I enjoy age-gap romance and this one is an older woman/younger man with 15 years between them and a one night stand with a surprise for them both. Filled with emotion, Not Seeking Mr. Right was an engaging story.

The last thing Ginny Colburn expected to see in the parking lot of the country club where her cousin was getting married was a really nice a$$, but that’s exactly what she saw and when he turned around even covering himself with a pair of pants the rest of his body looked just as good. Younger than her by quite a bit, Ginny couldn’t help but be a bit happy when she caught him staring at her when she bent over to pick up the shoes he’d tossed. Josh Anderson knew the beautiful woman with the smart mouth and quick wit was older than him but age was only a number, making a decision he stayed close as he served drinks during the wedding she was attending and when he saw the right moment he swooped in for a dance and to let her ex-boyfriend know he’d screwed up. One thing led to another and they promised only one night, but life had other plans.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit and felt that despite their age difference Ginny and Josh had a lot in common. Josh was more mature than most people his age and had a good head on his shoulders and had goals about the type of job he would take. Finding out he was going to be a dad kind of threw a wrench in things and Ginny basically telling him she could and would do it on her own didn’t sit well with him. There was a lot of conflict between them about how they would proceed and with Josh actively looking for a job out of Lakeside; Ginny knew that she wouldn’t hold him back no matter if she developed feelings. She also wouldn’t agree to marry him or believe him when he told her he loved her. For me that got a bit old and it seemed like they were on this never ending merry-go-round. I hated that the town was not kind to their relationship and the insinuation Ginny used Josh because her biological clock was ticking. While I was happy with the outcome of this book, I needed more time with them actually together to love this book. I needed more time with them as a couple and less time with them being at odds.

Not Seeking Mr. Right was enjoyable despite it being angst filled and had characters that I really liked; I can’t wait to see what’s next for the single ladies of Lakeside!

I received this ARC for an honest review.

I really liked this story, the characters were funny at times and also serious. The story has Ginny, a forty-year-old woman arriving at a wedding shower not wanting to go in but noticing a naked guy dressing in the parking lot. Getting her attention right away she goes towards him and once he finishes dressing they introduce themselves, she helps with his tie and yet they each find the other attractive.
Though Josh is working the event he continues to look for Ginny and when they are free he finds her to dance. When he finds out about her ex they agree to one stand in order for her to wipe away her ex. Weeks later though she finds herself pregnant after telling Josh and saying no to his proposal the story still has many fine moments between the two of them with her learning to cook from him and going to yoga which she never thought she would do. Though he is still in love with her after the third proposal and yet another rejection, he leaves once again. She, of course, being older than his twenty-five years feels like he would be giving up his dream and she wants him to go, not realizing that maybe she and the baby are his dreams now. This book will keep you going from page to page once you start it and with all of the characters in the book you have enough to like and dislike as you go along. A very good story about life and very much worth the read.

Like enemies to friends, I enjoy reading second-chance romances, or spring-autumn romances. This one is a 40 year old who has a fling with a 24 year old because she likes his butt. No really. She sees his butt when he is getting dressed in the parking lot, and is curious to see who it is attached to.

And of course she gets pregnant.

And the conflict is that this is a small town, and the young man, Josh, just graduated and wants to move on out into the big bad world. So Gin does what she thinks is best and lets him know about the pregnancy, but makes it quite clear she does not need him to stick around.

He is, of course, with all romances, the perfect guy, which makes it harder and harder to push him away.

Are ron-coms realistic? Who knows, and really should we care? The genre of romance does not have bad lovers, because that would be against everything that they have established. So we all know she and he are right for each other, even if they don't.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

This is my honest review about Not Seeking Mr. Right. I did receive an E-arc of this book from the publisher.

What happens when a one night stand with a man who is 15 years younger than you goes the way you’d never expect it to? Well that’s what happens to Ginny and the man she met at a wedding after being dumped by her now ex-boyfriend. This story was engaging from the start and I enjoyed following along with all the trails they were both put through.

