Macon. The devilish, lanky limbed nineteen-year-old who serves me espresso ice cream with chocolate hearts in it at the ice cream parlor.
Bratty, not-so-innocent Macon. His eyes roaming over my bulging muscles and tattoos as he stumbles over his words while taking my order.
Macon doesn't know it yet, but he's mine. My angel. My boy. My everything. Macon needs me in his life. To hold him. To protect him. To give him his favorite unicorn stuffy while he sleeps at night. To put a bullet in his good-for-nothing ex's skull.
I'm a savage killer in the Russian mob. But I don't care.
Macon needs a Daddy... And that Daddy is going to be me.
Warning: Not for those who don't like sexy Russian hitmen, sweet boys with a hankering for unicorn stuffies, loads of steamy Daddy times, a ex-boyfriend who gets what he deserves, extra heapings of snark, and a super-sweet, give-me-all-the-warm-fuzzies guaranteed HEA!
I knew I was in trouble when the bratty hero begins the story by masturbating with an ice cream scoop. As a cam-boy he lives to please his customers, even if it's by using any tool necessary he can find as a handy-dandy dildo. So what if he's on the JOB at an ice cream parlor, and is screwing himself with the ice cream scoop LOUDLY the bathroom just a few feet away from customers? He lives to make his audience happy.
I'll never look at an ice cream scoop the same way again.
It's time for me to stop reading this series. I've tried to go into each book with an open mind, but they are so over the top, it's just too much for me. The heroes aren't likable and honestly after reading 13% of this book, I wanted to toss my kindle across the room.
I'm done.
By the high ratings and glowing reviews, I am clearly in the minority with this book and series. If you're interested, check it out.
These books keep getting better and better!! The boys have captured my heart and so have their big gruff Daddies! Macon is so sassy in the beginning, and at first I didn’t think Aleksei was going to take the bait. But there is so much self growth in this book and it was spectacular to see a boy and his Daddy make it work and overcome past traumas.
Reading this book was funny. Not in the way that I am laughing with the book but more or so laughing at it. Where do I even begin? This book read more like a Wattpad fanfic turned into a book that begs to be taken seriously and miserably fails. There are a lot of repetitions and constant information dumps whose only purpose is to meet the word count I fear. We get it, Aleksei is Russian and Macon is the cutest angel, you don't have to constantly remind us of these aspects. The phrase, 'I/X character let out a breath/grow/sigh' or some variation thereof shows up in the book 91 times, I counted. It should be clear that that is not good writing. Furthermore, the characters in this book rarely laugh, sigh or whatever, they always let out a laugh, a laugh tumbles out of them or a laugh escapes them. AGAIN, that is not good writing, it's redundant.
Some words and phrases were certainly... a choice. '...thrums'? '...desire pounding my gut like a professional wrestler's fists?' '...every muscle in this cruel man's body ripples when he moves'? No, just no. There would be instances of beautiful sentence constructions like '...stirring the embers of my arousal as he gives way to the most beautiful sensations I've ever felt in my life.' or '...fire surges through him, clawing at his instances' and '...rage kicking up a sandstorm in my chest and blinding me.' but then I'd encounter the third 'I let out a laugh' of the chapter and be reminded just how of a joke the book I'm reading is.
Going back to the point of information dumps, the author gave us way too much information about characters I would assume the readers who've read the previous 4 books have met. I am confident that I do not have to read the other books to know what happens as I have already been exposed to their stories in this book. In this instance, the book reads as a stand-alone. On the other hand, the book seemed more like its purpose was to introduce us to the characters and stories of 'Convict Daddy' and 'Bodyguard Daddy', making it not read as a stand-alone. It's a confusing mess.
Getting into the actual plot we find holes. Macon explicitly states over and over throughout the book how Draven abused him and how he was abusive, imagine my shock when Aleksei told him that Draven was abusive and he denies it and says he never thought of it like that. HE HAS EXPLICITLY CALLED WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM ABUSE MORE THAN ONCE??? This is not the only instance where the author was confused about what happens in their book. In chapter 26, Aleksei states that 'Macon didn't tell me his ex-boyfriend's name, but is it possible it's Draven?' and in chapter 27, Macon whispers that 'I never told you Draven's name, Daddy.' except he mentioned Draven's name in CHAPTER 13.
Moreover, among other things that Draven is hated for, he is largely hated because he was in a relationship with Macon when Macon was 18. Which is gross, except Igor is married to an 18-year-old, or does he get a pass because he is a hot growly Russian Daddy? This was weird for me, not to mention that Preston is likely to get with Sasha when he turns 18 despite the older male having worked for him since he was likely a minor.
TLDR: The book sucks.

