Izekiel is a man of few words who is a man of action. With Izekiel's autism, I really liked how Jonae and Zeke just allowed their relationship to develop naturally. Joane was incredibly invested and understanding; she desired to learn every detail about Zeke. I really enjoyed their love story.

I loved this story!! The characters created a safe and judgment free space for each other and it worked. Together they found solace and comfort while getting to the root of their personal issues. Jonae brought Zeke out of his shell, and he showed her true love.

Again, a cute, short read! I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was longer and things had a bit more time to develop, but overall it was enjoyable. Absolutely loved the autism rep though!

Ohhh.... I am so in my feelings Asia! You always write beautiful stories of love and family, but this one here, just hit me different! These Holloway men, whew! The love and protection that they provided for each other was everything! You could tell right away, that Izekiel was shy and very quiet. But, when he met Jonae, he immediately wanted to be his best self; for her! Jonae, although on paper had everything that one could dream of, she was miserable. Izekiel and Jonae had this intense pull towards each other, that neither could understand. It was almost otherworldly and magical the way that they connected to one another! I was almost in tears as Izekiel fought so hard to find "his" normalcy to be the man he needed to be for Jonae. Jonae needed Izekiel like her next breath, as he was one of the only people in her life who truly cared for her without an ulterior motive! I just loved this read so much! Great job! 👍👍👍

This was soooo good! Zeke literally had me melting within me reading this book for 5 minutes. Something so captivating about a man with little words, but BIG action to follow those little words. 🥺

omgggg this had me so giddy! I loved Jonae and Zeke. The beginning bit of awkwardness and unsure shyness was so real and true to reality (at least for me). And the immediate connection they had with each other! Asia Monique is such a talented writer she had me feeling everything and was able to write a story with two people opening up to each other, connecting, and falling in love. I can't remember the last time I read a romance where the couple was so in tune with each other and had such a deep connection that didn't feel cheesy or super insta-lovey.

Their relationship felt so genuine and god the confidence they had in one another was so deep. I mean the first dinner date they had Zeke was already hyping Jonae up through her moment of self doubt, wanting her to know/remember how amazing and capable she is at her job. I just love when couples are each others biggest fans; that is something I feel like isn't shown in romances too often and it should be because if your partner isn't your biggest supporter they shouldn't be your partner. And Jonae, I loved her! She was so full of life and warmth, and she had such an infectious happiness. I loved that she never hid how much she enjoyed things; she was always so genuine with her reactions, that's such a beautiful quality in a person (both fictional and real).

There's also such a real look at the complexities of family, and a beautiful peek into the support and strength of female friendship. The book isn't very long, on my kindle I think it was a little under 200 pages, and the author was able to fit all of this in a small page count without it feeling clunky, weirdly paced, or like an info dump is a feat in and of itself; for her to then make the story interesting and the couple captivating is just the cherry on top.

And my god the true romance that was in this book was just amazing. I know I'm gushing but I haven't felt this kind of wash of emotions in awhile. There were so many moments and passages in this book that were some of the most romantic soul connecting things I have read.

“When I look at you, I can see all that you’re feeling. It’s in your body language, in your eyes. Right now, I don’t like the doubt you’re drowning in.”

Her right hand shot out, and I instinctively reached for it, slipping my fingers through hers like we’d done this a million times. Why the fuck did it feel like this with her?

“I don’t like it either,” she admitted. “I’m not usually like this, but…” She looked down at our hands, and I did the same. “But on occasion, it happens, and I allow myself to feel it.” I frowned and looked up at her. Before I could ask why she would do that, she scooted forward and used her free hand to smooth out the furrow in my eyebrows.

“Did that frown mean you’re confused about something?” she asked, caressing my face. “Trying to understand why you would allow doubt to seep into your mind...” I placed my free hand on top of hers and stared into her eyes. “without at least fighting it.”

“Because when I allow myself to go through the motions, I feel like a real person,” she told me, leaning in so close that our lips were almost touching. “I want to help you go through the motions.”

