“Brilliant storytelling packed with a powerful emotional punch, it’s been years since I’ve been so invested in a book.” - #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken

Winston Constantine is the cold-hearted CEO of Halcyon Industries. I'm the new maid he's about to fire. Until he comes up with an outrageous proposition.

I should use him to pay for college without thinking twice, but there's more to him than the calculating businessman. There's more to him than sensual demands. I shouldn't fall for him, but there's something I didn't know before I accepted the first payment... Constantines play for keeps.

SKYSCRAPER CINDERELLA is the complete modern Cinderella trilogy, including Stroke of Midnight, Prince Charming, and The Glass Slipper. The fairy tale you know and love... With a scorching hot twist!

Three books in one
STROKE OF MIDNIGHT

Kinky!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ❤️💙💜💛🖤
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📔📙
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌎
Character development: 👤👤👤👤👤

The Hero(s): Winston Constantine – CEO, Wealthy, Alpha male dominant with a side of kink. Win has a younger brother named Perry and his family have some sort of bitter rivalry with the Morelli family who killed Winston and Perry’s father.

The heroine: Ash Elliot – Her father married a famous plastic surgeon named Manda Manford with hot but evil triplets who like to think that their new stepsister belongs to them.

The Love Story: Ash has a job as a cleaning woman at the Halcyon Building that is owned by the Constantine’s and house their corporate offices. Ash is working as a cleaning lady because her father spent her college fund on his new wife. Winston makes Ash an offer she can’t refuse.

There were things about this story I didn’t like. I knew going in that Winston likes darkness and I know that there are many people in the BDSM lifestyle that get off on erotic humiliation, but some of the things Winston liked were not erotic. He just liked to see Ash embarrassed. I don’t get it. I mean he made her wear high heels that were very high when she couldn’t walk in heels, because he wanted to see her stumbling and falling in public. Not that I get why people like erotic humiliation (like being called names, treated as pets, etc..). I never got that either, but I know it is a thing.

Aside from that, I really liked this book. I liked that Win and Ash were into some kinky things. I liked that despite thinking Winston was a bit of a perv, Ash was into the kink. Though she did have conflicting feelings, they were more about the fact that she liked the things Win did to her or had her do and not that she was feeling forced or anything like that. I also really loved the storyline.

PRINCE CHARMING

Cinderelliot at the ball!

The Hero(s): Winston Constantine - his father was killed 5 years ago and his enemies, the Morelli’s were apparently at fault. Win is wealthy, elite and a bit depraved. He likes control and erotic humiliation. He has two brothers and a sister and he wants to keep his “relationship” with Ash a secret because he thinks his mother won’t approve and will run Ash off.

The heroine: Ash Elliot - wants to save money for college and to get away from her family which includes 3 evil stepbrothers (triplets). Winston pays her for all the kinky things they do together. She was a maid in his office building when he caught her swirling around in his chair instead of working and they have been doing crazy things ever since.

The Love Story: Prince Charming takes Cinderelliot to the ball in this book and many things are similar to the original fairytale but some are so deliciously different. The pumpkin/carriage is a much different ride, the step-sisters are bothers, the fairy godmother is named Perry, and the midnight curfew is all too real.

I loved all the similarities and differences to the classic fairytale, it was pretty cool each time one cropped up. There were things I disliked about the book, however those were person preference things not the writing of the story. Winston is nearly twice her age, I think he was 37 and she was 18. It isn’t that I am not into the older man thing, it is more in my own head that I keep thinking how women usually outlive men and then the fact that he is twenty years older.

I keep thinking how both my grandma’s lived into their 90s and both grandpa’s only their 70’s and they were the same age as their spouses. Though I know that most women don’t live into their nineties, they do live about 5 years longer than men on average, so that is a long time without your soulmate if he is that much older to begin with.

Despite that fact. Winston is super kinky and smoking hot. I loved the fact that he wants to keep Ash at arm’s length because he knows that eventually will get bored with her but his inner voice or the devil on his shoulder keeps whispering the truth in his ear about what he really wants. I just love it when a guy has an inner voice that is smart and witty.

There is also some mystery, intrigue and some detractors that think Ash is beneath Winston. There are secrets and a bunch of other people trying to get in the way of what is going on between Win and Ash. It was such a good story and despite the kink, there is actually quite a bit of romance between Winston and Ash. I am dying to find out what happens next!

GLASS SLIPPER

“She tastes like cherry Starbursts and forever.”

“I’m Winston motherfucking Constantine.
Hard. Cold. Impenetrable.”