Aster Rae’s series of big, growly, Russian mafia Daddies gets better and better with each book. They are pure fun, and entertainment, and the fifth book in the series is no different. I was rolling with laughter in the first chapter, and this book left me smiling with each page I read.
Macon is bratty, sassy and fierce! He makes no apologies for his cam work, his attitude, his snark, or his love of his pink unicorn stuffy. I loved him! I think he is my favorite of the “Littles”, but I say that with each book Aster writes.
Aleksei is big, growly, deadly, but a marshmallow inside when it comes to his boy. He sees Macon and falls head over heals for him. Hard. Aleksei gets what he wants, and he wants Macon. Macon comes at him with pure attitude, and Aleksei loves it! Macon tends to live his life with the motto of if I make someone leave first, they can’t hurt me. Something a lot of us can relate to. Aleksei is determined to break through all Macon’s walls of sass, to get to the sweet boy underneath. Even going so far as to get a job with his boy, scooping ice cream. Aleksei is over the top when wooing someone (some might call it stalking, it’s all perspective), and he goes all out with Macon. I loved that Macon didn’t swoon at Aleksei’s feet, he made him work for his affections.
The kink factor was amped up in this book, and Macon and Aleksei are HAWT together! I will never look at an ice cream scoop the same way! I honestly never wanted this wild adventure these two took me on to end. Aster’s writing gets better and better with each book, and I’m impatiently waiting for the next book in the series to be released.
First of all, I love this series of books. Yes, they're a bit over-the-top and cheesy but they are also so much more. They are filled with positive affirmations regarding kink acceptance, body positivity, friendship. - heck, they even talk about animal cruelty and environmentalism. The boys are cheeky, sassy and kinky AF, and matched perfectly by their growly, possessive Russian mafia men.
Macon and Aleski are the perfect blend of kinky exhibitionism and bloodthirsty Bratva. I love that the author did so much to bring a positive light to sex workers and cam models. I also loved that, even though Aleski is generally ruthless, he draws the line at sex trafficking and the abuse of kids. This is a mafia family with a set of morals - kind of! I've been binge reading from the start again and I can't wait to dive into the next book. These are simply fun, engaging, feel-good stories and I'm so glad that I discovered them.
Alexsei claimed Macon from the moment he saw him in the ice cream shop serving him the espresso ice cream with chocolate hearts inside it. He was definitely going for ultra-bratty and Macon stayed that way for much of the book. Alexsei stayed ultra calm and tolerant and very helpful as he made sure that Macon always had his unicorn stuffy with him when he slept. As Alexsei hunted down their family's rivals he also put some ghosts of both his own and Macon's pasts to rest too.
I enjoyed this book and the way that Alexsei was so caring and tolerant of his boy even to the point of letting him top from the bottom in order to put something from his past to rest. Macon's ex was a nasty piece of work and he had an amazingly close shave with him, and again it was very sensitive of Alexsei to allow him to do the final attack. Easy to read, feel and understand. The MM book contained mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
In Psychopath, we turn to Macon and Aleksei. Macon, who wants to earn money as a cam boy, is dealing with issues from his past with his ex-boyfriend. Aleksei, who sees Macon, and is instantly smitten, takes job working alongside Macon at an ice cream parlor, and the two of them grown closer, with Aleksei breaking down Macon's walls. Psychopath has insta love, a bratty little who comes around, and a Mafia man looking for his other half. I enjoyed seeing Macon open up to Aleksei. Macon starts out on the bratty side, but his sweet emerges, the more he trusts Aleksei. There are a few places where plot points or thoughts are repeated quite a few times, and there may be a thing or two that feel a little out of left field, but Pyschopath continues to have characters that I love getting to know, and see get their HEA.
Sigo tratando de entender por qué continúo con la serie, a pesar que los libros son malísimos. El desarrollo de la historia es pésima, las contradicciones que abundan son muchas. Los diálogos que saltan de una cosa a la otra son totalmente horrible. Aunque, me he resignado a seguir con ella. Este libro estuvo bien, la trama, la sinopsis era buena. Man, me había imaginado una cosa buena, me equivoqué.
Aster Rae has written another really good book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. This book told the story of Aleksei and Macon. Macon had abusive ex that wanted to do some horrible things to him and because of this, he found it hard to trust men and open up his heart to another male just to get hurt, abused, etc again. Aleksei also had his own heart broken by Little who cheated on him. I really enjoyed that Aleksei helped Macon overcome his fears, his pain, etc, and also got Macon the help he needed by going with him to see a therapist. And Macon helped Aleksei with facing his ex-little partner and see that even though he cheated on him, he also was working with his family's greatest enemy even when they were together. Aleksei was shocked to find out.

