Back in Time: a Bannock County collection

Rate this book
Preface, page 3: "In the following pages are images of many people who have helped make Bannock County what it is today. This is not a typical academic treatise or analysis of the county, and it should not be used as such. It is a collection of family photos and stories that are being shared.
Residents from around the region came forward and graciously offered their photos and stories for this publication. Many knew the stories behind the photos, while others called distant relatives to fill in the blanks of their own family history for you.
Our office was flooded with hundreds of photos from which to select. Unfortunately, we did not have room to reprint them all in this book. We tried to focus on everyday life throughout the county -- the farmer who bagged his own potatoes, the children's snowball fight, the young men who served in the war, and the businesses that built and rebuilt themselves. They all lived simply but paved the path for the way we live today.
This is their story."
