Wilder Match is the second book in a series. You must read the books in order, and just like "Wilder Game," it ends in a cliffhanger. The story of Karis and Jude continues with further complications. The plot is complicated, and no one is sure what is really going on. Her situation worsens, and she spends more time trying to get away from her evil sister and lying to everyone, so she won't be reported to Child Protection for living alone at 17. They both seem extremely young and overly mature for their ages, but I remember myself at that age and know that kids can be competent and certainly in love. As Karis opens up a bit more to others and Jude, she gains more support, but we know there are enemies out there. They get threatening notes, there are robberies, his tires are slashed, and her evil sister gives her a car. She starts back to tennis again. Then we get the next cliffhanger. The young couple is strong throughout, although others are not so sure.
I am so impressed by the plotting and writing--this book was better than the first one.
I received an ARC from the author/publisher and voluntarily left this review.
