Fake news este o carte alcătuită după regulile nescrise ale publicațiilor online ale momentului. Toate capitolele confruntă și explică fenomene digitale din sfera știrilor false sau a practicilor apărute odată cu internetul și propagate prin intermediul rețelelor de socializare. În paginile ei sunt propuse soluții pentru tehnologii precum deepfake și realități ca cyberbullyingul și sunt prezentate cele mai elocvente exemple de situații pe care ar trebui să le evităm ca să rămânem în siguranță online.

If it would be for my very personal review - I would give it 2, maybe 2.5 stars. But I work in online media and it’s not exactly fair.
This is a very light book, with short and compact chapters about various aspects of the negative impact of the online world: fake news, deep fake, cyberbullying, revenge porn and many more.
I think it’s an excellent starting point for those new to the digital life such as: parents that are just joining facebook, kids who get their first smartphone or teenagers who are prone to dealing with cyberbullying, shaming and other dark sides of the online world.
I would have preferred more specific sources - although based on the mentions, you can google the quoted researches.
Loved the examples - although they were quite disturbing. Also appreciated the guides on how to do your own fact-checking, how to deal with cyberbullying and how to support other who have to deal with it.

Nichts wirklich Neues, kein Aha-Moment, aber simpel und anschaulich die Themen "Fake News, (Cyper-)Mobbing und Hass im Netz" auf den Punkt gebracht; wer sich bisher nicht mit diesen Bereichen beschäftigt hat, dem kann das Werk als (bebilderter) Einstieg dienen.
