Next thing I know, my spare grandmother pops out of the woodwork and insinuates I’m essential to breaking a curse that no one seems to believe in. Nothing is ever as simple as finding a magical cure to save humanity though.
First, I have to pass my witches exams. Then, the elders will attempt to help me save my town. On top of everything else, Vlad decides to channel his inner Houdini and pulls a disappearing act.
Now I’m juggling my missing rude, but hot ex-best friend (who’s now kind of my boyfriend), practicing magic, and holding down a full-time job with a boss I think is crushing on me.

3.5 rounded up. Minimal action, yet I couldn’t put it down til I found out where Vlad had been. The answer was kinda vague. Actually, a lot in the book was vague. All the parents in this series are idiots. Kind of feel this book was a filler for the next book. If I wasn’t invested in seeing how the curse is lifted, i probably wouldn’t read the last book.

I feel like I’ve waited forever for this second installment in the Curse trilogy, but it was well worth the wait. I devoured it. Adventures and action and amazing characters. I cannot wait for the conclusion!!

This is a fantastic book! Well written and I just love Mira😍🥰 she's hilarious! I am excited to see what happens in book 3!!!
