playing fetch with the dogs, talking to my parents for endless amounts
of hours, annoying the crap out of my husband, or just enjoying life
with my friends.
Writing has been a part of my life since I was about 12. I started
out just writing short stories or silly knock-offs of my favorite shows
or movies. Soon, though, I realized just how much I loved to write.
How often my mind would wander and think of characters and where
they could go. They became real to me, and I would start to write. I
used to fill up notebooks and pads of paper when I got an idea. It
would be an obsession, almost, to get on paper. Then, when I was old
enough to have a computer, I started there.
Now, I’m 28 years old and I finally hit that button. The one that
I’ve thought about it over and over again for the past 16 years. There is
no greater joy, or fear, at realizing you’ve just accomplished something
that you’ve wanted to do for so very long. That is my greatest accomplishment
and I look forward to hitting that button on many more.

A while ago I picked up Fire & Ink: Wolf by chance and till today I'm grateful I did because it was a story with such great characters.
Life got in the way and unfortunately I haven't continued reading the series yet even though I always say that Honor & Ink: Talon will be the next book I read.
I met Bullet and Rose in Fire & Ink: Wolf and I instantly loved them and I was excited to read their story so I added this to my tbr. I'm going to be completely honest, I loved the parts when they first met but I also loved their moments in the present. They might be old compared to the couples I usually read about but that's exactly why I loved these scenes. Seeing a couple still in love after so many years of marriage was absolutely perfect.
The only thing that made me not enjoy this book completely was that I didn't realize before I picked it that it takes place after the last book of the Inked series so I kinda spoiled those books for me and I didn't know some characters but that's completely my fault.
I want to be fair so I will rate this book as if I had read all the books in the Inked series but I'll probably reread it after finishing them. I'd love to read Bullet and Rose's sons' stories so I'll definitely be back in the series. 4 ⭐

I liked what we had seen of Bullet and Rose in the Inked series. So with this book being all about them I was super happy going into it. It had the right balance of past and present, a good way to go from the Inked series to one about the MC.
I love how everyone is scared of all the "moms" and how all the men don't think the 3 women should be allowed to be together, ever. I will say they might be on to something if their actions of this book are indicative of what they get up to. But mostly I wish I had women like this around me, so that I could join in their brand of mischief and have a man to drive nuts, like they do. And Bullet, for as much of a grump as he comes off as, he's a marshmallow at heart, everyone should have someone like him to have their back and give them a safe place to land when needed.

If you've read the Fire & Ink series from Emily, then you'll be fully aware of Bullet and Rose. The story, I can confirm, is incredible and completely lived up to my high expectations for this book.
I loved that there was flashbacks as I was dying to see how they met, got together etc. Also, some of the flashbacks are hilarious and will definitely leave you in stitches.

Rose is the strong, vibrant, sassy and wonderful woman we've seen her be throughout the series. Seeing so much more of her was such a treat. Bullet, I just adore him. He's just such a wonderful character, I love that he comes across as so tough but yet as soon as it comes to Rose - he's an softie.

Another 5 star read from one of my favorites- I am telling you that you can NOT go wrong with anything written by this author. She has created this awesome world and I am totally immersed and completely invested.
If you have read this authors Inked series than you have met Bullet and Rose and you likely love them as much as I do. This book will 100% make you love them more, trust me it's possible. Bullet and Rose and seriously perfect, she is a fierce woman and Bullets love for her is equal in comparison. They are a couple that you want to mirror off of, they have been married for 30 years but still have this connection like day one.
The story is the perfect weave of the past and present that paints the perfect picture of a love story that isn't exactly perfect. There is a mix of familiar characters as well as preparation for a new series that I am so eager for. You are going to get all the feels from this one; humor, love, loss, lust and my word the steam. Grab this book I promise you won't be disappointed.

Thank You Emily for sending me a copy to read. this was originally a series Jade had read but there was no way I was missing out on this series so I managed to catch up just in time for this book and boy was I glad I did.
This is the story of Bullet and Rose, they are the leaders of the Devils Soldiers MC and also the Mother and Father to the boys within the Fire and Ink series.
This story was truly an incredible read and one I loved, getting to go back in time with their flashbacks and to read how these two amazing and loved characters got together was truly amazing.
Rose and Bullet really are the king and queen of the Devils soldiers MC and you can literally feel the passion between them, they really do adore one another and this is clearly for everyone to see, they are such an amazing couple that everyone looks up to. This book proves that even though things get hard true love can survive anything.
Emily this book was beautiful and incredible. I loved every second of it.

Wow what a truly amazing read, after following the characters throughtout the other books that interconnect in this series, this was just a pleasure to read,as we get a look into the background between two of the much loved characters within this series and how they actually find their way to each other.
Rose and Bullet are the Mother and Father figures for a few within this series but they are the head of the Devils Soldiers Mc . After a rocky start they blossom into a truly beautiful love story that rival the greatest.Even after years of being together they still feel the passion and love for one another.
Emily you have done yourself proud with this one yet again.I really enjoyed it that much that I read this book in one sitting I couldn’t put it down. Thank you again for letting me be apart of your team and entering the world of your amazing writing. I really look forward to what you have ready for us next.