So very well-done Aster Rae!! Macon is sassy and snarky!! Aleksei is a Russian killer Daddy. He meets Macon at a new ice cream shop and decides that Macon will be his. Fantastic!! Each of these Daddy stories in this series just keep getting better and better. Macon was my favorite to date, he felt realistic in what his fears were. I love the growly Daddy’s in these stories. Macon and Aleksei were perfect for one another! Overall this was a really fantastic story, really well written, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
This series is so sweet. Every book has its cute couple of a Russian mob Daddy and a lovely little.
I‘m fascinated how different the books are, there‘s not a repeat although the theme is the same.
This book is about Aleksei and Macon who meet in the ice parlor of Christian. Macon is so bratty because of his bad experience and also Aleksei had a bad relation ship, but he keeps his things together to get Maron as his beloved baby boy.
I got an ARC for my honest review and highly recommend this book.
I just had a hunch this was going to be my favorite in this series and I was right. Aleksei and Macon are a dream team. Macon may be the strongest, most self confident and self aware of the littles in this series. He's nobody's doormat and he puts big, tough, deadly Aleksei through his paces. Aleksei is another wonderful Mafia daddy. He's obsessive, possessive but in those secret, one-on-one times with Macon he's just lovely. Scary, lol, but lovely. There's just the right mix of fluff and darkness here, like a rich dark, hot chocolate with whipped cream.
Aleskei and Macon's book was by far my favorite, it made me Laugh out loud, Cry, and Cheer. It is Aster Rae's most Kinky AF book yet, but Exceptionally well written. The way the characters are all put together is a dream come true for any reader.
Aster Rae Wow! He can really write powerful, imaginative sex scene's, that are so realistic its like your there. Thank you dear friend for such a Phenomenal Book.
Wow another 5 star read for me with Macon and Aleksei. Aleksei is a Russian mobster and Macon is a nineteen year old ice cream parlor worker who meet and boom Aleksei is determined to be Macon's Daddy. Macon is very sassy but only to hide that he's afraid to be used again like his ex. Aleksei also has an ex and both must confront their past in order to get their HEA. Warp speed ahead with this book that I highly recommend.
I liked this one but just not as much as the others. I enjoyed the plot with the exes. I just didn't feel the chemisty and connection of this couple compared to the others. Might just be me. I also enjoyed that there was more play in the previous books which made them more adorable. That was definitely missed in this one.
It’s time for me to stop trying these books. I like the idea and I keep thinking things will get better. However, after five books, the writing is still terrible. This one didn’t even have an endearing Little like many of the other books did. I found Macon annoying, selfish, and bratty. Not cute. This is just not for me.
This was a quick read even for this series. We follow the psycho cousin of our previous main characters that were in the Russian Mafia. He ends up following in love instantly with a boy and realizes that he has to show him that he is his daddy. It was cute and I must say I'm enjoying this book series.
Aleksei is definitely a psychopath. Some of the things he said and did were completely unhinged. But wow did I love every moment. And Macon...he starts off super bratty, then slowly reveals his sweet little side. Yet he really surprised me at the end. They are definitely perfect for each other.
Two men that is broken hung up with the past and what their exs put them through. Aleksei is the Daddy who wants to protect his baby boy. We are still following Russian mafia cousins/brothers. But when both exs link up and is the sex trafficking together both Aleksei and Macon must take them down to be free of their past.
Macon has a chip on his shoulder when he first meets Aleksei. But with time and patience Macon learns to trust that Aleksei won't hurt him like Draven. Sweet read in the Daddies series you end up loving the Mafia Daddies .
I keep trying with this series but it just doesn't work for me. It's basically the same thing over and over again with names and events changed slightly. If over the top cheesy insta-love is your thing, this will work for you.
You keep doing it making me 💘love 💘 your story the characters the plot. Wasn't into reading about Littles but I can't put these books down. Looking forward to the next brother in the family. Yessss
sorry dnf at about 30% There's nothing I love more than a dark daddy romance. But there's sassy smart mouth brat, then there's whatever the heck he was. Maybe eventually there was a redeeming quality about him that I didn't get to, but Macon was just way too damn annoying for me.
I had a hard time with this one. I was not a fan of Macon. I’m sorry I just couldn’t stand his attitude at times. But I still read on and will continue the series. I still love this series
I’m so blown away with everything that has happened in this story. There’s so much drama and excitement in every single moment of the whole experience behind their lives together. I’m so glad to be able to be part of this world of love.
Aleksei is really a psychopath but he also has a big heart for the boy of his dreams. Macon has been hurt and is afraid to love. The two get together and hunt monsters and love.
I love these books. Super cute and all different in their own way. Macon and alexi are such a cute couple and I love that they are cam models! This one was a little “darker” than the other 4 but still a super fluffy read.