The heroine: Ash Elliot (a.k.a. Cinderelliot) - Ash was a maid in the building where Win is the CEO of the Company. She has been harassed by Leo Morelli for weeks and hasn’t told Winston.

The Hero(es): Winston Constantine (a.k.a. Win) - Win and his family have many enemies, but mainly the Morelli’s whom he thinks may have murdered his father.

The Love Story: Win likes his Kink and has been paying Ash for all sorts of kinky acts. Ash has now got more than enough money to go to college plus a bunch of extras, like a car and a yacht. Though she has fallen in love with Win, and he won’t admit to having any feelings for her.

There is a lot to love about this book and the entire series. For starters though Ash is only eighteen, she is a strong and intelligent character. She is extremely likable and she makes Winston more likable because of his reactions to her quirky character. He has these inner thoughts like a devil on his shoulder about how she is not his girlfriend and how he isn’t falling for her and more, then he also has this angel on his other shoulder that calls him a liar every time he thinks that way.

Another thing that was great about the book was Ash’s relationship with Perry Constantine, who is Winston’s brother. Perry and Ash became fast friends when they first met and he is quite a character as well. Their banter and the way he is there for her is terrific.

I also enjoyed the steamy scenes and the fact that Win and Ash are quite kinky and both of them own it. Sure Win is paying her to do things and it could seem a bit like prostitution, but to them it is a game. Throughout the series Ash gives him money back for things that show his affection to her.

“For the record,” she whispers, “I’d give you back all that money in my bank, the college fund, the car, the boat, everything for dinner at my place.”

Another thing I just love in books is when one or both of the protagonists has a pet. I love animals and they just add something to the world building. Ash has a bird named Shrimp, and though I am not familiar with birds, I just love it when there is a pet with a personality to add to the story. Though since she leaves his cage open, I kept wondering if he uses his cage as a bathroom or if bird poo is all over, but I googled it and I guess you can cage train birds. So that calmed my nerves with regard to that situation.

The one thing I didn’t like about this book was the fact that Winston is 37 and Ash is 18, it wasn’t so much the age gap that bothered me (though I think that was a bit too much of a gap. I would have liked it better if he was 34 and she 20. The thing that bothered me was that they kept making a joke of the fact that she was still a teenager. She also kept calling him old man. All the joking about it just made it seem like it bothered them a lot more than the pretended and the joking made it seem all the more depraved, but not in a good way. Though this only took a small amount off my story points.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4 'Cinderelliott' Stars!

I am definitely already obsessed with the Midnight Dynasty collection and I am decided to read as many of the books as I can because I am so curious about this world created by Dangerous Press and a whole array of amazing authors. I read several books by several authors about the Constantines and Morellis and I decided to finally start with I believe is considered the first couple in this collection.

Skyscraper Cinderellla actually is a box set of the three books in K Webster's Cinderella series and it's all about the dark and kinky relationship between Wiston Constantine and Ash Elliott. It's kind of an age-gap, boss/maid theme and boy! These two are definitely kinky AF. But there is also this sweet side to them that always gets me! I loved seeing them finally get their HEA and I can't wait to read even more books about this world because, as I said, it's absolutely addicting!!

I am soo confused as to why everyone here is gushing over this book. The main girl character is 18 (just turned btw) and they guy we are all supposed to ship her with is 35?!? Her dad is literally 2 YEARS older than him !!! and at some point in the beginning he's like ohh even if she's underage she'll be bouncing off my d**k ?!? and the author has this weird fixation about the age gap that just makes it 100x more creepier. The amount of times I rolled my eyes at the writing, I'm surprised that my eyes aren't permanently damaged. The author tries soo hard to make both the main characters cool that they just come off as corny try hards. I swear if you got passed chapter 3 on this one I OWE YOU a drink. I'm surprised the author was a girl this book is giving heavy male gave/male perspective.

There’s nothing better than 3 fan-freaking-tastic books all packaged up in one pretty package!

Here's what you get:
Stroke of Midnight
Prince Charming
Glass Slipper

All three books in the Winston and Ash's series are combined for an amazing binge read experience. This Cinderella is not at all what you’re expecting if you’re thinking of the Disney version. It’s sexy, smutty, and downright dirty at times. And I was here for every single second of it.

K. Webster is such a brilliant and vibrant storyteller. I could see hints of the original throughout this novel, but it completely stands on its own. Each book is unlike anything I’ve read before and I was beyond thrilled and entertained at the end.

Winston is a hard edged man who doesn’t ever intend to fall in love. His duty to his family and father’s legacy is paramount, until Ash Elliott enters his life and changes everything. In the very first book, their chemistry explodes off the page. From there we see the evolution of not only the characters, but their relationship and ties to those they thought were family. At the end, these two have forged a completely new family unit and what a wild ride it was.

