At a loss for words

I’m trying to understand the point of dragging this story out for a main character not to want kids. Sheena is a magazine editor, so articulating her wants should have been second nature. All of the secrecy was not necessary. The storyline was not on par with a good romance novel that this author is known for. I’m completely dissatisfied with Sheena’s reasoning for not wanting a baby. Please don’t ever write a storyline like this again. Readers want the fairy tale.

Selfish Love

I usually enjoy this series but hated this story. It seemed to me Sheena was selfish. There was no medical reason why she couldn't have kids, she chose not to. Logan wanted kids. Offered nannies to see about them but Sheena was just about herself and her career. Probably it would not have irked me as much if poor Logan knew about her not wanting kids from earlier on.

Love for these two is all encompassing!

Logan and Sheena met in a manner meant only to save her from a persistent wannabe suitor that would not take no for an answer. Neither Logan nor Sheena expected to be so attracted to each other so soon that within weeks they were contemplating taking their relationship to the ultimate level. One thing threatened to derail their relationship and almost did. In the end, deep and abiding love won out and these two are on their way to their happily ever after!!! This Members from Money story had me on the verge of tears wondering if the obstacle of one decision from one member of this couple would break them apart for good. I am so glad their love was stronger than any long held life changing decision. I enjoyed Logan and Sheena's story very much.

Surprisingly Great

What a good book its a excellent experience! There were so many pages where I am so irritated with this story, only because I felt so much is missing. But the characters are awesome and I didn't want it to end, because there is so much passion and the relationship is good, but because of the subject of their drama I will be counting the seconds. minutes, hours, days weeks until the next story will take away my disappointment. Now don't get me wrong I really enjoyed reading this series and I enjoyed reading this one but ending caught me by surprise. Plus I want to say that I don't want to spoil any thing so I'm just going to say that it's much worth reading.

Very enjoyable story.

I enjoy these stories featuring plus size and older women. There were some things that brought a tear or two to my eyes. For Sheena to stand by her decision took courage and I'm glad to see this. What I always dislike is the repeated use of the word (daring) in every story. What happen to others words of love and affection (hone, baby, love, dear, and sweetie)? There is no need for it to be constantly used. Also, I love these stories very much but why do majority of women get marry in non white dresses? I a romantic at heart so I enjoy reading love stories. Thanks you for giving us these stories to read and dream about wanting the love that these women receive.

Disappointing

I absolutely support and applaud a women's right and decision to not have children, bit be loud, proud, and upfront about it, not selfish. She went into that relationship knowing who he was, what hewanted, and what was expected. She was incredibly selfish, dishonest, and umcompromising. Did not like her character at all. I only gave it a 3 because I love Katie Dowe's books usually, This one is quite the departure, and doesn't tie in with the other leading couples at all.

it’s okay

OK so normally I’m a big fan of Kathy’s books this book just did not do it for me maybe it’s because we’re so used to getting a certain type of ending with the expectation of like a full family and in this case it was just not that so for this book it’s four stars because even though the author changed a few things it was drastic enough where it’s like I lost interest halfway into the book

Understanding Laspe

This story made me stratch my head, her aversion to children from occasionally baby sitting? Um just state no desire. Also error mentioning early on that sister is nurse practitioners and could go back to school to be an RN, which is far lesser degree. And the chomping mentioning of size was not as bad as some of the previous BBW stories but still had cringe worthy moments. But it still is readable just not a favorite.

Love Is A Bitter Thing

Awww this was a story to be told, what a different story.
I loved the way they met,it was brilliant.
Then his brother Lionel is the best he had me in stitches.
He's like a good penny, shows up at the right time for his brother Logan.
Is not everyone wants children, but she will change her mind soon.
Please Katie write a book on Lionel,he needs to come in a story.

Horrible Horrible Horrible

I really hate awful books and this one makes the list. I made my self finish it, but now I regret that decision. The book if we are going to call it that had no character development. Over and over she used the phrase career woman and never truly justified her decision not to have kids. This was an extremely sad excuse of nothingness.

Ms. Dowe will never have to worry about me reading another one of her "books."

Selfish Sheena

Ms Dowe I have read all your books in both series one and two, some I have enjoyed reading and some not. This one with Logan and Sheena not. Even though she has experience looking after her nieces and nephews, why would you think having your own child and a career be the same, she's marrying a billionaire. Anyway keep the books coming. Thanks

Nice Read!

I enjoyed reading this book and I know others will too! The chemistry between Logan and Sheena was so hottt that the pages from the book should have caught on fire! These two were destined from the beginning! I do believe everyone who reads this book will definitely enjoy it and I definitely recommend it!

Did not like

As much as I like these stories I realized that one of the main reasons that I like them is because of the children. She knew that she didn't want children she should have told him from the beginning. I believe that Miss Dowe wrote this story for the new age woman. Like most romantics we are old fashioned, I think that she is selfish. No more of these stories!

It Seems Unfinished

I actually love this book. But it seems that there is more to the story. I feel like besides the fact of her not wanting children, he still does. It is clear from the very beginning that they never used any protection. What’s to say that she isn’t? My question is: if she is how will they handle it? Worth the ride, read it!!!

Good Read

Logan truly loved Sheena. I was hoping she would have gotten pregnant by accident, I guess that was my only disappointment in the story. I know everyone is entitled to their own. Hopefully somewhere in the future I’ll read they had a child/children.

Editing

I really like these books. I don't know if she's writing them to fast, but every book has grammatical and editing issues. Whoever publishes her books needs a better editor.

Not my favorite

I’m giving it a three because the writing was good. But the whole I don’t want kids thing because of my family. And knowing he is the oldest and there is an expectation for a child.. it seems kinda sad to me. I felt bad for Logan.

Different but I still enjoyed

After all the negative reviews I wasn’t going to read this book, but I’m glad I did. True love will always prevail. Maybe we’ll read about Logan in another book and he’ll get his child after all :-)

Where’s the Baby?

Set apart simply by the content found there in, the book held me in its grips rooting for the couple. I was truly surprised by the ending, don’t get me wrong I love a good happy ending, but there was no baby. I just new that Sheena would find herself pregnant!

Sorry, Sheena was just too selfish. It's fine not to want kids but to deny someone who wants them and claim to love that person is just not right.

Children Lack Of

The book had a great beginning, but not wanting children kind if sucked FOR ME. I was hoping for a different ending but it was not to be.

Sheena selfish and uncompromising to the fact that I could not finish the book out of all of Katie‘s books. This one was the worst one that I have ever read.

Storyline is ok

There are a lot of errors on the book, like there need to be a different proofreader. The book was ok otherwise
