Nicole is an avid reader and a budding romance writer. Expelling words about other lives helps her keep sane and stops her family from asking why she spends so much time in her pajamas.
Her personal motto? Life is better with a side of romance.
The premise of this is just not believable on any plane of existence.
Let’s keep this shit real.
No 23 yo foster system lifer, with 6 yrs bartending experience, and zero net worth could open a sex club of this size and level of opulence and service with cops, local politicos, and media paid off. Just fuck right on off with that bullshit. Seriously. It’s a HUGE multi-million dollar endeavor with a staff of 100+ (escorts, security, bartenders, kitchen and cleaning staff), the need for HEAVY local connections, and an iron fist to control it all that I just don’t see this 5’1” bartending veteran of 23 being able to bring to fruition in Chicago...yeah, the Windy City famous for its Mob and Politicians.
And if she’s all that...why the fuck wasn’t her apartment above this Vegas-level whorehouse secure?

Katia is found by her father and forced to marry Stefan but what other plans does her father have in mind. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, great characters. This is a stand-alone read and the story has plenty of suspense. I liked it.
I liked Stephan & Katia's story. Good characters. Lots of suspense with this one. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
When "to get over someone you need to get under someone new" does not quite go according to plan
Sleeping With My Surgeon is the first book I have read by Nicole Marsh and it will not be the last. I really enjoyed this funny, quirky, romantic, maddening and sexy short story. At the beginning of the book I was not quite to sure what to expect by it quickly became engrossing and I could not put it down until I finished it. Eleanor, aka El, is a surgical nurse who has recently lost her job because the surgeon she worked for has retired. She was also dumped by text by her boyfriend of three years on their anniversary. So let's just say she is feeling down and more than a little wallowing in her own take-out boxes and used kleenex. But all is not lost as she has a new job she is starting on Monday with a new surgeon, who she has not met yet. She also has a great friend in Sandy who gets her fed and into a shower to go out to a club and "get her under someone so she can get over her ex". Also at the club is Paul who was dragged out by his two buddies. Once Paul sees El walk in he knows he wants her. Let's just say that night does not quite go as expected for either of them. Come Monday morning and El walks off the elevator to meet the new surgeon she has been assigned to only to discover it is Paul. I liked the way she buckled down and did not put up a fight with Paul even as it was clear he did not want her working with him and was going to be difficult towards her. But after losing a patient on the table several weeks later they become bonded, or at least somewhat. Will they be able to have a relationship or not? If they do then will they both be able to separate their work and personal relationships apart? My only issue with this book were the number of proofreading mistakes which drove me nuts and disrupted the flow of the story for me.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

As a first-time reader of Nicole Marsh, and a newbie to The Vice Series, this was a pretty interesting read! There are a few brief references to dark events (possible triggers for some) but the story isn't too dark overall.
Stefan and Katia had believable chemistry, and their moments of sexual tension and intimacy were great! Sadly, though, I wasn't able to fully connect with the hero and heroine. Chapters alternate between their first person POVs--a great opportunity to see their thoughts, but I think I needed a little more differentiation between their voices (i.e. differences in vocabulary, manner of speaking and thinking, etc.) to get a better sense of their personalities. I also craved more dialogue, and would have liked to see the H and h interacting with one another a bit more.
All in all, this was a good, short romantic suspense! I was able to enjoy it as a standalone but I'd recommend reading the previous book first; I imagine that already knowing the heroine would make this story even more enjoyable!

WOW.....I could not put this book down! This is the first book I have read by Nicole Marsh and I will definitely be purchasing more of her books to read. Wrath is the second book in Nicole Marsh’s Vice series. (Each book in the series is a standalone novel.). This book tells the story of Katia, runaway daughter of thePakham of New York, and Stefan, the CEO of Remington Rifles. Katia is found and returned to Her home to face her father’s legendary wrath. Instead, she is forced into an arranged marriage with Stefan, however, nothing is as it seems. I recommend this fast paced novel with an intriguing and action packed plot, great characters, suspense, unexpected twists, and sizzling chemistry.

Eleanor is a surgical assistant and after his surgeon retired, she is eager to start with the new one in a new hospital. Paul is a surgeon who is going to start working in a new hospital. He hopes his surgical assistant is better than the previous one. I didn’t like Paul too much. I think he should have been given El the benefit of the doubt and not behave like an ogre. However, I like El, she was hard-working, respectful and competent in her work. Apart from that, I liked the book and enjoyed reading it.
I liked that El and Paul met at the club but their night did not go as planned. When they meet again and find out that El is Eleanor the new assistant for Paul. I am glad in the end they ended up with their happy ending and a little extra.

This is a fast-paced story that was one of those book s I could not put down once I had started reading it. The plot and the characters are very well developed with great chemistry between Katia and Stephan. It’s the first time I’ve read anything by this author, but it won’t be the last time.