This story is definitely angst filled and I felt for both Ginny and Josh. I disliked how gossipy and closed minded the town was towards Ginny and Josh’s relationships and the constant insults thrown ginnys way just because she was older than josh and everyone assumed she was using him because her “biological clock was ticking”. Ginny did get a little bit on my nerves but at the same time I understood why she did what she did and didn’t expect anything from josh and always tried to keep him at arms length especially because of how much younger he was than her.

I loved Ginnys friends and how supportive they were of her and didn’t sugarcoat or baby her. They told her when she was being dumb and always had her back no matter what. I enjoyed how the story ended and cannot wait to see what is in store with the rest of this series!

Thank you to entangled publishing & netgalley for sending me an e-arc of this book!

Ginny is 40 and is not looking forward to attending her cousin’s wedding alone as her two-year relationship with her ex ended when he decided to get back together with her ex, and they will be there. She never expected that a chance encounter with Josh, one of the bartenders, would lead to a dance that would send them down a path neither was expecting.

Josh is 25 and currently working multiple jobs as now that he has finished college, he is looking for the perfect job as a landscape architect. Both he and Ginny agreed to one night but when they find out they are pregnant it becomes a game changer, and they must decide what and who they want in their future.

Ginny and Josh were perfect for each other however their decision to put the other first causes misunderstandings and turmoil. With the help of family and friends they realize that dreams can change and that love and family is what truly matters.

"It was a really nice ass.

Firm. Totally bare. Sticking out the back door of a dented yellow Mini Cooper parked in the far corner of the Lakeside Country Club lot. Ginny Colburn wandered over to get a better look. The long legs were muscular with just the right amount of hair. The gravel in this back section of the parking lot had to be hurting his feet." Opening text, Not Seeking Mr. Right

This was my first read from this author and that opening immediately caught my attention. Ginny is dumped when her boyfriend decides to get back together with his ex-wife, but that happens before the wedding they were going to attend together. Instead, Ginny goes with her two best friends. But when she gets there, she sees a man’s naked backside sticking out of a Mini Cooper. It’s a nice ass, so she decides to investigate. Once he realizes he is being looked at, he dresses quickly. Josh is a bartender/server at this wedding. He thinks the woman eyeing him is beautiful, and they do a bit of flirting out in the parking lot but he has to get to work, and she has to attend her cousin’s wedding.

Her ex is there with his no-longer-an-ex, and her friends try to protect Ginny. But as Josh finishes his shift, he sees her looking very uncomfortable while talking to the man. He decides to ask her to dance, and one thing leads to another. Ginny is 40 years old and has decided she is done with men. They don’t treat her well, and she is too old to be bothered anymore. She decides she will just have one night stands from now on, starting with Josh. He’s all in, and they spend a glorious night together.

It’s a small town, so they run into each other now and then. He would like more, but he respects her wishes so he is surprised when she asks him to come over to talk. Turns out she’s pregnant, and he immediately asks her to marry him. She laughs at him and says that is not necessary. She is quite prepared to be a single mother, but thought he had the right to know.

They decide to be friends. Josh would like more but she is firm on the matter. He wants to be involved with his child but he is young, only 25 years old, and is recently graduated from college. He is working multiple odd jobs while he interviews for his dream job as a landscape architect. While he is waiting for his dream job, he is up front with Ginny that he will be leaving the small upstate New York town of Lakeside soon.

But while he’s still around, he wants to spend time with her. He teaches her to grocery shop and cook, instead of depending on takeout for every meal. He convinces her to try yoga because his pregnant sister swears it helps with morning sickness and delivering the baby. He cares for her and shows her that in every way.

They fall in love, and he asks her to marry him again. And again. But she refuses to admit that she’s in love with him when really she is refusing to stand in the way of his dreams, without ever giving him the option of deciding what he wants for himself.

