I’ve dedicated my life to slaying vampires. Now I’m about to offer up my blood.

When my brother gets into some serious trouble with the Vampire Clan of Baltimore, there’s only one thing I can do to save his ass.

I’ll offer myself up as a blood tribute, infiltrate their underground palace, and find a way to get him out.

But playing the part of a simpering blood bag is harder than I expected, especially when my first impulse is to stake every vamp I meet through the heart. To make matters worse, I’ve somehow caught the eye of three different vampire men:

Bastian, an ancient prince with features as cold as ice and eyes that burn like fire.

Rome, a darkly sexy rebel who just returned from a hundred year banishment.

And Connor, a newly turned vampire whose lopsided grin is so devastatingly human that I almost forget he’s the enemy.

Even though I want to hate them all, they keep getting under my skin in ways I can’t explain. But if I let myself lose focus for even a second, it won’t just be me who pays for it. My brother will suffer too.

I’ve danced with the devil plenty of times…

But this time, the dance might kill me.

Blood Debt is the first book in the Kingdom of Blood series, a reverse harem vampire romance. Warning: the heroine is tough but flawed and the (anti)heroes are sexy and dangerous. If you love books by Jaymin Eve, Ivy Asher, Tate James, Eva Chase, and Kelly St. Claire, then dive right into this dark and twisted world!

This was a cool concept but it lacked some oumph for me. What does this mean? Here is a quick pro an con list:

Cons:
- the romance was confusing. Insta love but also not? Having s e x in the most random times. The MC hated the vamps but also loved them? She kissed them like it was nothing? They liked each other but also didn't? It was just very confusing and not in a good way as there was no context.
- The end felt very rushed. I also didn't understand the MC and why she punched who she punched. It just felt out of nowhere.
- The friendship. She kind of likes the girl and then suddenly she is like, she is my BEST friend. How did that happen? Yes some weeks past but it was supper sudden.
- Other random moments where I couldn't understand the motivation or why it was happening. (I guess it was missing a lot of 'build' moments)
- Her brother. Maybe it will be explored more later but her view of him is problematic. He is problematic. Guilting her when she comes to save him?! Just no. It's a toxic relationship in some ways.
- The end. It also seemed out of place and rushed.
- other mic plot holes

Pros
- Good concept.
- Writing was overall good (just need more emotions and insight in the characters and work on plot/build up)
- Cool world set up
- good potential for the romance later on and distinct LI

This book just wasn't for me unfortunately.

Ok I don’t understand how Callie does it every. Single. Time. But she really does!!!

I adore paranormal romance books and especially when there’s vampires involved, ugh, I swoon.

We are introduced to Bastine, Connor and Rome and while they all play incredibly different characters and roles, they gel with Mikka so perfectly. Each has their role in breaking down her walls and making her question everything that she thought she knew about the Vampire race.

Mikka is such a badass character and I loved the role she played in this story. She is trying to save and protect her brother by hiding behind enemy lines and going against everything she stands for. She is a true warrior and what happens in the cliffhanger that this all ended on has me DESPERATE for the second book!

Forced to sell herself as blood tribute to save her never-do-well brother, badass vampire hunter Mikka struggles to blend in with the other tributes. Quickly forming friendships and gaining enemies within the vampire’s compound, she finds herself drawing the attention of the charming and caring Connor, strong and protective Rome, and quiet and mysterious vampire Prince Bastian.

Fighting her hunter’s instincts, Mikka must submit these vampires’s sensual and addicting bites while plotting her and her brother’s escape. Will they make it out before being chosen by another vampire and forced into a lifelong (and life shortening) bond with one of the dastardly vampires?

As with Callie Rose’s prior PNR series, the first book brings strong world building, with enough simmering chemistry and heat to satisfy, and a nail biting cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more. I’m looking forward to the next book, which will undoubtedly bring unexpected twists and turns, and increasingly hot scenes as Mikka’s relationships with her men evolve.

Oh, and did I mention one of the men is pierced?

This was okay. It's a reverse harem type of story, which I don't have a problem with. However, it felt like there was no set up or tension or really anything between the main character and her three love interests. It was like she arrived. Then boom, she has three of the most sought after vampires just into her. There were no moments, with the exception of her and one character. There was a lot of staring though. It could have been interesting if there were more development in the relationships, but for me, it was just kind of boring. She has conflicting feelings about vampires that feel like they come out of nowhere since there's no real interaction between her and them.

