An intriguing mix of fantasy and Sci Fi. I really loved the premise of this book, and the characters. The world building is compelling and the story is rather unique. This was quite an enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to reading more from the author.

This is one of those books that is hard to put into one category. Plenty of science fiction to be sure. Lots of fantasy thrown in also. A great read from beginning to end.

Refreshingly different!

Humans are the aliens in this invasion story and as on earth, some people believe fighting is better than peace. The humans end up helping the Undaari in a war and .... I'm not going to spoil the ending. Just read it! It's phenomenal!

an amazing read with a combination of science Fiction and fantasy. Due to an immediate nova in the solar system, 5 earth colonial ships are sent out to hopefully find a planet on which they can live. The Jericho runs out of fuel shortly before they arrive at a destination planet. Sending a scout ship to the planet they discovery a planet with inhabitants similar to earth people but appear to have magical powers. However; on the Jericho the military general on board takes over and sees a different picture than the original commander. It appears both the people on the ship and those who arrived on the planet will have their hands full. Well worth reading.

Magical !! . . .

As a very small remnant of humanity flees the ruins of Earth, survival is not guaranteed. So many things can go wrong… and it will. Major Nazario wisely expects danger, hardships, hunger. But what nobody counted on was a dragon and a horde full of angry orcs... The description of the narrow escape feels very real, especially since only 5 ships seem to have escaped at least the immediate destruction. Nazario is stranded on board one of those last ships, and he now has to find a “home” for the survivors.

I was already excited at the sci-fi nature of the story. The descriptive wording painted quite a vivid picture of what was happening. But the fantasy elements really spiked up the interest and made this story even more enjoyable because now anything at all could happen. Some paranormal elements we think we know, but they get a new treatment here. Grab this exciting, imaginative story of what the future could be like if we lose the sun and guaranteed annihilation is imminent!

Nicely done.

Well written,I see hints of the next one in it but they don’t ruin the plot. I can see buying the next one.