Here’s what I loved:
Ash loves hard and doesn’t allow Winston’s cold demeanor to deter. Like ever! She’s a staunch believer in their connection and fights tooth and nail for him.

The bigger they are; the harder they fall. That’s basically how Winston falls in love. Hard!
The scenes with the bird were the cherry on top. I loved it!

Ash’s Team Constantine quips and she basically makes them all fall in love with her we’re quite enjoyable. I particularly loved the interactions between her and Winny’s mom.

Keaton and Perry. Swoon!

The steamy bits were HAWT!

Overall, this was just my jam! I loved everything about it!
Recommended to readers who enjoying kinky reads, age-gap romance, and sexy billionaires.

This was a wild ride. It is billionare age gap romance. There were all kinds of moments in trilogy-sad,happy,fun and mystery kept me on edge. I like perry i hope he get his book soon. Perry and ash has amazing funny chemistry. The family moments were super fun to read. The story of ash and win is perfect billionare romance and i liked how he was broody and hard untill the end whereas ash was spoilt and sassy. They didn’t change their personalities as the story progress, only character development follows.some of The secrets were obvious but some of them were shocking. I think there were more to uncover.

Read trigger warning before reading as it contains humiliation and daddy kink not BDSM.

I’m wrecked that this story has come to an end!! Drop everything and go read this trilogy today so we can commiserate together. You have never read a Cinderella story like this!! Ash Elliott may be young but this woman is wise beyond her years. She’s learned how to read people and understands that dirty, vile words don’t always mean hate or disgust. And the same can be said for flowery words, as they don’t always portray good intentions. Ash is secure in herself as a person and owns her actions. Scandals be damned.

"𝑰’𝒎 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑰 𝒂𝒎. 𝑰𝒇 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒏, 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈." - 𝑨𝒔𝒉

I don’t even know how to explain the emotions this book pulled out of me. Witnessing Ash strip herself bare for Winston to destroy then put back together was breathtaking. To allow yourself to be that vulnerable with someone is a gift in itself. And Winston doesn’t take Ash’s submission for granted.

Growing up and learning that home and family aren’t the safest things for you is devastating. Amanda Manford and her sons, dubbed the Terror Triplets, have turned Ash’s home life into a literal nightmare. The wrath that’s delivered upon them is everything I love about a good revenge plot. Placing all their treasonous acts aside, my dark bully loving heart is hoping the triplets get a RH story with a girl who controls them mind, body, and soul. Someone who tortures them as much as they do others.

"𝑨𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍, 𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅." - 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏

Speaking of bullies, if you’ve been thirsting for a more grown up take on the troupe, Winston Constantine is akin to an adult version you’ll crave and swoon over. This man will forever be etched in my memory. His hard exterior didn’t fool me. His love for Shrimp, that little pink bird, is what gave him away as a softy long before he admitted it to himself or his girl. His kinks may not be for everyone, he enjoys humiliation and degradation play, with a side of exibitionism. And there's this one scene at a table, in a bar, during the day with a frilly dress...I mean hot, HOT, hooootttt!! Yet this isn’t the entire story. There is so much more going on than love and lust.

"𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒂 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒆. 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒓...𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆’𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆." - 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏

It’s interesting to see the dynamics between the families and assumptions each holds. A war that was started by two fathers has been passed down to the two eldest sons. A family that seemed built on love and trust was decimated by an interloper for personal gain. A relationship that’s been cultivated over nearly a lifetime has turned sour due to greed and envy. There are so many secrets to unveil.

There’s a beautiful epilogue that shows a glimpse into the future. And when I thought it couldn't get any better K Webster dropped a Bonus Scene from their wedding night!! Make sure you snag it from her website, you will not want to miss reading Happily Ever After. This is one story I plan to keep on my shelves, signed, and reread often.

Winston Constantine is not a Prince Charming in this story. He is a villain. He rules the city with an iron fist when Ash shows up in his office as the new cleaning lady, dropping her cherry starburst wrappers and shaking up his life.

She is nothing at all like what he is usually attracted to. She is a teenager, full of snark and sass, with a kink for shame and embarrassment. Seriously, the sex positivity in this book is off the charts. But it’s all about the author and how they can spin a tale. I have read authors who just totally botch kinks and you spend the entire book rolling your eyes or cringing. Not with K. Webster’s Skyscraper Cinderella. Nope!! She empowers Ash’s character. She has created a woman who is strong and owns her sexuality and I love it!!

