Good stories, but

This the second book by Pereira that I have read and I did enjoy it. However there was one thing that was a problem for me and that was I felt he had too many interviews in this book. Now these interviews might be just what some people would like to have, but to me they felt like he just wanted to fill up space in the book. They were not very interesting in the sense that they were about the individuals being interviewed and their careers. I would have settled for a shorter book filled with the strange and odd items than to read about how someone, who I have no idea about, got their start in their line of work. I mean come on give me the juicy story about strange disappearances, monsters lurking in the shadows, or bizarre deaths from History. Also I did like the little crossword puzzles at the end, but I didn't have away to work them or print them from my Kindle. Still I did like the book despite the things I wrote about this book.

Definitely different

This one is certainly different from most books o facts you'll find. Discussion on UFOs, Bigfoot, serial killers, hauntings, television shows, and more fill the book. Some portions may not be for everyone. Personally I did much care for the authors political views thrown in a few times to demonstrate a given topic. But otherwise enjoyable.

This book was a bit of a disappointment. I expected facts and information about more relative subjects. Although there were a few entertaining and enlightening moments, the book as a whole was uninspired and uninteresting to me.

A generally good collection of short pieces and detailed lists about various topics as expected with the bathroom reader format. However, I noticed a few, substantive errors that would have been easy to verify - and which greatly detracts from the credibility of the overall book.

But what I found most off-putting were the author injecting their own political and religious views in a very prominent and unprofessional way.

Hechos y personajes de lo extraño y lo fantástico mezclados con puzzles y trivia pop, una proposición certera para mentes inquietas. Mejor aún si lo informativo se ofrece desde una aproximación divertida y amigable, como es el caso. Lectura amena y recomendable.

Something for everyone here

An entertaining book that can be enjoyed a little at a time as most "Bathroom Readers are. There are puzzles at the end in case you have more time to spare.

Entertaining work and good to lay out in your living room if you have anyone waiting for you, At least they won't be bored and if you've gone over it already, this might help with getting started on small talk.

Not a bad book, but needs to improve more on it's stories to compete with Uncle John's Bathroom Reader Series.