Having said that, I found the world to be interesting, the steamy scenes were good and the characters had potential for me to like them. There just wasn't enough time. The plot (not the romances) was mildly intriguing and I'm sort of interested to see where it goes, but I can't say I'm dying to read the next book. This might be more of an "it's me, not you" situation.

Okay, so even though I love paranormal and supernatural in my everyday life, when it comes to PNR romance, I’m super picky, for whatever reason. I can’t explain it, I just am. However, Callie Rose has launched yet another amazing PNR romance and she has got me so excited for it.

Mika is such an incredible heroine, fierce and strong, sass for days. I loved her. She has such a strong resolve that you can’t help but admire. I can’t wait to see what else lies ahead for her.

And Bastian, Rome, and Connor? Yes. Love them. LOVE. Connor is perfect, hands down. I loved his goofy nature and genuine disposition. Rome is... wow. When I tell you I would climb a ladder for this man, I mean it. But Bastian, our mysterious prince. I can’t wait to find out more about him.

Fair warning though, this ends on a heck of a cliffhanger. I couldn’t believe what was happening and then BAM! The end. Oof. I need book two now!

Enjoyable

Such a long time I haven't read a vampire story and I'm not disappointed😊
So, Mikka, the FMC is a vampire slayer. She has a brother who's a drug addict and used to put himself in trouble. His last bad decision? Selling himself as a blood tribute in order to reimburse his debt! No need to tell that Mikka wouldn't accept it and would do anything to save her brother even becoming herself a blood tribute.
We discovered in this book an underworld palace were a vampire prince and Elders ruled following ancient unfair vampire laws. Mikka discovered a ruthless world and couldn't keep herself helping other people because she's that nice. ♥️
The guys were all vampire but were very different: there were the prince, the nice guy, and the protector. A classic but it worked and nothing wasn't settled at the end of the book.
The book end with a medium cliffhanger but what happened to Mikka and her brother was heartbreaking and hooked me on: no way I won't read the next book!

Ok read, but I didn't like it

I'm not sure why I didn't care for this book. The beginning we meet a slayer, and her brother who goes and sells himself to vamps as a blood bag pretty much. Are H isn't having it and goes to save him. We get a slayer who kinda starts liking the vampires and even sleeps with one. I found all her mingling boring and her interaction with the guys barley even there. So with that i found myself skimming through looking for my badass slayer? She finally takes the chance to get them both out and it all goes horribly wrong in the worse ways. I think what really had me was that she didn't have the anger at the end? I wanted her to promise then all death! All the ppl who hurt her and her brother. But she just seemed weak and sad? That just didn't seem real slayer to me.

Very annoying

DNF @ 54%
Lost a star as only one POV, which really peeves me off....I want to know what the Hs are thinking!! I find books very 1 dimensional when in just the h’s POV

Also lost 2 points as all 3 Hs kept blood sucking other women, even after meeting the h. Two even did it at the same time with 1 woman, OK we heard about it second hand from one of the women but even so! You may think “oh but it’s only blood sucking and nothing sexual going on”....for a start that’s never mentioned that nothing else happens and also it causes the woman to sometimes have an orgasm as it’s so arousing (if done correctly)...that to me is therefore pretty intimate!

Mikka is kind of funny. Her narrative made me smile/laugh a few times.

She's like the cranky sibling who, yet again, has to save her annoying brother from himself and his stupid decisions. As someone with siblings, I can absolutely relate to that feeling as well as the protectivenes to save them, even from themselves. It's a compulsion, really.

The world building is interesting - tributes and bonding and biting - all good. But...the story is a bit predicable. The guys are OK. They are different from each other but it seems to dilute their hotness, rather than distinguish them from one another. Though I must say, some of the bedroom scenes/biting were pretty steamy. I ended up skimming the last part of the book. I missed some details that came up later on but didn't even care.

I've started book 2 but not so invested in the story. We'll see how far I get.

3⭐️ - a bit too slow burn for me… and/or too much repetitive inner dialogue given the length of the book. I don’t like either of the above because it’s way too much filler for me to keep paying attention. The repetition is aggravating but I’m also extra sensitive to that because of the last few books I’ve read.