Throughout these three books in this boxed set, we follow Winston and Ash as they learn more about each other and themselves in the process. We get to see much more of the Constantine family (who I am becoming slightly obsessed with) and get to ride the roller coaster that is this trilogy. This set is sexy as sin romantic suspense with dark evil plots and the most satisfying retribution!

-Stroke Of Midnight
(3.8 Stars)
Winston Constantine is the head of the Constantine family. Running Halcyon, he is a ruthless, powerful and a very twisted alpha. When a new employee, Ash Elliot, accidentally leaves something behind, Winston wants only one thing...To punish the newbie and play her like a fiddle. Ash needs help financially and when she gets offered an unusual but lucrative deal she hesitantly accepts. Winston craves order and control but will he be able to control Ash? A wickedly dark and taboo, age gap, modern fairy tale retelling that will have you picking up your jaw off the floor. Winston is one dirty, dirty boy! Oh and this end in quite the cliffhanger. Told In dual POV

-Prince Charming
(5 Stars)
Are you ready to go back to this crazy world? This picks up right where Stroke of Midnight left us at Winston’s Birthday Soirée. Winston Constantine is still as dirty as ever but his walls are chipping around his heart. All because of one fiesty 18 yr old named Ash Elliot. Can he protect her from all of the dangers that surround her including those pesky step brothers? I love that we see a softer side to Winston and his family. Oh and Ash’s Gift for Winston 😂 So Good!! Their banter and chemistry is off the charts! If you love a good taboo, age gap, billionaire dark retelling, then you’re going to love this! Get your pumpkin colored ride ready for part 2 of this Cinderella dark retelling but don’t get too comfy...This ends in yet another cliffhanger!! Told in dual POV

-The Glass Slipper
(5 Stars)
Prepare yourself for the epic ending of The Cinderella Trilogy. Ash Elliot and Winston Constance pick up right where the gripping cliffhanger left off. With trust ruined and secrets coming out, can Winston and his Cinderelliot truly make it out on the other side together? Lies, scandals, revenge take center stage in this twisted fairytale retelling. Are you ready for more Winston and his ahem...unique tastes? Wow, I devoured this one so fast! Winston and Ash are perfect together along with all the side characters. There are so many twists you won’t be able to put this down until you find out what’s revealed. This is part of the midnight dynasty collection and Told in dual POV

I love book bundles, for the simple reason that I don’t have to worry about anything ending with a cliffhanger. K. Webster brought us 𝑺𝒌𝒚𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂, grouping 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒊𝒅𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 and 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝑺𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒓 all in one book.

I had read and reviewed each one of these separately, but I had to come up here and talk about it again. This billionaire romance, with not only an age gap but also one hell of social one, is an angsty, funny, kinky and dark modern Cinderella retelling. Ash and her bubbly personality, despite her effed up stepfamily was like a ray of sunshine that just fell into wealthy, powerful, brooding CEO Winston Constantine’s lap. The literal dominant alpha male character with a specific kink, that shocked the socks off me right at the beginning of the book. I was NOT expecting that. Winston and Ash’s relationship is a particular one, an unusual one that probably isn’t for everyone, but it was hot A F! It started with a mutual agreement that was beneficial for both, that was enjoyed by both, that slowly starting to shift into more… despite Winston trying to fight it.

I was there for all that heat, the funny quirky banter, Ash’s delightful personality, Win’s ruthlessness, all the angst, the characters and the plot development. Because not only did we get the effed up stepfamily from actual hell, and for this I have to congratulate the author for creating a character that I loathed with all my being, but we also got the more traditional villain, since let’s face it, Winston Constantine is not exactly Prince Charming… just give me all the villains!

I mentioned above that this one might not be for everyone, there’s a level of… I don’t even know how to describe it. It was hard to get into it, but I understood it. Their relationship was based on a kink, but both were into it, and I loved how their relationship progressed, the development was on point and I enjoyed every second of the storyline.

Another aspect of the books I loved was the sense of family loyalty. The Constantine family is ruthless once one of their members is threatened, they are almost diabolical with their plans and it was the sweetest moment when Ash was accepted and brought into their circle. Perry, Win’s younger brother was my favorite, he was the representation of Cinderella’s fairy godmother, sweet, funny, supportive but when it was needed he rose to the family name!

All in all, it was a wild ride, there were similarities to the fairytale, with the stepfamily, the ball, but I loved how the author took it and made it all her own, with the couple’s relationship, with the Morelli rival family and so much more.