There is a lot of foreshadowing in this story that makes it pretty obvious what will happen, but somehow, when he finds his dream job and moves away, I found myself crying. And crying again when they reach their happy ending. There is a lot of humor here, too, and I found myself smiling a lot and even laughing out loud a few times. As the kids say, this book has all the feels. I loved the older woman/younger man trope, the small town feel, and these characters. Ginny is a strong woman, and Josh is much more mature than most 25 year olds, probably due to his background. They are a great match, despite all the naysayers and gossip in their little village.

This was a super fun read! This is an author to watch.

This age gap, one night stand, surprise pregnancy book hit me with all the feels and I really enjoyed watching this relationship grow and evolve. Natasha Moore's writing is accessible, casual, lightly funny and has a quiet way of showing a range of emotion. The pace of this novel was a nice and gentle movement that spans the time of first meeting through the pregnancy and I thought this worked extremely well to show the building of the relationship between the couple and how those around them where also affected.

Ginny is a 40 year old single woman, who has recently be left by her boyfriend for his ex-wife, and she has been coming to terms that maybe having a baby and a family is not in the cards for her. Josh is a 26 year old, he has recently graduated college with multiple degrees and the dream of being a landscape architect who works for a big corporation, travels and makes a large impact on the world around him. These two meet when they bump into each other in a parking lot for the marriage reception of Ginny's cousin and the job that Josh is bartending at. They are both immediately attracted to the other and from there they decide to have a one night stand which leads to an unexpected but very welcome pregnancy on both their parts.

This novel is a slow burn novel that takes the time and care for Ginny and Josh to explore their relationship by building a foundation of friendship and respect as they both learn that they are in love with the other. I love that Ginny and Josh are so compatible and that their friendship feels easy, I love that they want to spend time together and get to know and understand each other. I love that Josh wants to work to find a way to help Ginny, even though he knows she does not need it. I love that Josh wants to be highly involved in his baby's life no matter where his job takes him. Love can also be a very frustrating thing, and when you love someone sometimes you make decisions and choices that you feel are the best for the other person, and this novel does explore that, and while that can be frustrating it is a much needed moment of growth so both characters can truly understand what will make them most happy. This novel is sweetly sensual, it is light on the spicy scenes, but it works well for the story that is being told. This novel also has some wonderful side characters in friends and family that surround Ginny and Josh, and seeing that these friends and family will stand by them both is beautiful.

I would highly recommend this novel, especially if you love a small town romance, that is not overly angsty but takes you on a nice emotional ride and shows you that love and happiness are the most important things in life and that sometimes your dreams change and grow as you change and grow.

I loved it. Simply loved it.
With age gap romances, it's usually an older man scenario, so the woman being the older partner was a delightful change.
Another thing I loved was how the "forbidden" element wasn't there, like, the FMC being the MMC's mom's best friend or her knowing the MMC since he was young.
It was just refreshing to see two consenting adults, the youngest being 25, attracted to each other and eventually falling in love.
.
The age gap was considerably large, 15 years, but I feel if the roles were reversed and the guy was older, no one would bat an eyelash.
It also made sense because Josh, the MMC, was a mature, responsible guy. His upbringing definitely played a part in shaping his character and priorities.
Ginny, the FMC, was also a great character. She was really well written, she was older but she wasn't old if that makes sense.
She wasn't acting like a 20-year-old woman, but she had a charming and attractive character that was super easy to love.
Their chemistry was sizzling, I almost saw sparks flying out of my phone. They definitely made my heart flutter.
.
I also loved how the conflict of interest was handled. I understood where both were coming from. Gin didn't want to hold Josh back and prevent him from reaching his dreams, which he kept talking about in the beginning, so she felt inclined to let him go.
She was also under constant criticism from a lot of people about her having a baby with a younger guy. It also didn't help matters that his mom was against the relationship in the beginning.
On the other hand, Josh was sure about his feelings for Ginny from the get go. He was open and attentive, he didn't shy from pursuing her multiple times even when faced with her reluctance.
I also liked the way both of their priorities shifted throughout the book. Both had a clear plan in the beginning but realized quickly that things changed and they had to reconsider their life goals.
.
I agree with some reviewers about how small and meddling the setting was. The whole gossip mill thing was over the top, to be honest.
That was the one frustrating point of the book.
.
The ending was amazing, I was really sad to let them go but I was so happy when they finally got their happily ever after.

