I was a normal, reclusive girl, dealing with the typical stuff. Like getting bullied by my hot, but rude ex-best friend and navigating my first job.
Around my birthday things in my town suddenly become... strange. My mom pulls me aside and reveals a shocking family legacy. The confession creates a snowball effect, and things get even weirder.
Suddenly, I go from being a normalish girl to being a girl with untapped magic, three potential love interests, a secret grandma, and a council of werewolves breathing down my neck. All while scrambling to learn more about a centuries old curse that no one seems very concerned about.
What could possibly go wrong?
Reading Order: Cursed Bound Shattered
*AUTHOR'S NOTE: Cursed is a full-length, slow-burn, paranormal, enemies-to-lovers romance. This book is NOT RH. Recommended to readers 16+ due to mature content and language. This is book one in a series and does end in a cliffhanger.
Nicole is an avid reader and a budding romance writer. Expelling words about other lives helps her keep sane and stops her family from asking why she spends so much time in her pajamas.
Her personal motto? Life is better with a side of romance.
I don't know where to begin. This book started out ok but lost me not soon after. To me this book makes no sense and it had no real direction. The bullying is weird, and yet when she finds out he only did it for a few months it's pretty much ok, but that has nothing to do with him still making her feel like crap in her own house for the last 5 years, and he explains it off as wanting her attention? This heroine is also very weak, and I just don't understand her not standing up to these out of the blue bullying while I'm public? I don't understand her being upset with her only friend for what's out of her control, but vlad is all but forgiven? Nothing like the only person who's actually been there for you and you turn around and treat them a bit crappy because of ur bratty ways. The council, the secrets grandma, the trying to figure out the wolfs, none of the story actually flows together, it's random from the first page till the end. Marc being a love interest? Confusing! All in all, this book felt like it had so many ideas that just don't really fit.
When I went to read this book I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it since I don't normally care for paranormal books or romances. However, I needn't have feared. I loved this fast-paced, energetic, twists and turns, sweet and clean, action romance. I'm just sorry it stopped in the middle of the story! I'm excited to read the next books when they are released.

Angsty teenagers are not my heroines of choice, but after a slow start, Nicole Marsh uncorked a story line that grabbed my attention and kept me riveted to my Kindle for hours. The story kept on picking up speed and I can't wait to read the second book.
I liked this book a lot, waited to rate until I read the entire trilogy and it was a good read. Slightly unexpected twists and turns, but I loved Mira and the world building
So, I rated this slightly higher for two reasons 1. It's book one of the series, and sometimes authors can do to much explaining or backstory they want the readers to know. And, I think you need to read book 2 in a series before you decide to stop a series because usually, it gets better. I'm not that good with identifying it all the time, but I think( could be wrong) that this book had a bit tooo much telling than showing. 2. I don't like to judge semi-new indie authors( she has written a few others before) tooo harshly since writing is a hard thing to begin with especially when you are doing it yourself and not getting professionally published.
Now, I like the main girl Mirabella and the romance that is building between her and Vlad, and I like how she has such loving parents. I also like how she and Marc are having a relationship. Mirabella seems like a good girl who is strong and has a nice personality. I like the whole plot and the set up of the book that is why I decided to read it from the blurb.
Overall, not bad at all. And, I will read book 2 when it comes out:)
This YA story was full of mystery and surprises.. Mirabella had no idea witches were real, much less shifters. So when strange people tell her she may be able to cure a curse she had never heard of, it is hard to believe their truths...or lies. It seems wolves are turning rabid with no clue as to why. The behavior of some of these wolves towards Mirabella seem odd, as well. With Mirabella not being part of a coven yet, it will take some time to find the answers they all seem to be looking for. Interesting story with great characters! The mysteries and curiosity will have you wanting more!

Mir and Vlad live in a town that is cursed. The town is literally divided. Wolves on one side and witches one the other. They used to be neighbors and they were best friends but circumstances came about and his family moved to the other side of town. Then he started bullying her. Now that she’s graduated things have changed. What an interesting and intriguing journey these two are thrown into to try to break the curse as they fall in love

“Cursed” is a paranormal romance with dark bullying undertones. It has a very creative storyline, with interesting characters. I fell in love with Mira and was angry along with her. This is an intensely emotional story and I could not put it down. I just wish I had book 2 as soon as I finished this one. I loved this tale and recommend this trilogy.