Beware of the trigger warnings, and be ready to fall for the antihero, far from being Prince Charming, Winston Constantine. (I can’t call him villain because I’m reserving that title for Leo Morelli)

I loved rereading Win and Ash’s story!! The books are not long and I remembered a few things about their story so it took me little time to finish it.

Can’t wait to read more about the Constantine and Morelli’s feud and read about the rest of the siblings.

Fantastic!

I really enjoyed this series. This dark romance had angst, deceit, betrayal, lots of panty melting scenes, humour and love of family. I felt bad for the way Ash was treated by her family. She was strong and was able to stand her ground with Winston. I highly recomend this series!

First read was 12/15/2023, but I just finished a reread today 09/03/2025. I read pretty much exclusively MM books for the past year and a half. But I remembered liking this and wanted to try it again. I absolutely adored it, definitely deserved all 5 stars. you kinda have to just lean into it and not think too much about it because it's kinda wild and over the top. But the banter is so freaking well done!!! I adore Ash and her constant wittiness. Also this has a decent amount of spice (humiliation/degradation are the big kinks), but it isn't as spicy as I remembered. It has plenty of plot and is just a fun time!

This is the entire deliciously decadent trilogy

Stroke of Midnight Book 1
Nooooo!
This ends on one hellacious stomach-turning soul-crushing cliffy!
But never fear our heroine has no intention of prostrating herself to the whims of another.
Unless before mentioned prostrating is before a handsome overly possessive cruel, and unattainable CEO.

Winston and Ash are deliciously deviant together -
As in melt your panties, rubber sheets Hot!
He degrades her with a skill and competence that feeds her darker desire for humiliation while also providing her with feelings of importance and love. A hard line to walk but he does it with such grace...

She sates his need to conquer and destroy as well as his rarer need to provide and care for another.

The kicker?
They both feed on the deprivation
They are mirror images of the others need

So everything is going smoothly with Winston and Ash until -
A sadistic trio decide to reinforce their claim on Ash
An old enemy spies a weakness
A greedy step monster sees a chance to move up the ladder - on someone else's back mind you
Secrets are stolen -
Lives are threatened and choices that are truly not choices are put into play

Can our little Ash find the strength to save her not-so knightly prince?

This is a very very adult fairytale -
For those who delight in the darker flavors -- Enjoy

Prince Charming Book 2
I don't care that it's a little out there -
That it most definitely falls in the fairytale category -
That our hero -
A villain who hides his marshmallowy goodness behind a sinister sneer -
Is ruthless.
Prides himself on his superiority, his cruelty
- or -
That he is a dirty-minded manipulator -

I love that our heroine is all in for the win -
An angel who enjoys getting dirty -
That she still believes in herself and the dream -

Because together?
They are flawless - Unstoppable
They make me laugh -
They make me feel

I loathe the triplets something fierce but dang does Win deliver them their just desserts - Holy Schnikeys!!
Ash's dad is finally seeing but yet he still seems to miss the big pic
The selfish stepmother looks like she is about to get her comeuppance
Win you know you do - stop looking for excuses.
Ash don't let go -
Leo, you are not as smart as you think you are
Win's mom what are you up to? What secrets are you hiding?

This continues right where we left off and things only get a whole lot dirty and a touch more twisted. Some eyes are opened. Some lives are altered. And I think Momma Win has a secret.
This ends on a betrayal (?) that had me screaming "Open your eyes, you fool!!"

The Glass Slipper Book 3
Fracking YES!!!
Team Constantine for the win!

" No baby, we're not good. That's not who we are. We're bad, but don't worry, we're really, really good at it. "

The best couple of 2021

This is how a rewritten adult fairy tale should read.
All the magic of possibility combined with suspense sprinkled with laughter and dosed in a whole lot of dirty

Winston and Ash are at a standoff
Winny is mad but I think it is more at himself than at his Cinderelliott
Ash did what she felt was right she would trade everything to protect her Win
Now she just needs to get him to open his eyes to the truth before Leo keeps his threat and destroys them both

Each scathing and unexpected event seems to trigger another - A bit like dominos - as things snowball around them they both find they are forced to face certain truths
Some they are prepared for others not so much

Friends soon show themselves to be the enemy and enemies become nothing but cannon fodder for team Constantine
And the hits just keep coming

I laughed
I cried
I got really really mad
And I swooned -
I want my own " black hole sucking everything into his void" boss/sugar daddy/boyfriend 😍
This is one of those trilogies I will read over and over

K Webster! You naughty, naughty girl. I’m pretty sure Walt Disney is rolling over in his grave somewhere, because the fairy god mother of taboo has just sprinkled her kinky fairy dust all over the story of Cinderella , transforming that tired old pumpkin into a showstopping erotic age gap triumph- a true belle of the dark and twisted ball. AND I AM HERE FOR THIS!