Not Seeking Mr. Right started off with one of the most amusing openings I’ve read in a long time – and we definitely get the point right from the start. I enjoy age gap romances because I believe love comes along with the right person at the right time. Age is a number (for the most part) and I’ve never understood why it’s perfectly alright for an older man to be with a much younger woman… but when the woman is older, well, that raises eyebrows. It shouldn’t, but it oftentimes still does even today.

Ginny has recently been dumped when her now ex-boyfriend decides to get back with his ex-wife. They were to attend an event together but now Ginny is going with friends and intends to have a good time – starting with that delightful encounter in the parking lot. When her ex gets annoying Josh steps in for a dance and swings Ginny away from the man who doesn’t know how to just stay away. She might be older than him, but she’s beautiful, funny, and hot so there’s no way Josh is stepping away from her this night. A one-night stand, perfect for them both… until the results of that night become known.

I enjoyed watching this couple deal with not only a surprise pregnancy but the small town’s reaction to their relationship, and the reasons behind why Ginny keeps saying no to marriage and Josh continues to ask… until he doesn’t. There’s definitely angst here, but it fits well with how these characters are interacting. There were so many folks I’d have loved to give a glare to for their gossip but Josh and Ginny handled them well. I do think that Ginny could have accepted Josh’s feelings for her sooner or not protested quite so much about the age difference but then we wouldn’t have this fascinating romance to devour. I had fun with Not Seeking Mr. Right and if you love Rom-Com or Contemporary Romance with an age-gap couple then you’ll enjoy this return visit to The Single Ladies of Lakeside series.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Natasha Moore is still a fairly new-to-me author, but I really enjoyed The Goodbye Guy, so when I saw this one, I knew I had to give it a try. The cover caught my eye, and the blurb was intriguing. I’m not usually a fan of age-gap romances, but something about this book tugged at me. And aren’t we told we should always listen to our gut instinct? So glad I did.

There’s also another saying I should have kept in mind as I dove in: Don’t judge a book by its cover. I’ve been an avid reader most of my life and a book reviewer and blogger for five years, so I should know better, right? But in all honesty, I went in with some preconceived notions. The cover is cute and colorful, which gave me the impression this would be more of a rom-com. And The Goodbye Guy, while a tad bit angsty at times, was fun, funny, and mostly lighthearted. Don’t make my mistake. Even though Not Seeking Mr. Right starts with a humorous scene, it’s so much more. I found myself fully engaged with Ginny and Josh’s relationship. The age gap is a pretty big one, and the author had me literally feeling their struggles to the point where I shed some tears over them. That doesn’t happen often. I can experience all the emotions an author is attempting to evoke in readers, but actually shedding tears has only happened a handful of times over the years. I typically understand both the hero and heroine’s thoughts and feelings in a story, feeling omniscient yet tending to lean more toward a heroine’s side. But I was so moved by Josh’s character, I found myself extremely upset with Ginny at times. And his mom.

Not Seeking Mr. Right was so much more than I anticipated with an engaging storyline, strong leading characters, secondary characters that enriched the storyline, and writing that evoked much stronger emotions than expected.

Ginny is forty and single! Babies and marriage don’t seem to be on the cards for her! And being dumped by her wedding date spurs her on to decide on one night stands from now on!

Josh has the world at his feet! Recently finished with college he wants to change the world around him with his architect degree. He hasn’t got time or the inclination to settle down, that’s later on in his life….

They meet by accident at a wedding that Ginny is attending and Josh is working.
A little flirting, a little alcohol and a one night stand which at the time seemed like the best idea. Only this one night has a consequence neither had expected!