I have a feeling, though I hope I’m wrong (please!), the rest of the series will be the same and I’ll end up wasting $30 on the audible version of the same annoying stuff I dislike that’s repeated book in a trilogy. I truly hope I’m wrong.

I liked where the plot was going outside of what annoyed me (sorry, I’m ornery today), so I purchased the next in the series. It’s a make or break on how invested I get to finish the last of the three books.

Loved this!

Callie Rose has never let me down. I've loved every book of hers I've read, and Blood Debt was no exception...even if I tend to prefer contemporary.

If the next 2 books continue as this one, I could quickly see this becoming my top vampire series. There's plenty of action, and Mikka is a kick ass heroine that doesn't put up with anything and also has a big heart.

The guys are hot, and although there was only 1 steamy scene in this book, it was hot.

The ending has me desperate for book 2, and I'm diving straight in. Highly recommended.

Ah I loved this book! I fell out of my vampire books but this got me right back into them. I love our main character and how she’s willing to do anything to protect her brother. I love that she tries to help another tribute and doesn’t even consider the consequences for herself. The ending sucked and I hate what her fate was. I also feel awful for her brother and what happened to him. I cannot wait to continue the series!

50/50 on this one. The massive, gaping hole in the plot (Mikka's lack of any actual plan to get her brother out) meant that they were basically relying on luck to escape - which is idiotic. They didn't even have bombs or anything that might give her an advantage against an an entire guard of supernatural enemies. It made her lose credibility as a hunter in my eyes.

It also bothered me that the relationships with Bastien and Rome were rushed. I'm pretty sure Rome had spoken less than 10 sentences to her prior to them having love/hate sex so I didn't feel as though there was enough of a connection there to justify all the angst. I hate bully romance but I think it would have played better as that type of romance rather than what happened here.

Things I loved: Connor. He was an absolute darling. Such a sweetheart. Fully on board with him as a love interest.

I also appreciated the FMC being quite tough in most of her internal thoughts as well as actions. Too often the 'kick-ass' heroines turn into a puddle of goo the moment they come face to face with a man. That didn't happen here, thankfully.

I'm curious about how she plans to get her revenge so I'll definitely pick up book two.

Vampire Hunter Mikka (Darcy FMC) is at the mercy of the very things shes hunting when her brother - Nathan gives himself up as blood tribute to them to pay off his debt. Mikka/Darcy does the same to save him except her prejudices towards these Vampires might not be all that true. The flirting and the sexual tension between her, Bastian, Connor and Rome are hot as hell!! Flaming hell its a cracking read that had me immersed in it from start to finish and that ending was just killer!! Quite literally. Dying for the next book now

Blood Debt is the first book in Callie Rose's new Kingdom of Blood series and dude... This is the second series I will be reading by Callie and something I came to realize really quickly about Callie's book is one, the plots are great and the characters are fascinating, two the plot will keep me on my toes and I will devour the book, and three I am never prepared for the stress level her writing gives me. By halfway through the book I am so invested in the characters and by a certain point, I am seriously scared for them. Callie doesn't hold any punches and I just wait for the next shoe to drop. Seriously my nerves are fried, but in a good way, I loved this book.

Mikka is a strong female character who knows how to handle herself, especially being a vampire hunter. She's good at her job and she likes being a vampire hunter, she has honed her skills and while she isn't cocky she is confident she can do the job. She's even realistic about her life, as Dean Winchester (TV series Supernatural) says, she knows "that it's gonna end bloody" but she is fine with that as long as he can help defend humanity against vampires then she's cool with it. Mikka is a good person with a skewed look at vampires (who doesn't), strong, confident, and loyal, and that loyalty is what gets her. Mikka's only family is her big brother and she loves him with her whole heart and the connection goes both ways, while I didn't get that much from Nathan, in the tidbits I did get I could tell he loves her, they have a close sibling bond, I hope things manage to work out for them.

This harem is shakey. Bastian, Connor, and Rome are nothing how I thought they would be. Bastian initially scared the crap out of me now I think that there is something deeper that he hides and he's curious. Connor with his easy-going ways is an adorable puppy who I want to protect, and protective Rome is hotter than sin. This is a slow-burn romance the relationships are developing slowly over time (one super hot scene towards the end was fire), it was interesting seeing Mikka's defenses fall down as she realized that not all vampires fit the stereotype, some do, but not all. How they got along with each other, how they connected, it was a build and I hope in the coming books that we are rewarding with something very satisfying.