The story of Rose and Bullet is an Epic love story. The have been through so much pain and heartbreak in the past which just makes there love grow stronger. The characters are so well developed that you fall in love with there story from the beginning. Everything about this story pulls you in and makes you want to know more not just about these two but about all the other characters. There children are firecrackers and I can imagine gave them a run for their money raising them. After all the years they have been together they can't keep there hands off each other and Rose is the Glue that hold the Devils Soldiers MC together. This is an EPIC love story that no one should miss out on reading.

Given that I had already met Bullet and Rose in the other books in the series, I knew it was a sure hit, and believe me I was not disappointed.
Loved that there were flashbacks to Bullet and Rose’s life, but I really wish there were more … more of their past … their meeting… their history… just MORE 😊
I just adore Bullet, I really wish he was part of my family! This is the kind of characters that you want in your real life. He is funny, loyal and a defender of those he loves.

Bullet and Rose’s story was everything I could ever have wanted! I loved these two in the Inked series, and now getting to hear their story- I love them even more! They are everything! Rose is hysterical! I was literally laughing out loud at her internal dialogue! I really hope we get to see more of the 3 moms work their magic in future books! Don’t forget Bullet, that gruff grump turned out to be the perfect man!
I am so excited for this little taste of the Devil’s Soldier’s MC! I can’t wait to get my hands on more of these! After reading King’s version of negotiating, and Shadow as the helper- I am dying for their stories!

What an exceptional prequel to what promises to be a must-read new MC series. Rose was the perfect Queen for Bullet, MC President of The Devil's Soldiers, I loved that Emily Rose took us on such an epic journey of their life so far together, I cried, I laughed out loud, but more importantly, I feel in the love with the men and women of the Devil's Soldiers, Ms Rose truly knows how to draw you so fully into this club that you are left in anticipation of the promise of what is to come as this series kicks of in December with Kings Story.

I loved this novella! The only thing wrong with it was that it was much too short - I didn’t get a big enough full of Rose and Bullet 😂
I loved seeing where the fearless Club King and Queen came from compared to where they are now! They are relentless in their love and passion for one another and aren’t afraid or ashamed to show (mischief to their sons horror).
The love they have for Raven makes my heart soar. I couldn’t put this book down and was sad when I came to the end. Job well done Emily!

💓💓💓 this book. Please read this book, before you start, " The Devil's Solders" series. This book is where it all begin. 💓 Rose and Bullet!! I Totally Love this series. Its A Must Read book and series. This is the King and Queen book, where it started.
This book is Steamy, action, funny, unpredictable, entertaining, wonderful characters, Choose found family, show all their love for them, their family and found family, page turner,romantic, and the boys needs bleach for heir eyes.

Bullet and Rose
This book is all about how Bullet and Rose got together. It will leave you smiling and laughing out loud. Some sadness but mostly funny. You get to visit with the gang from the inked series which is also awesome! You should definitely read this book and the inked series you won't be disappointed. Emily rose is a new author to me and has joined my favorites list.

Bullet and Rose
Wow Rose goes to a party with a friend and when she realizes how wild it is, she wants to leave but she meets up with Bullet and that pretty much starts their life together. Sad that there baby girl died and she will remain in their hearts forever, but Rose did give Bullet three boys. The club had some issues to work through so they could be more legitimate and that's thanks to Bullet and Rose and the other good guys in the club. Happy reading.

perfect wrap up
I read this before reading the Fire and Ice series and then had to go back and read it again after. It’s great to know Rose and Bullet’s background, but it’s also a nice wrap up for all the stories from Fire and Ice. Looking forward to the Devils Soldiers series as I know there will be more on the characters Ive come to enjoy as well.

I just finished my advanced copy and let me just say I am so ready for this series. Rose and Bullet are one sexy ass couple. I can picture Bullet being my "daddy" Rose man do I wish she was my mom. I truly loved this. Oh and trust me you will laugh.

I love how the chapters give you an idea of the past, but in a way that builds upon the present. Most authors can't achieve that, but this is very well done. I love what a badass Rose is. She takes no crap from any of the motorcycle guys.

Bullet and Rose's story is so good ....you can literally feel the absolute love they have for each come to life off the pages....and the humour had me in fits of laugher....I only wish their book was longer as I loved it!!!!

Hilarious
Oh I love love, Rose and Bullet! I need more of there shenanigans it can keep coming! Emily really has gun with her characters. I’m also ready for all the boys and the MC to have there own happy ending! Great read!

Loved this prequel, it has certainly set up for a fantastic MC series. Loved Bullet and Rose ❤️ and the rest of the crew sound amazing. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good prequel
I read this after reading Raven's book not realizing I read them in order. Rose and Bullet are funny and very loyal. Great scenes with the tattoo shop members, the millionaires and the MC.

Was excited to start Bullet & Rose’s story, but the past and present timelines just weren’t my jam. The new clubhouse made me think it was before the Fire and Ink series. By the end I realized it was after. Just a little confusing & not my preferred style of writing.