A slow burn romance that concentrates more on the budding friendship than the romance. And after reading so many dark/bully/Mafia books this makes a welcome change of pace.

Josh is extremely grownup for his age. He’s prepared to do the right thing and be a part of his baby’s life. But Ginny wants to do this on her own! Is that because she doesn’t want to trap Josh, or she really does want to go this alone?

So will Josh give up his dream and look after Ginny and his unborn child? Will Ginny let him?
A small town romance that has a close knit family and friends network that are prepared to help this couple.

It’s low on angst, but high on a feel good factor. It’s both funny and moving. I loved both Ginny and Josh, even when you wanted to move them both along in their relationship 😉 add in the cast of supporting characters (which some of them need their own book lol😆 and you have a read good read.
Loved how Josh wanted to support Ginny, even though she’s older and has her own life. She’s not some teenage girl that needs financial support.
Ginny is such a laugh, never losing her sense of humour or her outlook on life.

I’d recommend this book if your a lover of low angst and slow romances.

I love that the series' name and the friends called themselves "single ladies" and not spinsters or old maids. Ginny is 40 when she was dumped and looking for rebound sex at her cousin Beck's wedding. I liked that this includes what happens after previous stories' HEAs (happily ever afters) from the Men Of Lakeside series.

That "meet cute" scene at the beginning was hot and fun. That humor continued with their running joke about "LB" that made for some fun banter. They also had time for the romance to grow beyond the one night stand.

Josh is 25, then turns 26, and holds down three jobs, while dreaming of the perfect job of landscape architect who travels the world creating green spaces in cities. He was not the typical younger guy. He had two Bachelor degrees, ate healthy, and was willing to take responsibility for their baby right away.

Ginny was insecure because of their age difference, felt left out with the Colburns, and refused to hold Josh back from his dreams. She was at times less mature than Josh.

There was the role that family played for both her and him. I also liked her friends and am looking forward to her friends getting their HEAs.

This was a surprise pregnancy and fake relationship as well as older woman/ younger man romance.

This seems like the start of another fun, romantic series by this author. I'm ready for book 2!

Note: I received an advance reader copy. I have read, purchased, and enjoyed other books by this author.

4.5 stars.

Ginny is a woman who hasn’t been lucky in love. This is why she has decided to remain single, even though her dream is to have the complete package: a husband, children and the white picket fence. She goes to her cousin’s wedding, where she meets Josh, a charismatic and sexy bartender just out of college, and ends up having a passionate one-night stand with him… with permanent consequences. That’s when the conflicts begin, when small town gossip, insecurities and painful experiences from both of their past come between them. The fact that a 40-year-old woman gets pregnant by a 25-year-old man is a very juicy gossip for a town where there are no secrets…

Even with the age difference, Ginny and Josh have a lot in common. One makes the other better and vice versa, apart from the fact that their sexual compatibility is refreshing and organic. Their love is deep and strong.

With funny scenes as well as profound situations, attractive supporting characters and entertaining writing, Not seeking Mr. Right is a romantic comedy very deep in its messages. The fact of having a mature woman as the heroine —with her flaws and her worries about life and relationships, as any woman in real world— is an asset that shines on its own. And Josh is a gorgeous, charming man, really. I’ll be watching how this series continues, because it has a lot of potential.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book to review. All thoughts are my own. Oh my goodness! I have a new author to love! What a fabulous book and storyline. Ginny or Gin as Josh likes to call her....was dumped by her boyfriend and she has to attend a family wedding with no plus one...as she is heading to reception, she runs into hunky Josh who is bartending the event and there is instant attraction. The two decide after he comes to her rescue with her ex that they have chemistry and one night of memories will last a lifetime, something else happens that lasts a lifetime - forty year old Gin discovers she is pregnant and doesn't want to destroy twenty five year old Josh's plans of being a landscape designer. Josh is a decent man, who even though his Mom comes off rough, you can tell he was raised right. After many proposals that Gin turns down, Josh decides he will co-parent with Gin and while the reader sees that they two are so in love, they don't! Great read I have to check out more by this author.

