Hell's Angel #2

The Devil's Advocate

Rate this book
The world needs a hero. Might as well be me.

Seeing as I’m the devil, you’d think that I’d be ecstatic to find out that Heaven is dying.

Well, I’m not... Because with those pearly gates closed, all new souls either end up in my domain or completely lost with nowhere to go.

God is missing, and so is my boyfriend.

To save both, I’ll need to unleash the apocalypse. Of course, my nosy, good-for-nothing Archangel brothers won’t make that easy.

Yeah, I’m just your average, everyday fallen angel, but I’m also the world’s last hope. Can I find God, rebuild Heaven, and save the earth from certain destruction, all while keeping the flame alive with my fire demon boyfriend? Let’s find out, shall we?

I previously reviewed this book under another title. This is a copy of that review.

I liked this second book in the Hell's Angel series. Lucy is on the warpath after her lover, Levi, is sucked through a portal into another dimension. While she is glad to learn he is armed with the sword forged in Heaven, she now has no way to open another portal and rescue him. He is only human after all.

Things only get worse when Lucy learns that her father, God, has been missing for years. She has been down in her own domain, Hell, making it into a smooth, running machine that punishes evil like it is meant to do. She has not taken the time to visit Heaven and her two brothers, Michael and Gabriel. She knows they are not doing a good job of keeping the Earthly domain running smoothly. It is obvious as soon as she sees the closed pearly gates that no one is running Heaven either.

Join Lucy as she comes up with a plan to rescue Levi, and then turns her attention to finding her father and getting Heaven sorted. Her feelings for Levi grow stronger, but how long can the CEO of Hell spend in the Earthly domain with a human? Or is he still a human? He seems to be running a little hot lately. Do they have a chance at a happy ever after?

I was given an advanced copy of this book. My review is voluntary.

This thrilling adventure continues and it is really really good! Lucy and Levi continue to heat things up and now God had gone missing and no one has noticed for quite a while and now heaven is beginning to fall apart. It’s one hell of a journey as Lucy must figure out what to do in this exciting, action packed and adventure filled story brimming with mystery, suspense, intrigue and betrayal. Twists and shocking surprises are thrown our way and this was so good I’m off to read the next book!

Heaven or Hell part two...

So much action and emotion in this second book!  Lucy's hands are full...  So much to do and so little time to fix everything...  I am starting to read the third and final book right away!

Wow! Hell has come to earth. So much has happened on Earth. Lucy has done a good job of helping to right what she can. So crazy. I do hope she can find a way to forgive. I enjoyed this story and look forward to the next. I need to see just what will happen.