While the idea of vampires taking advantage of humans isn't new, Callie's take on it with the schemes, the manipulations, and the lavish parties, and with the tributes, how they are compensated, how they are found and treated within the palace. The rituals of the vampires and how the tributes are treated not only by the vampires but by the tributes. It was all very interesting but I would love to know more about vampire history and maybe their hierarchy, to see more about how their world works would be great.

Blood Debt ended on an explosive cliffhanger, not really surprised that Callie ended it on a cliffhanger but dang I'm ready for the next book. Mikka has gotten herself into a tough spot and I am looking forward to her fight her way out of it because if I've learned one thing about Mikka, it's she's a fighter. I can't wait to see how hard she fights in Dark Legacy.

I'm HOOKED!! Mikka aka Darcy is fierce, caring, and deadly when need be. She's usually very smart, however, her half thought out plan to save her brother, doesn't reflect her intelligence very well. The things we do for those we love can sometimes become our own downfall. Mikka is a Slayer, she's a Hunter, with a hate for vampires that fuels the fire inside her. So of course she has to sell herself to them in order to help her brother out. Things are not as she had expected, there's so much more to what she thought she already knew. And, this weird reaction to a steaming hot bouncer, yeah she's got no clue what she's in for. Rome caught her eye first, but then we get Connor, sweet and cute, nothing like the monsters she knows vampires to be. I love Connor. His fun, laid back character, his easy smiles, and the way he is with Mikka had my heart swooning. But then there's Bastian, the Prince himself, and I couldn't grasp onto any definite opinion on how I wanted her to handle him. He holds such a high title, yet so far I'm failing to see that it holds any real power behind it. Mikka catches his attention almost immediately, but personally, I find Rome, and even Connor, to be more worthy of her attention. This becomes even more the case when everything goes sideways. When the unthinkable happens I felt angry, an disappointed, and I'm pretty sure betrayal was amongst them too. I cried for what is done, for how it's done, and was left with a heavy heart. While my heart may be heavy, and bruised, my brain is plotting such sweet vengeance, and I'm hoping for absolute carnage. I want heads and limbs to fly. I want the vile, evil monsters to pay for their every sin. I need to know what will happen now with Rome, and with Connor. If one hair is out of place on his pretty little head, I'm going to loose my mind. And, really, I need so much more of all of Rome's special ladders. You'll have to read the book to understand, and yes, you definitely want to understand. I think I may need to go make a deal with the devil, I need him to help me survive until July when book two comes out.

~ Until next time, happy reading friends!

SUPER quick and easy read, fast-paced, not a lot of fluff or filler. Not horrible, by any means, but not so captivating that I couldn't pull my attention away from it. Might continue the series, not sure yet, but probably not (at this point, at least).
Things might've felt more believable if the book had been fleshed out a more .

My issues? THIS TROPE: the guys thinking/saying/treating the mc like "wow, you're nothing like the other girls"~ when really, there was no real basis for that yet.
Like, honestly bruh, now one is so into her that he'll break the rules? The nice one feeding off others without any emotional attachment but is already protective of ✨️this girl✨️ and treats her like he's an awkward boy falling in love for the first time? Or, can we talk about the ancient one (who should know better) essentially showing her the escape route even after he found her doing something super sus, and that had been their only real prior interaction?
Idk. While I don't mind that this was a quick read, it would've been easier to get attached to the characters and suspend disbelief if the book had been fleshed out more.
Had that been the case, I probably would have left a higher rating.
I also really did not enjoy the "Mean Girls" bit. I know it was addressed as being petty and childish, but it felt very out-of-place. I would've thought the others would've handled "competition" in a different way than just trashing her room and giggling about it.

The pros? Rome is an interesting character that I would want to know more about. (I could pass on the other two.)
I liked Jessica as a side character a LOT. Would've liked to learn more about her.

On a pettier note: I didn't like the MC's name (not bad associations with it or anything, I just didn't feel like it *fit*). But clearly it must have to the author, or they wouldn't have used it, and that's really the only thing that matters. It was more just like, whenever her name was used while reading it actually jarred me out of the world for a second, because it just didn't seem to flow with everything. Maybe that's just me.

