It’s the UnHoly Trinity’s first Christmas in New Orleans. Nora decides she, Søren, and Kingsley need to celebrate with a very special gift-giving game—not a boring White Elephant exchange, but a Black & Blue Elephant exchange where the gifts hurt as much to receive as they do to give. And Nora already knows exactly what she wants…

This erotic holiday novella takes place shortly after the events of “Christmas in Suite 37A” (Michael’s Wings).

Genre: Erotica
Type: Novella #6.4 in The Original Sinners series
POV: Third Person
Rating:

Christmas is a time for giving, and The Unholy Trinity was deep in their games. Nora, Søren, and Kingsley made a deal to give something to each other that would strengthen their bonds more than ever.

“Nico, you know how this works. He’s the very forbearing husband I’m not actually married to, and you are my delicious concubine.”

Søren and Kingsley have always been my favorite fictional couple. I get all warm and fuzzy every time I read their scenes. Nora is of course my favorite female character, and I still love her even though I still have a hard time accepting Nico in the equation.

I loved the concept of their gift exchange with how it can be both selfish yet selfless. My favorite part was Soren’s gift from Nora. It was nice seeing him from a different perspective.

Wrapped in Black would appeal to The Original Sinners series readers looking for a lightly kinky festive read.

"Merry Fucking Christmas."
"My sentiments exactly."
Oh, this was a fun one! The humor is excellent and just what I needed to end 2021 with a smile. But it also has beautifully unguarded moments which I loved. I read this novella so very slowly, savoring each scene. Absolute perfection. I adore Reisz's annual Christmas gift to her fans, and this story had a little bit of everything while revisiting ALL of our favorite characters. But my favorite part? Søren. This book sets aside the abstract idea of his character and shows a very human, a very vulnerable side to him. I loved every single thing about it.

Thank you Tiffany Reisz

I will never ever get enough of these characters and thankfully, the author does a fantastic job with these bonus novellas.
The scene with the massage therapist and Søren was such a delight, I wished it would never end. Lucky was an amazing character!
I absolutely ADORE the humor and mischief the author peppers through the pages, the unconditional love, the hot as hades sex scenes.
Wholesome content. 5 STARS.

With the Unholy Trinity’s first Christmas in New Orleans, Nora wants to spice things up by proposing a gift exchange that gives and hurts simultaneously. Between Nora, Søren and Kingsley, their gifts give in unexpected ways.

“I’m a sadist,” he said. “We do whatever you don’t want us to do. That’s why we’re sadists.”

In this holiday novella, reconnecting with these characters always soothes my soul. If only I could just jump in this fictional world. lol The connection between Søren and King is so deeply engrained yet they manage to still surprise us with secrets. But Nora’s gift to Søren opened up a new realm into Mr. Winter’s icy exterior.

Wrapped in Black is full of holiday kink and would appeal to Original Sinners.

And then, quietly, into Kingsley’s ear, Søren asked, “Does it hurt?”

And Kingsley’s quieter reply, “It only hurts when it’s over.”

Tiffany Reisz is just a gift that keeps on giving; I love that she always goes back to this world and writes shorts and Christmas novellas each year for them. One can never get enough of the Original Sinners <3

I know that this is poly and I adore all these characters together but Kingsley and Søren's dynamic will always be my favorite. And submissive Kingsley? Umfgh. Nothing can top that (except Søren 😂)

I discovered Tiffany Reisz because I found GoodReads. I stumbled onto a group of reviews about The Siren and it was the in-depth review by Courtney Milan that seemed to push me over the edge and buy something I never would have before. (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...)

I was also taken by all of the reviews from those who spent time discussing it. I became good friends with many of the authors of those reviews, my OG friends after all these years on the site.

I happened to love the Original Sinners, they touched my heart, and even though I may not have read every single entry published, Soren, Kingsley, and Nora will always hold my heart when I read anything about them.

Wrapped In Black gave me everything I needed to remember how I felt from the start. Thank you, Ms. Reisz, for the Holiday Gift.

“You two are impossible to buy anything but socks for.
You Kingsley can buy yourself anything you want.
And you Søren don’t want anything.”
- Nora

——

“When I want something too much, I can’t trust myself to have it. I think I might hurt you more than I should tonight.
I can do anything I want to you. But you were right about the gift—I want it, but I don’t want it. But we’ll save it for another time. And know that one of these days…”

It ain't Christmas without Mistress Reisz.

I'm a little shocked that I had to pay for this year's Christmas story but it was over 100 pages so... ok? But $4???? Damn!

I digress.