This was my first romance read by Natasha Moore and it most certainly will not be my last!

The moment I read the blurb, I knew I had to read Ginny and Josh’s story. Not Seeking Mr. Right is a sweet, sexy and oftentimes funny, read. It’s a small town, one night stand, accidental pregnancy, friends to lovers, reverse age gap, romance. There is a lot going on in this book, but it works.

The thing I liked most about it was, that Ginny, was a forty year old woman. She was relatable because she is close to my own age. I really, really, enjoyed that AND it was refreshing to see her as an attractive, put together woman who still had what it took to attract and keep her younger man. And what a man Josh is! He’s the whole sexy package in a twenty five year olds body. Ginny definitely got her groove back 😉.

I’m giving Not Seeking Mr. Right the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval and am looking forward to reading more mature romances by this author. TBR and Enjoy.

Jenny ran into Josh when she was getting ready to attend a party for her family. She was hesitating to attend because her ex was going to be there. Josh was there to serve drinks. That night they hooked up an had a great night together. They both caught feelings for each other but she was hesitant because she was so much older than him. She tried to keep her distance but they hung out off and on trying to be friends. A few weeks passed and she found out she was pregnant. She knew his dreams were to move away and travel so she kept her distance more and more as the time for him to leave came closer. He proposed to her and knew she loved him too but she refused and never admitted it because she didn't want to hold him back from his dreams. As time went on he decided that was no longer his dream and he came back home and she went into labor and proposed to him in the parking lot of the hospital. He ended up moving in with her and being a happy family.

A new favorite author for me. A perfect balance between serious themes and the fun of unexpected romance that starts with a spark
.
Ginny is incredible, I loved her character and that she was a woman with a cold head but full of passion, living her life with happiness and fun despite the things that may happen and Josh is the perfect combination of seriousness, responsible and compliant men that are on his way to great goals
They both cross paths at her cousin's wedding and agree to let the spark be for just one night, with no apologies or breakfast, after all the two have they different path marked for them but sometimes the perfect moment comes when you never has expected
.
Age gap combined with a one night stand make this romance a well-seasoned story, a fun read that lifts my mood leaving a smile on my face, I love a well done women age gap with a good male character to fit
.

Thanks Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for an e-ARC!

I really enjoyed this book. I've read two small town romances in a row at this point and they're just so wholesome and warm. I thought Ginny and Josh were great together, but I did think she was incredibly stubborn at some points. I loved watching their relationship develop over the course of the book and the tropes were great! We got surprise pregnancy, age gap, small town love story and it was quite lovely. Ginny was also a complete boss ass bitch and I really enjoy her strong woman characteristics! This was such a will they won't they kind of story and I really love how it ended up. I hadn't really read too many age gap romances actually and if I had it was usually older man younger woman so I liked the reverse in this case. This was a really enjoyable read and I love the romance always!

I really liked how easy the story was to connect with the characters. Josh and Ginny were very down to earth and just kind of clicked from the start.
Ginny is just getting out of a bad relationship that went back and forth. The ex-boyfriend left her for his ex-wife. She is devastated but is ready to make the best of it. She doesn't want any relationship she just wants a rebound because she has been struggling with her age. She really is worried about appearances so when she first meets Josh she's not too sure how everything will look on the outside.
Josh is not looking for anything permanent he just finished his degree but he is always open to stuff that gets thrown at him. He has such a carefree attitude that it's so easy to relate to him and Ginny can't help but be drawn to his personality. He steps up to the plate when she least expects it and he will make all the readers swoon.

It's a sweet and heartwarming romantic comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It's a feel-good kind of book that is a perfect read if you're feeling blue for any reason. Both the characters are cute in their own way. Ginny is seething over being dumped after her boyfriend cheat for who-know-how long. And Josh is working many jobs as he tries to find the one job he actually wants. He is much younger than Ginny and at a very different stage in his life. They are both looking for different things, but the fate has its own plans and no one can stand in its path. Now, here they are. Tied down by the "little bit" or LB, as they call it. What happens when they decide to spend more time together? Will they end up in love or hating each other? Find out in this sizzling hot rom-com.

