This book is a piece of HP fanfiction, JKR is a TERF and I don't support her in any way. I'm sorry if seeing this in your feed upsets you in any way.
2025 re-read I have been using this mammoth of a collection as a sort of comfort read for several months now and although I was really working for finishing it (My kindle app says that this is a 50+ hours of reading time and GR catalogs it as having 2505 pages, which doesn't even count in several stories that are actually just linked in the book and I read them on AO3 as part of this re-read... so probably closer to 60+ hours... not that anyone is counting...). So yeah, sorry, what I meant to say before this digression... although I worked hard to finish it and there was a lot of it and sometimes I was desperately thinking that I was never going to finish this re-read, I am also quite sorry to let this go. This book became part of my reading habit now and I feel like I will need to fill up the empty space somehow now.
If I'm being honest, I don't think I liked it quite as much as I loved it the first time I read it, but in different aspects I also maybe liked it more. I didn't quite get Olivie's rendition of Theo Nott the first time around, I did like his softer saner version that usually shows up in NottGrass fics (see my previous and standing love for Things About You, Reunion, Rook and Black Jeans and Daphne Blue), but I didn't quite got his more manic version of aristocratic anarchist (a combination that shouldn't work, yet it does) that we usually get in the NottPott fics. This time around though I really lived for those. (See my newfound love for S.P.E.W. this one is actually Theo/Hermione bromance though, In Harmonia Progressio, Death Wish, Primo, Better If You Run and Brick I still can't believe that a fic about building lego made it among my favourites 🤦♀️
The other highlight I could count on and that I believe I enjoyed even more the second time around, although I already loved them the first time around are the ParkWeasel stories, they are usually quite smutty, but the main reason I enjoy them is the banter and just the relationship dynamics in general. Just soooo good. (See Better, Survival Techniques, Work Out and Never Blink)
But the reason I even started this re-read are the reality show pieces. I don't even watch reality TV but those stories are just hilarious and so good and I wish there were more of them. (See Bachelorette, Drunk History: The Voldemort Wars, The Real Hogwarts, The Real World: Ministry of Magic but even the smaller ones like Masters of Ink or Brick) I liked some of them more than others but all of them were fun... well, apart from Brick, Brick was pretty serious.
And then there are a couple of gems that don't really fit into any category. Those unique pieces that are just... inspired. One of my top favourites from this collection is Battle of Bands which is what it says on the tin, featuring Marauders, Death Eaters and The Most Ancient House of Black as bands competing in a... battle of bands. It also follows Lucissa, which is empathically NOT my ship! And yet... what an utter perfection this was.
I also want to mention The Fairer Sex which is a story following Lockhart! And the ship is between him and Rita Skeeter without this being a crack fic! I would absolutely read this as a crack fic and wouldn't have thought that it was possible to pull this off, but again Olivie Blake!
Vive le Tour is a Tour the France AU for god's sake! I wouldn't be caught dead watching Tour de France! And yet, this story was really good. It was also Mulciberry, which again, not a ship that would even occur to me, but yeah, this turned out really good.
I need to mention With Love and Admiration and The Bromance Bookclub which don't fit that well in any category but both of which were very funny in different ways and I loved them both.
It might seem a little weird that in my whole review I didn't really mention Dramione once considering that Dramione is pretty much Olivie's ship of choice. I mean, why would I even read this if I didn't like the most common ship, right?! I mean, Dramione is fine and I did enjoy several of the fics that centered them (I already mentioned some of them, actually). What I mean to say, Dramione is fine, I do enjoy reading about them, but it rarely wins over my heart. (My Favourites would be Bachelorette, A Little Twisted, Reunion, Correspondence and Gentleman's Guide to Incandescence)
So yeah, that's about it! I had a good time and I'm glad I finally did this! Writing this review, I realised I wasn't as diligent with my bookmarking as I wanted to be, so I need to add a couple bookmarks to some of my faves, but otherwise I'm very happy how I marked my copy, it would make it so much easier to revisit some of my faves in the future when I need a simple comfort read.
Original Review A collection of shorts, but also a few a bit longer series. It's lovely olivieblake can sell me even on a idea I thought I wouldn't vibe with in the beginning. Things About You (NottGrass) is one of my comfort reads, I re-read it just yesterday and while objectively speaking it's not one of her wittiest pieces, I absolutely love it. I really want to re-visit this collection and bookmark it better, because I know there were a lot of things that I love but finding them in 2000+ pages isn't the easiest task.
JKR is a TERF and I don't support her in any way. I'm very lucky that I am still able to enjoy this amazing fanfiction.
Edit: I forgot to update the last two stories in my update entries, so I'm going to put this at the bottom for completionism sake.
Intimacy Issues 4⭐
Not sure how I feel about this one actually. I enjoyed it, but it contains sex-work over a phone and I am not sure about the ethics of some of the aspects.

Really great one to end the collection on, I can't believe I loved this much a story about a lego-building competition. But then again, it has Theo Nott.

A huge collection of just random stories. It was a brilliant idea and Olivieblake really knows how to write. On to the next collection