This creative and inspired modern day Cinderella story whisked me away to another world, and quite frankly, I never want to leave it With the wave of her wand, K Webster takes the sugary sweet and endlessly optimistic original story and warps it into a salacious and erotic sensation-it’s a lot more naughty, way more angsty, but still, in the end, beautiful optimistic. This is my kind of fairy tale- and I genuinely don’t think another fairy tale retelling will ever live up to this fantastic series. Bibbity-bobbity- TABOO.

Our Cinderella doesn’t leave behind a fragile and delicate slipper- oh no- she leaves behind a sticky, bold red candy wrapper- and that comparison tells you everything you need to know about how K Webster has added her unique taboo flair to this classic fairy tale. Our anti-prince Winston is lured in by that rogue wrapper, bringing our heroine Ash quickly into his web. Winston is intrigued that this young girl doesn’t cower under his thrall, and he quickly discovers her kinks are a great match for his- she just doesn’t know it yet. Capitalizing on Ash’s urgency to recapture her crumbling dreams, he strikes an unusual deal- a very erotic one. The villain finds his naughty princess- and while they explore their unusual and delicious perversions they also develop a turbulent and perplexing chemistry. And this chemistry is heavy- it wrapped around me and consumed me. Winston must confront that his feelings for Ash are beyond anything he’s experienced, and Ash finds herself in the precarious position of craving her tormentor- of liking the debauched things they do.

This is very much a loose adaptive approach - more of a reconceptualization than a retelling, but we have just enough referential content to keep the story familiar. The droll and nameless Prince Charming is transformed into the unforgettable Winston Constantine- a powerful alpha-hole who thrives on control and has a taste for some very particular kinks. He’s not the white knight who saves the princess- he’s a dark and ruthless villain that wants to break her down just so he can control building her back up again. And this anti-prince charming has a dirty mouth that would make a sailor blush. I sure did. Our Cinderella is the young, hard on her luck but highly ambitious, 18 year old Ash. Like Cinderella she’s trapped in a reality she doesn’t desire, resilient in the face of her upended life but somewhat defeated and entirely alone. But, Ash is no princess- she’s sassy and resourceful. Daring, bold, yet vulnerable and naive. And the man old enough to be her father is both her salvation and demise- the original Cinderella would be mortified.

No Cinderella story is complete without the wicked stepmother, here a conniving and manipulative social climber. And in one of my favorite tweaks, K Webster transforms the wicked stepsisters into the Terror triplets, twisted deviants who love torturing their prey- their stepsister. Of course, we still have our young Cinderella going from riches to rags thanks to the poor romantic choices of her father, a girl too captivating to be cleaning, an ethereal dress fit for a princess, and a birthday party that doubles as a ball. K Webster even nods to Cinderella’s love for talking animals with the brilliantly named Shrimp- Ash’s chirpy bird.

This story is most certainly entertaining- and like all K Webster books, DEFIANTLY titillating. And that is what I love so much about K Webster’s point of view. She’s not provocative just because- she’s provocative because she wants to push our boundaries. And time and time again- taboo or not- she does. She gives us stories that are outside of the mainstream, characters with chemistry and interests that don’t fit our carefully constructed little boxes for what is “acceptable” romance- what fantasies are “normal.” K Webster doesn’t just open those boxes- she annihilates them, forcing us to step outside of those artificial restraints. She normalizes the different, the taboo- she siphons out the shame and judgement and makes it art- and that is quite liberating. Because here, in Stroke of Midnight, you can’t help but be sucked in to this story- into the mesmerizing kinky perversion. It shocks you- makes you blush, makes you a bit uneasy, but it also intrigues and arouses. And soon we, like sweet Ash, are confused- by our own desires, that we are delighting in what others would call perverted, what we perhaps considered perverted. And isn't that exactly what erotic fantasy should do? It’s not only delicious fun, but intellectually fascinating - and why I keep coming back to her stories over and over again.

I’m so sad this series is over- I have RELISHED it. But alas, the stroke of midnight has arrived, the ball is over, and our Cinderelliot gets to go home in the pumpkin to her prince at long last…..but we’ll always have this little bit of magic.

