There was some really nice character introspection in this manga. However, the miscommunication between these characters really ruined it for me. That said, I did like how messy the emotions were.

Additionally, I believed that this would end in a throuple (not love triangle) and was a bit disappointed when it didn't end that way.

(I almost DNF'd this, thinking I had already read it but nope! For once, it was not a re-read, lol)

I absolutely loved Hidemasa. He was honest, communicative, kind, earnest. Lovely all round. The ml, I hated. Trash man. But our mc wanted him and got him. Ml lied, pressured the mc sexually, and hid his feelings so to appear cool. Wonderful, right? 😬🥴 the mc deserved better, but whatever. Plus we kinda got demisexual representation?? In my headcanon AU Hidemasa is endgame.

Aarrgghhh, I really don’t like the ending Dentou-sensei chose! C’mon, we need a Hidemasa side story—he totally deserves more spotlight.

Honestly, I would've given it a higher rating if Kouki ended up happily with Hidemasa. But since he got back with Jou, well ... I guess it's fine.
