Really brilliant characters that were fully fleshed, damaged, hardened yet so vulnerable- loved venom n angel so damn much I even had tears in my eyes at times!
Storyline plot was really good, hooked you in from the first page to the last. Pretty unique storyline, which is hard to do nowadays with the trope flooded as it is, but yeah it was different.
Writing style improved so much in this book, more mature, advanced and sophisticated.
Just a perfect biker book!!! And a very rare 5 stars from me- book 1 only managed 2 stars
Overall: 2.5/5 Plot: 3/5 Detail: 3/5 Continuity: 5/5 Character Development: 1/5 Character Chemistry: 2/5 Spice: 2/5
Hyped as a page-turner with five-star ratings and glowing reviews. I was excited when I downloaded this; my expectations were high... Too high, it seems. The reality was a crushing disappointment.
The plot is contrived, even on a fantasy basis. The dialogue is artificial, and the romance lacks emotion and connection, much like the characters backstories.
Angel is a contradiction and not in a good way from the very beginning. Her subpar, heartbreaking tale didn't make up for the characters actions or internal thoughts. If you want me to believe she's so damaged by her past she's having nightmares I need more than what it gave. The H... Venom.... His tragic backstory was more gripping, but his overall actions were childlike, and there was nothing genuinely venomous about him. This book has so much potential but the execution isn't there. It brought you to the idea of real issues but then had no follow through or gave you a lighthearted version that left you confused more often than not(at least for me). The heroine is regaled throughout reviews and the book itself as a strong, take no prisoners type--she's not. And the reasons characters within the book give for her being those things make no sense. Her motorcycle clubs president tells her at one point she's proven she can hang with the big boys, so she doesn't have to complete the assignment he gave her. But she did nothing at all to prove herself. She just sat at a table and agreed to take the assignment. The H calls her sassy and talks about her being strong, but again the reasoning is because she didnt flinch at his smile. This continues throughout the book with all her interactions with everyone. If Venom were female, I'd call him a bad@$$ FMC, but as it sits, he is also a bust that doesn't live up to the name or the idea of an "Evil. No good. Rotten to the Core" character. Literally, nothing in this book adds up.
If this is what MC books have become in 2022, I won't be attempting another.
YUS!! 🙌BOOM!! 🙌That's how it's done!! Freaking LOVED this book!!
One look at the cover and I wanted it One look at the author and I needed it One read over the synopsis and I had to have it!!
As soon as my arc arrived on my kindle I said goodbye to the world and didn't resurface until this had been inhaled!!
In the previous book of this series, Venom was one of those characters I loved to hate and hated to love. I wondered how C.M. Danks could write a book about this ‘villain’ of the series and make us love him. Make him truly redeemed. Somehow, she was able to do this easily and flawlessly. I felt for him so much. I feel like he 100% redeemed himself.
My Beloved Venom, I adore you. C.M. Danks may have created you, but you're mine now.
Talk about hit me in the feels! This is why this author, from the beginning of her writing career cemented herself as one of my favourite authors. I love the characters she's introduced me to, the unique storylines, the heart pounding situations they face, the chaos and mayhem, the dark, the grit, the angst, the drama, and the romance all make for epic riveting reads and like this book this author nails them on all!!
It was brilliant, addictive, fast paced and steamy. I devour it in one sitting, Angel: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance is packed with suspense, twists and is dark and sexy.
This series is a must read, all these characters has a special place in my heart! I cannot recommend this enough.
"I speed down the open road, because I can't be late for dessert. My angel's making peach pie."
C.M. Danks does it once again. Angel is by far her best book yet. This amazing story of two characters so broken that only they can fix each other was so heart wrenching and warming. Every page had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. You felt the anguish, the need to be healed, the longing for each other in the worst ways. This was a story of how true love can heal all, even the worst of wounds.
Angel: a badass blonde bombshell. She could kick your ass and hang with the boys like no other but she has a touch like silk and can send you off to heaven with just one touch. Yet her past really haunts her. She's so broken and is caught in a world that is slowly killing her. Too proud to ask for help, not strong enough to believe in herself to get free.....until him her poison. It only took one bite.