Stroke of Midnight 5/5

Holy sugar and spice and everything not nice! Maybe I didn't read the synopsis of this book all that carefully because I didn't expect this level of kink and hotness! If we used pepper spice levels, this is ghost pepper hot. Winston Constantine is a very exacting business owner. Everything in his life is orderly, so orderly that he could tell right off the bat that someone was in his office that shouldn't have been. Eighteen-year-old Ash Elliott is working for a maintenance company and is tasked to clean Winston's offices. When he catches her slacking off on his security camera, he's ready to make her pay. What he didn't expect was that she could hold her own against him. Whoooo weeeee the things these two did. A little on the forbidden side since he's old enough to be her father. Looks like Winston has met his match with Ash! Damn that cliffhanger!

Prince Charming 5/5

I didn't take myself for gravitating towards dark romance, but... wow! K Webster has taken me down a rabbit hole of epic proportions! Winston Constantine is no Prince Charming even if he likens Ash Elliott to Cinderella, or Cinderelliott as he calls her. Ash has learned some savage negotiation skills. Looks like Winston has met his match! It's too bad her three evil stepbrothers, AKA the Terror Triplets, mar her dark and erotic fairytale world. Her evil stepmother isn't any better. Lucky for Ash, she's got Winston on her side. And thank goodness her dad is wizening up. Is Winston's black and icy heart thawing out? Something about Ash just gets under his skin, but does he want her out or in? Another cliffhanger!!! Now I'm craving more in this exotic world.

Glass Slipper 5/5

Usually by now I’ve lost interest in a story if it’s been drawn out to a trilogy. Not this one. Ash and Winston kept me on my toes, had me wanting more, and get me everything I needed and more. She’s not your typical eighteen-year-old. We’ve learned a lot about her family life and history in the first two books, which have made her a stronger, feistier fighter. She gives Winston as good as he gives her. The age gap vanishes when they’re going toe to toe. She has her moments of being just as immature as her peers; she is 18 after all. He just may very well be the first person to see all of her, body and soul. All of these things together make them perfect for each other. The author slayed me with her powerful words that kept me hooked. I’m sad to see this story end.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

I love these box sets because we get to read the stories until the conclusion. Skyscraper Cinderella includes 3 books that were previously published, a trilogy that definitely made me take notice. As the title denotes, this is a contemporary Cinderella story, although in my reading, I feel like there's a bit of Beauty and the Beast as well.

Winston Constantine is a very rich, very powerful man. He gets anything he wants and what he wants is Ash Elliott. This is an age-gap romance, with Ash being only 18 years old and Winston being closer to 40. This is also a dark romance- Winston would be considered, in my opinion, an anti-hero who literally pays Ash to do things that are degrading. Throughout the story, their relationship is tested, especially when one of Winston's enemies realizes that Ash is Winston's weakness.

The story and the world is well fleshed out and the overall feeling of the book was exciting and very sensual. It was great to see the sparks of goodness in Winston and how he grew across this book. Ash was a young girl who had a huge lot of problems and I liked how she rose above her issues. She was written well; Ash had a spine of steel and the banter between her and Winston was really fun to read. Overall, a great read, although it felt longer and there were some areas that felt a little too extended. Additionally, it was a bit unbelievable- in this day and age, the type of abuse she suffered from her stepbrothers should have been reported, if not by Ash herself, then I can't image any of her acquaintances wouldn't step up. But if you want a dark, really really steamy (in a kind of bent way) romance, this book is a great one to read and enjoy! I received an early copy of this book.

Absolutely brilliant! A terrific Cinderella retelling in this spectacular Midnight Dynasty anthology where there’s a nasty Constantine vs. Morelli feud that is a thread in all the stories. This story isn’t quite as dark as some of the others and it has an irreverent humor along with the utterly filthy romance. Dirty old man Winston and barely legal Ash sets up for a fantastic age gap romance. He’s the head of his family’s dynasty and she’s forced into a new one with a horrible stepmother and three terrible stepbrothers. The Terror Triplets are so hateful to Ash but they’re terrific villains. This starts out hot and gets hotter as Winston talks Ash into a mutually beneficial relationship that’s so dirty it’s funny but also incredibly HOT. I loved when Winston told Ash that when one “is rich as f**k, not much excites you anymore. When you find something that does, you obsess over it.” And oh boy does he obsess over Ash. Dirty, nasty filthy obsession. I read the first release and this re-read was just as good. I’ve read all of the anthology stories to date and I’ve got to say the authors did an admirable job with character consistency. But the Leo Morelli in this story is quite different from his trilogy and I fell in love with this villain. A must read!

I have a new book boyfriend. I'm sure he has been previously claimed, but that's okay. I'll share. I freaking love Winston Constantine. So much. Its absolutely true love for me. I haven't felt this way about a fictional character in a long time. He's so,  just,  YUM!