This was a cute story. In the beginning, it seemed to drag a bit, but after a few chapters, I was drawn into the story. Ginny is a 40 year old who was dumped by her ex. She meets a handsome younger Josh while at the wedding of her cousin. And she decides she’s going to have one night of fun. But then she ends up pregnant. And she prepares herself to raise the baby on her own. But when Josh steps up and says he wants to be a part of her and the baby’s life, her plans change. You can relate to both of these characters. They are likable, and you hope for the best for them. This was a cute, fast, enjoyable read and I recommend it if you enjoy a sweet rom-com.

This romance was sweet and I truly liked it.

The author gives us an emotional journey as Ginny & Josh juggle impending parenthood, their age difference and the desire to be more than just co-parents. They struggle through small town gossip, family expectations, misunderstandings and the desire to "do the right thing". I liked watching as their relationship grew from a one night stand to one where they began to put one another first.

I recommend this read. There's a lot that's going on in it, but it's a wonderful, heartwarming read.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book, which I received via NetGalley.

Ginny, forty years old, thought she could have a rebound with Josh after her ex who she thought she would start a family with cheat on her and left. Josh is twenty five and have big dreams and plans for his future. Would it be just a fling!?
Josh's character is very mature, he even seemed older than her sometimes. I think the author did a good job, their relationship made a lot of sense.

The chemistry, the struggles.. All was perfectly delivered.

P.S. I received this e-book thanks to NetGalley and the publisher in exchange of a review.

Ginny has had enough. At 40, she's done with lying cheating men. As much as he wants a family of her own, they just aren't worth a long-term relationship. A one-night stand might be fun, though, especially with the cute bartender with the really fine butt. He's leaving town soon anyway, so it's perfect! Until it isn't. Oh, he's a young one with big plans, but he wants it all, too. Will he stay? Does Ginny want the life they could build? I really enjoyed this book. It is a lot of fun. I enjoyed the character development and the relationships. Read this one!

Gin is at a wedding reception and notices Josh in the parking lot. Changing. He notices her too. After a one night stand, she finds out she’s pregnant. Age is a big issue for her as she is 40 and Josh is 25. After telling him the big news, he doesn’t react the way she thinks he would. Turning down proposals is what she thinks is best as he just graduated from college and wants to see what the world has to offer. I liked this rom com a lot. Was a very enjoyable read.

Unlikeable heroine

This book has a surprisingly unlikeable heroine. She is older (40) compared the hero (25). She's good with having a one night stand with the guy, but when it results in a surprise pregnancy,, she spends the bulk of the rest of the book pushing him away, giving him mixed signals and thinking she knows what's best for him, despite his efforts to show that he wants more. By the time she decides that she does, in fact, want him, there's one conversation, she goes into labor, they have the baby, and boom, the end and here's the next book.

Love this! First, we have an older woman, younger man story and it was great from the beginning! Ginny and Josh have immediate sparks, a fun back and forth, and some frustrating ups and downs. I loved everything about it. The story kept my attention, I didn't want to put it down so I just devoured it. It's a great mix of feelings that makes an amazing read!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

A one night stand that turns into a life time commitment. Ginny is trying to get over being dumped by her ex. Living in a small town the talk is on everyone’s lips. Josh has finally graduated college and is looking forward to starting a career. The story is focused on the age differences of the characters and how it affects the family members and community gossip. As they spend time together they have to make choices about their future relationship.

This is a fun, entertaining read. Josh and Ginny are interesting, relatable, intriguing, entertaining characters. I enjoyed them as individuals and as a couple. Their meet-cute is unique and fun. I enjoyed the overall story and how they got to their HEA. I loved the family and friendship dynamics. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story. I wish that we had gotten an epilogue to see where they ended up. The story is easy to read and get into.