Venom: hated at first, seemed like such a snake. A poisonous personality, but all of this was a defense mechanism. His past was eating him alive. Not being able to deal with his demons that surrounded him. He needed an angel to free him and send him to heaven.
These two hardheaded characters made the perfect duo. The banter back and forth. The sexual tension between them had you begging for more. Loved the way they healed each other from their pasts and themselves. C.M. Danks makes you believe that no matter how hard your life may seem no matter what demons you may face there's always that someone out there to pick up the pieces and heal you.

A powerful start to another instalment of Steel Valleys Chains MC and yet again CM Danks nails it. I thought my love for Charger was solid. Until.... Venom.
----------------
Wow the emotional rollercoaster of emotions in this book in unreal from both Angel & Venom. The gravitational pull is raw and electric and pulls you in from their first encounter. Add in the sexual chemistry and Angel & Venom will leave you feeling hot and bothered for sure.
Angel's characters brings me laughter and love. She uses a tough exterior to fight her pain and damn if her sass is HARDCORE and will leave you laughing your head off.
Venom is a complex dickward and damn he will pull your heart in a million directions and have your heart fluttering all the same damn time. ----------------- I LOVE the cross over and how Charger & Jules still have a pivotal role in this book add in all the brothers and the girls and it gives you a family feel to their club.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 /5 Spiciness rating: 🌶🌶/ 5 Kindle Unlimited [ ✕ ] YES [ ] NO Stand-alone [ ✕ ]YES [ ] NO POV: first person - dual POV Genre: Contemporary Romance Tropes: enemies to lovers hate to love slow burn sassy+ strong Heroine MC hero + Heroine tragic + abusive past touch her and 🔪 who did this to you
My Thoughts: Angel by C.M. Danks was my first read by this author. I have read Many MC romance novels, and compared to what I have read, this wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I couldn't connect as well as I liked with the characters and even felt some annoyance toward the Heroine at the time idk it wasn't my style of badass female character. Overall, it was an okay book with an okay plot and side characters, nothing that would make me want to read other books in this series.
Pretty good Loved their chemistry and connection Hated how they characterized prostitution: “you’re better than that” . Degrading sex workers does not further a plot, just makes you an asshole.
Toward the end, there were a bunch of signs that Angel was pregnant, but it was never revealed. So that was a buzzkill

I've been eagerly waiting for Angel's story and CM. Danks didn't disappoint. Angel is a member of The Steel Valley Chains MC, trying to hold her weight in an all-male MC club apart from as well as dealing with problems from her past. Venom is Vice President of the opposition MC Club. They meet in unpredictable circumstances, and the meeting has an immediate effect on each other. Forced into proximity with each other, the tension is off the charts. If you like a Dark Mc Story, then Angel is for you. Note the trigger warnings.
I can already tell you hands down that this will be one of my favourite reads of the year! I’m obsessed with Angel and Venom😍. I adored getting to see more of the gang and how they all had each other’s back, like a proper family. There’s action, steam, violence, and a fab plot, what more could you want? I’m super excited to see where the rest of the series go and for whose story we have coming next👀.
I'm re-writing this review because for some reason Goodreads misplaced it?!
Anyways, this was one of my first reads of 2022, and hands down, it has been one of my favorite reads this year.
I must admit, I was super excited about this once since I totally fell in love with Charger and C.M. Danks writing right away.
This second book on the series of the Steel Valley Chains MC exceeded my expectations, not only I totally love a badass FMC as Angel, but Venom was such a hated character in the first book, that trying to find a redeeming quality was hard to believe.
This is a very spicy enemies to lovers story, with a lot of the MC world and a very engaging storyline. The chemistry between Angel and Venom was undeniable and it has a HEA. I highly recommend this book to all those enemies to lovers, MC fans!, and if you haven't started this series you totally have to run and grab Charger ASAP!