Really good writing in this one. Nice flow, minimal grammatical errors, and diverse wording. The MC was very likeable as well- she strongly emulated the "strong FMC" that is seen often in popular fantasy series (emulated in a good way).

I appreciated that she was capable and looking for an escape route the whole time.

Why I took a star away- the other characters were not nearly as strong. The dialogue was lacking for them, and instead we must rely on what the MC conveys to us- such as, what emotions, thoughts, or actions she perceives from the other characters. Is this called, telling but not showing?
This mainly stood out in the case of 2 of the male love interests, Rome and Bastien. Connor honestly had great characterization. The other 2 barely had any dialogue with the MC. Of course, this may be remedied in future books, but in this first book, I would have liked to see another strong character besides the MC. Her brother would have been a good opportunity for this.

I also hope to hear more about how the MC got into vampire hunting and more about how she carried out missions. Maybe I misinterpreted, but it sounded like she only did it for a few months.

Again, if that is also remedied in future books, then I may even be tempted to chalk this book up as a prequel.

Finally, the plot- a nice premise and ending, but there was not a great sense of urgency. Of course, the MC was waiting for the bonding ceremony (?), but I did not feel like that was an immediate worry. It was more a matter of how soon she could find an escape route, which largely seemed based on her wandering the building and making maps (overall, not that dangerous).

I always enjoy a nice little vampire series!!! Glad to read the rest

Blood Debt: A Vampire Paranormal Romance

I stopped reading a lot of paranormal romance stories a few years ago. They started to become monotonous after awhile. Every now and then one would catch my eye. This one pulled me right back in and reminded me why I use to read them. I am truly glad I decided to give this one a try. It was so good. I was glued to the story from page one. (Love the Buffy references thrown here and there. I have always been a fan girl of Joss Whedon💕). Mikka is such a strong, witty, funny and caring woman. She loves her crazy stupid brother and would do anything for him, even sell herself to the enemy to rescue him. She was not prepared though to catch feels for not just one but three vampires as well as gain a best friend along the way. There is something special about Conner, Rome and Bastian. Conner is sweet, kind, funny and adorable. He’s the type of guy that always makes you smile. Rome is protective and noble. He is true to his word. He seems the type that doesn’t let many in but if you are worthy of his attention he will give his all. Prince Bastian he’s a tricky one. He seems to slip past your defenses and slowly pulls you in. It’s little things here and there, a seductive heated look and touch or the little bit of vulnerability we see here and there that draws you in. Anyway, that cliffhanger was killer. I am definitely downloading the next book. Thank you Callie Rose for pulling me back into this genre. It’s like coming home after being away for a while and seeing everything in a new exciting way.

I read the compilation of the series. So, I wrote a single review for all three books. I do not feel like the individual books would stand alone. So, I suggest picking up all three if you plan to read the series.

I'll reluctantly round this series up to a three. The first book was weak. But I stuck with it, hoping it was just first-book syndrome and the series would improve. Book two coasted on about the same. But by the third book, I was skimming, at best.

I didn't care about anyone or anything and only finished it to have finished it. When rating them individually, I gave books one and two low three stars and book three a two-star rating. Not so much because the quality dropped any lower, but because the author just wholly failed to bring the series into anything worth having stuck around through all three books.

The world is barely fleshed out. The plot is simplistic and stretches over far more pages than needed. The romance is instant and doesn't even particularly make sense. Three times, in fact, the romance is instant and doesn't even particularly make sense. The sex scenes might have been considered fine if I cared about any of the characters. But I didn't, so they didn't have any emotional impact. The heroine is oh-so-special for no apparent reason, while the heroes are characterless cardboard cutouts. And the narration is overblown, though I'll acknowledge that the mechanical writing is fine.

All in all, this series was tolerable. I'm just glad to be finished.

Mikka is a vampire hunter, but she’s also a sister. A sister who has promised to take care of her brother who manages to get himself into trouble. He got himself in so much trouble that the only way to get out of it, is to trade himself in exchange for money to the vampires. Now he’s a blood tribute and the only thing Mikka can do is trade herself and get them both out of there.

However, she meets Connor, a newly turned vampire who’s shy and nice and everything Mikka knows a vampire isn’t. But it’s not just Connor that confuses her, it’s Bastian the prince, and Rome, a newly returned exile. They all make her think she’s wrong about bloodsuckers.

