Candy is in my blood. Beginning with my grandparents, there have been three generations of Jordans running the Pumpkin Hollow Candy Store to date. At an early age, I learned to stir fudge, pull taffy, and eat copious amounts of jelly beans. And now someone was trying to put a stop to that. With the Halloween season in full swing, it will take every bit of sleuthing ability Mia and her sister Christy can muster to find out who killed one of their new employees, and why. But with fall in the air, along with pumpkin spice fudge, the pair are sure to sort things out. Unless the killer strikes again… Halloween is celebrated all year long in Pumpkin Hollow. There are no paranormal elements, just good clean fun! And a murder, of course.

I enjoyed every minute of this book. I love Halloween but I admit I thought a "year round Halloween themed town" was going to be a strange setting, but it worked perfectly. All of the characters were great and the whole murder mystery was so well plotted that I was guessing to the end.

Definitely a good, entertaining, easy to read cozy mystery. This was the first one I've read in the series, but I was in no way lost and could follow along perfectly. I believe the entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited, so I am going to go back and read the others.

I am, of course, continuing on with my reading of this series. I very much enjoyed this one, and I was happy that it was fall-themed, just like I wanted it to be.

There were a lot of fun elements in this one, with a little added drama for the candy store crew.

I always highly recommend these books!

Another fantastic fun story set at Halloween time. I am really enjoying this series, the only bad thing is it make me hungry for fudge! Looking forward to the next book.

confusing

it was so confusing the way each chapter jumped so drastically away from the previous one, it’s like a missed step, and not at all like the other books

This book was such a joy to read. It had a little bit of everything you would want in a cozy mystery. It revolved around one of the new employees at the Pumpkin Hollow Candy Store being murdered during the first weekend of the Halloween season in Pumpkin Hollow. Along with the murder, someone is breaking storefront windows and leaving nasty reviews on a website. Join the Christy, Mia and Ethan as they try to solve the murder. There were twists and lies to go around. Who is telling the truth and what is the truth? The author kept my attention and interest throughout the entire book so much I had a hard time putting the book down. Nice plot with great lively, vibrant characters that add a depth to the read.

Candy, Halloween and Murder!!!

Candy Crushed is Book #21 and the last book in A Pumpkin Hollow Mystery Series so you know it has to be a GREAT series!!! It can be read as standalone.

On the Case for a Murderer . . .

In a town where Halloween is celebrated all year long, the Pumpkin Hollow Candy Store is ramping up for business. But when they hire a new employee to handle the busier season, Gina Callahan is found dead in the alley, storefronts are being damaged, and the store’s reputation is being trashed through bad reviews. Mia, Christy and Ethan need to solve the murder and find out who is trying to destroy their business before the killer strikes again.

This is another wonderful cozy mystery in this series! Familiar characters added to a fast-paced plot and a mystery to tackle, all keep the reader avidly following along trying to figure out who did what and why! Grab your copy and join the hunt for the murderer!

Aptly named Pumpkin Hollow Mystery is a perfect Halloween read to get you in the mood for pumpkin spice lattes, maple fudge, and everything fun about Fall. When Mia finds her candy store right in the middle of multiple mysteries, a murder of her own employee in the alley, a broken storefront window, and negative reviews, she jumps right into investigating whether it is one or more than one culprit causing this mayhem.

This was an enjoyable seasonal cozy mystery.

It's Halloween season in Pumpkin Hollow and the candy store is thriving. Mia, Christy and their Mom are so busy they have had to hire part-time help. One of those workers is Gina Callahan who was found in the alley behind the store with her car parked on her. Mia's husband Ethan is assigned to work the case, but Mia and Christy cannot help themselves and have to investigate on their own.
