I was so excited when I saw Debi was releasing an updated Second Edition and immediately put it on my Christmas list. This book is charming and chock-full of information, given in a friendly and very easy to read style. It covers really every facet of how to get into voice acting that you could need. Much of the basics are very similar to other books on the topic I've read, but her warm and encouraging style make you feel supported and like you already have a friend in the business. I have had the immense privilege of doing some voice acting and so I knew some of it, it's what to do with my demo and how to move forward that I feel stuck on. She does give some ideas but I still feel a bit lost, I was hoping for a bit more clarity to come in that area especially. Still, a great thorough and fun book, it would be absolutely perfect for someone who has had no experience or any idea of what it entails. I loved it and will be going back to watch the videos linked in the book!