He's dirty, protective, arrogant and cold. But, even though he hides it well, he's generous, vulnerable, a bit sensitive and emotionally immature. And for some reason that crazy combination works.

And watching Ash grow into her confidence and strength throughout the series is awesome. She starts off a little weak and jaded. But she's aware of the power she yields by the third book. And she's just the perfect match for our reluctant prince charming.

This book series is so well written. I couldn't put it down. There's plenty of twists and turns, old feuds, new vendettas, some violence, humor, steam, and a bird named Shrimp. It is all the things. AND I LOVED IT EVERY PAGE!

This is a crazy hot fairy tale retelling. And the perfect addition to the Midnight Dynasty World.

This was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I'm glad I read it. I'm not into the whole humiliation thing, so I'd never really read it before and especially not to this degree, but it helped that Ash was completely okay with it, even liked it. Winston was all hard edges, doing everything he could to drive his family's empire as well as protect them, so when Ash came along with her strength, passion, and happy nature, she completely took him by surprise. There was a lot of action in have due to Ash's stepbrothers terrorizing her, Winston's company being threatened, and Ash and Winston building their totally crazy relationship, and I couldn't put it down. I loved Winston's siblings, and they really added a nice familial aspect, which Ash really needed due to her awful situation. I did guess who the ultimate villain was, but it didn't stop me from reading this in two days. And that's saying something because between the big age gap and the humiliation thing, this easily could've went very wrong for me.

The Cinderella trilogy is the reason I decided to dive into more of K. Webster’s work. I had been curious for a long time, but upon reading the first book in the series I was hooked. In fact, the three books contained within Skyscraper Cinderella are arguably my favourite K. Webster books.

I’ll admit that the series will not be for everyone. It’s dark and dirty, and oh-so-wrong, but that is what makes it so addictive. There is plenty packed into the story to keep the reader turning the pages, ensuring they’re hooked on every detail that played out. With each new element, I fell deeper for the characters and the story. I confess that it was not perfect – there were some details that were a little too easy and predictable – but it made for a highly addictive read and I could not get enough.

Without a doubt, this series is a must-read for anyone willing to take a risk.

I loved Cinderella as a young girl I still love the story now, but this definitely isn't a story for the young!
If you love a story with heat, honest kink, a wealthy Alpha and a head strong heroine then this collection is for you!
I didn't connect with all aspects of the story but that's the great thing about books you don't have to, to enjoy them and enjoy it I did.
Humiliation and degradation aren't something I necessarily enjoy in any form but it didn't deter me from enjoying this retelling. Ash and Winston's chemistry is electrifying and having the whole story at my fingertips made it that much better! The world created around them is dark and delicious and definitely worth a read.

This was a great trilogy of books for a different take on the Cinderella story.

Webster's books are always on the more naughty side and this book definitely fulfilled that. I enjoyed the relationship between Winston and Ash. There were some moments that were way too much but it was interesting to read.

I liked the friendship between Perry and Ash. The characters were developed well and the writing was good.

I really like how all three books are in one book so you can binge the whole story without waiting for the next book.

This book is definitely not for the faint of heart and sweet romances but it was definitely enjoyable.

I received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and options are my own.

Let me start off by saying I’m an absolute S L U T for Disney reimaginings. I love them! They are one of my favorite things to read. This book is the complete collection of all three books for the Cinderella Series. I’ve been meaning to read these books and I’m grateful to have had the chance to get this collection as an ARC. This collection was freaking great! I’m so happy that I read this collection as a whole. I don’t know if I would have survived by reading and waiting for them to come out one at a time. It was hot, spicy as hell, kinky, and very questionable. Worth the read for sure.

Individual reviews for each book coming soon!!

This trilogy was outstanding!! I don’t know what took me so long to read these books because Winston Constantine is fucking amazing. His dirty mouth, his wicked ways, he’s diabolical, and I love him! The banter in this book kept me laughing and shocked and blushing. Ash is perfection. She is his match, they heat up every page in these books. I am such a huge fan of all of K Webster’s books but these are by far my favorite.. top read of 2021 for sure!

I really enjoyed these books!! I was craving for a billionaire romance that was all about the spoiling. I loved the banter between Ash and Win so much. I don't usually like age gap...especially a gap that big but i really really enjoyed this trilogy! The plot was well done and kept me intrigued and the spice was sooo hot. Omg. Exactly what I needed.
I finished a book a day! I've never read that fast.

These books ended up being more than I expected. The story was one of the best ones I've read all year. I love it when a book grabs my attention so much that all I want to do is sit and read it all day.  These books were that for me and more.