As always, the scene between King and Søren touched me. I know. It's basically a foregone conclusion at this point but at least I'm consistent! Seriously though, the things King says or thinks about Søren you'd have to be the Tin Man to not feel something while reading them.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the scene with Lucky and Søren. I hope Lucky shows up somewhere else because anyone who can hold their own with Søren is aces in my book.

My only quibble is... is it just me or is the sex talk starting to feel a little bit like Momsplaining? With all the technical terms it feels a little sex ed 101 taught by a sex ed teacher that's trying too hard to sound cool by throwing in a "cunt" here or a "hole" there. In short, I would've liked for my lady garden to have jumped up and did a tango whereas she ended up unenthusiastically playing the triangle. Off-key. Pun not intended.

Alas, I would still recommend it to fans of The Sinners. You know what you're signing up for.

Tiffany Reisz and her Unholy Trinity always manage to warm my heart! I live for what she writes, but when it’s about Søren, Nora and Kingsley, I thrive reading it. Because ahe definitely thrives writing about them.

This is a short story, a novella, and it packs more emotion, more creative genious than a LOT of full length books out there.

What Tiffany creates with this characters is absolutely amazing! I feel all their pain and all their joy. When Søren suffers for Nora I suffer, when Kingsly is hurt, I hurt and when Nora is conflicted I am also.

Tiffany really brought these characters to life! And this short story gave me life. It gave me joy, laugh, angst and it just makes me happy I know these characters!

Thank you, Tiffany, for an amazing early Christmas gift!

The perfect gift

Seriously, there really is no better gift for me than some time with my favourite trio, and add in Christmas? Even better. This is always my favourite time of year and Wrapped In Black was just perfect. It left me feeling so happy and content, like every book in this series does, and craving yet another re-read from the very beginning.

Wrapped In Black is the naughty side to Christmas only Tiffany Reisz can deliver. Combined with the ever-present strong love that seeps through each scene between the Un-holy trinity that is SØREN, Kingsley, and Nora and you have the perfect holiday novella. Wildly entertaining and incredibly endearing, these three decide upon a new tradition, their own version of a ‘White Elephant’ gift exchange that presents a ton of trepidation going in but a lasting hope and even a bit of joy when all has been delivered.

Always a true treat being back with this marvelous trio, I’m always fascinated as I learn more about them with each new story. Even during intense sexual moments, truths tend to be laid bare as their bodies take the pain as a sort of cleansing their minds and souls desperately need.

But it’s the sweeter moments, filled with decidedly contented mirth, that keeps me coming back for more. SØREN, Nora, and Kingsley each have a very distinct style both in and out of the bedroom and/or dungeon as can be the case with these three, but there is this affection that cannot be denied no matter how complicated their lives and pairings may be. The deep trust they have in one another is what keeps their relationships thriving and is put to the test more than once in this story. And I just loved how they work through all the entanglements with heartfelt revelations and the desire to try to stay true to their selves.

There are plenty of erotic trysts that are sure to warm up a cold winter’s night and a few surprises had me smiling broadly. To say it is a huge pleasure to get to be with this exceptional crew once more is an understatement. I could read about them for years to come since every experience reminds me of just how well-written and unique these characters are and how their love for each other knows no bounds no matter what might transpire between them.

Wrapped In Black is a must-read for any fan of The Original Sinners and I happily give this book a big 5 stars!

Short and sweet enough. The plot is very good, the story a bit bland though.
Love the way Søren and Nora get to be boyfriend/girlfriend. Jealous Søren
Love between King and Søren.

The story leaves an open chapter; King having a very difficult time seeing a future with Søren.
I so wish for Reisz to get back to that subject!

Only Tiffany Reisz can make it scorching hot and wonderfully sweet at the same time and put an incredible amount of character and relationship development into less than a 100 pages. Yet another lovely Christmas novella of hers, a perfect first read of the year.

✨the 2 stars are for soren and kingsley only✨

I stopped reading this series when i realised that soren and kingsley will never be together exclusively like they deserve. Even reading this short story, I was only intrigued by their scenes, couldn't care less about anyone else's scenes.

Wow, just wow! Beautiful writing as always, funny, emotional and lustful! I keep falling more and more in love with soren as a character.. He feels like a difficult riddle to solve but as you remove layer by layer the restrictions one can really taste a exquisite aroma sooo rich and complicated, a divine sin! That being said I feel that this book gave me a rare glimse of Him that left me starved for more. I would love a book of Him alone, interacting with different characters, his potentials are really unlimited.