She still plans on getting her brother out, but when she tries to escape with him they get caught. Nathan is forced into a bond with Althea. The bond forces him to be subservient to her and her desires. But since she’s a hunter they can’t just let her go, but they can’t make her a martyr either as all the other tributes were there watching. So they made her into the one thing she hates the most a vampire.

Earlier when she had been with Bastian he had confessed that a hunter had killed his parents, so when she was turning she pled with him to really kill her and told him how vampires had killed her parents in front of her and how she couldn’t become that. He told her to drink and that it would kill her so she did, but she wakes up a vampire at the end of the book.

Read By: Ebook
Author: Callie Rose
Genre: Fantasy Romance, Reverse Harem

My feelings:

Callie Rose does it again. The first book in this series is amazing! I love it!
She does the sweet ones first so well and makes you fall in love with them straight away.

No wonder they call orgasms “little death.” He could kill me like this, and I’m not sure I’d even care.

Conner my sweet soul omg I love you! Rome is so dam cute too, he is sweet enough to help her all the time and also mean enough to fight the bad guys. As for the prince, he is swoon-worthy but I'm not sold on him yet.

If I were a different person—if he were a different person—I would. Because the thing I remember most is my parents dying too.

Mikka is a major badass who I feel in love with right away, I love her skills and her strength, and I wonder if she will let the boys into her ice ice-cold heart she thinks she is portraying to the world.

Even though we never even spent that much time together, Bastian clearly knows me well. I’m used to fighting. If he had fought me, I would have forced him to kill me, even in my weakened state. But he beat me with the one thing I could never fight against—tenderness.

I highly recommend it.

I do so love a good Vampire/Vampire Hunter book!

After watching her parents die violently at the hands of vampires when she was younger, Mikka has dedicated her life to wiping them out. When her drug addicted brother gets himself in a situation that ends with him becoming a blood tribute to the Baltimore vampire nest, she has to go behind enemy lines to get him out.

Posing as a female blood tribute she meets the fabled Prince of the vampires, Bastian. Strangely she also befriends a newly turned, Connor, and finds an unlikely savior in vampire outcast, Rome. But just because she is learning that not all vamps are murderous blood suckers, she stays true to her cause...break her brother out of the impenetrable underground palace.

Love triangle in the making and vampires and a female hunter. I was crazy excited about the premise. This is the first in a trilogy, so it moved a little slow, but the relationship with Bastian moved way too fast. Time was given to develop Connor’s relationship with Mikka, but Rome’s was super thin, and Bastian’s was even thinner. This I did not like. I’m hoping things are fleshed out more in the next book, which I will be grabbing as soon as it’s released!

She is a vampire slayer who rids the world of fang bearing evil one at a time.

Her dream is to slaughter them all, but now thanks to her brother she finds herself getting ready to offer herself to them as a "tribute"

Why, just why?!...
If you like vampires, and hot sauce then this book is definetly for you!

This is the first book in a new series called "Kingdom of blood" and follows Mikka as she goes down the rabbit hole following her brother.

There's subterfuge and secrets, reason and rhyme, all mixed with a healthy dose of sensuality. What more do you need in a book?

Mikka is a fantastic character. She is kind and caring, yet single minded at the same time.

The vampires that surround her are a mixed bunch. You have the generic brute, the bad boy and the cutey, along with the one that's out of reach. A perfect combination. Something for everyone!

All in all, a fantastic start to a new series and I for one can't wait to read more of this new and exciting world!

Wooow. Hello hunter in disguise

4.5! But rounded down because small but constant details weren’t as smooth but overall it was fun.

Mimi’s a terrible actress. I’m saying it now. I don’t know how she never got found out but it was entertaining to watch. I love these kind of storylines so it wasn’t hard to get into it. It was, however, hard to believe that these vampires were so careless with their tributes. Have they never felt the need to be paranoid? No one listens in for them in their rooms round the clock? No one’s ever thought to keep an eye on flight risks? Maybe they can blame hubris on that but that’s a lot of excuses to come up with when reading.

The writing was pretty good. Mimi is hilariously dirty-mouthed and her story with her family pulled at my heart strings. The helplessness wasn’t fun to experience but it added to it all the same. I liked some of the girls there. The prince seemed like he could’ve been flushed out more, compared to how I enjoyed Connor and Rome but… overall a very enjoyable book.