The book alone is at the top quality in depth and erotica as always. Ms Reisz really keeps the reader enganged in the story and the passion - anquish as always balance perfectly. Honestly never have I ever met such a perfect mix of emotions, discussions and acts driven by sentiments in other characters. In other words, I wouldn't change a thing in the entire series!

Happy holidays!

If the names Soren, Nora, and Kingsley mean anything to you, then one-click this book and enjoy. Honestly, every time I read one of Reisz's "Original Sinners" works, I want to go back and re-read it all. But the series is intense emotionally. There are bleak points where you cannot imagine any sort of happily-ever-after for this trio and their various significant others, but gosh, the author sure makes you hope they can find a way... Well, Merry Christmas! They do find a way, and although there is conflict aplenty in this novella, you also get a sense of the contentment they've found in New Orleans. The best thing for me, personally, is knowing that Nora and Soren can see one another on a daily basis, if they so choose. There was so much longing for more time, more time, in the series. I'm glad they have it now--because, of course, these characters are real in my head, so now I can have a nicer holiday knowing they are happy! If you don't know who Soren, Nora, and Kingsley are...start with The Saint. It's on my all-time keeper shelf.

Original sinners is a cow and the author has been milking it for a while now. Usually I don't mind it because the milk is good, unfortunately this time it came out rotten and maybe its a sign to finally stop. As much as I love the series, I loathed this book after being fairly disappointed with "The priest".

Its like the Tiffany Reisz no longer remembers what she wrote in any of her 'original' original sinners books because every single person in the unholy trinity was acting out of character. This felt like a bad fan-fiction than a novella.

Tiffany is a great writer and I really do love her work more often than not so I'm hoping that she would come out with something new one of these days, not another godwicks sequel (the pearl felt like a fever dream Nora would have about Soren and her roles being switched) because Mona's womb needs a break and not the 100th sinners' short but instead new characters, new setting and new world.

Give Kingsley a break, man needs therapy.

Any chance to step back into the Original Sinners world is a gift, and Wrapped in Black is definitely a gift. Yes, this series is all about the kink. Given. But it's also about the unconditional love these people have for each other. This novella shows that unconditional love with stories of the gifts they give to one another, gifts that are both wanted and not wanted to give and receive. A little confusing, but it all makes sense once you read it. This short story is packed with the all of the beautifully written wit and love and kink we're used to with a story in the OS world. It's the perfect little package.

Not your usual Secret Santa this year...
A different kind of gift exchange is about to go down this year for Soren, Kingsley and Nora...one that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. Each gift serves a purpose... each gift will send an arrow straight to our hearts. Another beautiful yet kinky novella by Tiffany Reisz that will leave you deeply satisfied. 5 Sticky Sweet Stars for "Wrapped In Black (The Original Sinners Christmas Stories)"... where everyone gets what they deserve this Christmas.

I've known for a while that I would never not ADORE The Unholy Trinity, and this story just confirmed it even more... I love the way they are finding happiness on their own individual terms, but also as a part of each other. Søren, my heart beats faster when I read your name on paper. Kings, your love for him is one of the most beautiful love stories ever written... Nora, you are dealing with all of them as beautifully and fearlessly as always... Original Sinners rule!!!.💜💚💜💚💜💚

Original Sinners version of a holiday tradition

Nora, Søren, and Kingsley decide to gift each other true White Elephant gifts—those that are a blessing and a curse—pleasure and pain for the giver and receiver. The gifts are actually very heartfelt for our three favorite characters—they truly know one another. Christmas feel good with just the right about of kink to get you in the holiday spirit.

Happily this novella dropped onto my Kindle right before a trip to New Orleans, so I was able to read it while I was in the Crescent City. Unfortunately, the novella didn’t have much background color in it as it primarily dealt with the characters in their personal habitats. While I enjoyed connecting with the characters again, I was disappointed that this was actually a complete novella rather than a series of related holiday-themed short stories (like the other holiday editions). I rather enjoyed the randomness of the other holiday editions that sought to fill in gaps in the storyline.

Of course, my favorite part was the introduction of Lucky, the Smurf masseuse. Her repartee with Søren was so brilliantly written. It almost had me laughing out loud, which was a nice change of pace from the heaviness and darkness of the rest of the novella.

5 stars because duh, it’s Nora, King and Soren and that will always get 5 stars. But I can’t help but think the introduction of Nico’s character killed the series. Part of the top tier story telling and hotness of this series was the sex and intimacy between Nora, King and Soren and Nico just constantly falls flat and disrupted their dynamic. All good things must come to an end but it’s still sad to see.