“You’re already helping with that.” Her gaze moved from my lips to my eyes. “I am?” “Yeah, you are.”

Her eyes danced, like me telling her that was the best thing she’d heard all day. And because of that look, feelings I’d never experienced before slowly washed over me. I couldn’t comprehend what any of it meant, but I didn’t try to decipher them right away. I simply allowed them to seep deep into me.”

I mean how do you read that and not feel like you're slowly falling in love.

“Zeke,” she called breathlessly. “Yeah?” “Will you kiss me?”

I moved in, ready to oblige but stopped myself because there was something I needed to say first. Tipping Jonae’s head back, I gently stroked her bottom lip with my thumb while gazing into her light brown hue.

“You should know that doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will,” I said, bringing my lips closer. “I’m the last person to be telling you how to feel, but do me a favor and kill the doubt.”

“Can I be scared?” I nodded and brushed my lips against hers. “It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means, you’re about to do something really brave.”

How do you read that and not feel everything?! So long story short I'm loving this series and Asia Monique is already becoming one of my favorites. I'm also really excited to start Immanuel's book, and can't to read Monique's other series (I hear the mafia one is really good).

I feel like I need to give a shoutout to the booktoker that suggested this book because it's not the first book I read by her suggestion & she has not steered me wrong yet. Her handle is @ayannamarshay. I'm not sure if she's on other platforms or not but she's definitely worth a watch.

I wanted to read this book because I have heard so many good things about this series within the book community. I am always looking for new authors and a new series to read. This book was hot, sexy, adorable and I just wanted it to be like 700 pages and it still probably wouldn’t be enough.

The book has two points. The first is Jonae Martin and she has just moved to Seattle, and she is ready to start her own business even if it goes against her own family’s wishes. Jonae doesn’t trust anyone and is determined to make it on her own. But something changed when she met Izekiel and now, she feels like something is changing between them. The second point of view is Izekiel Holloway, and he was content with his career, the people in his life and all that came with it. Until he met Jonae. One look at Jonae Martin and nothing seemed right anymore. In fact, everything seemed wrong. What he once thought was a solid foundation now had one too many cracks to ignore. And ignore it, he would not. But can he break down his own barriers to get the woman he is obsessed with?

The way that this series was advertised to me was The Billionaire Brothers series by Lauren Asher but it’s black love stories and it was. It was beautifully written. Even though it was a short book, it was packed with so much – brotherly love, a friendship group who have all got their own issues but are there for everyone, controlling parents, autism rep that was beautifully written and I just wanted to hug the crap out of Izekiel. I love that Jonae and Izekiel were so heartbreakingly real with each other and they did want to bear their souls to each other and the trust was there to do that. Izekiel spoke about his mother and his autism and how it affected him, and Jonae spoke about the pressures she was under from her mother and the acceptance from her father and the conversation regarding her engaged and abortion. I love that it was sort of insta-love though they met in the first book. I loved Izekiel as well, he was just adorable and sexy and knows how to treat a woman that I would like a guy like Izekiel please.

There were no weaknesses in this book. I wanted this book to be longer, some people may like that it’s only 150 pages, but I wanted 1500 pages, and I'd still want more. I cannot wait to read more of this series and more from these brothers. I hope we see more of Jonae’s twin sister and that she breaks off her awful engagement and gets with the other brothers because I could sense the chemistry there from the few chapters, we got of them.

❤️Great Representation
❤️Autistic MMC
❤️Insta-Love/Lust
❤️Sweet Family Relationships
❤️No Third Act Break Up

This was so very very sweet and I loved the representation, I just wasn’t sold on the dialogue a lot of the time. It felt a little forced and at times very cheesy. I did love the family dynamics and how autism was discussed and represented, it felt very authentic but these aspects just weren’t quite enough to get me to pick up the next book unfortunately.

I would recommend it if you love a little bit of insta-love, diverse characters with interesting backstories and sweet family dynamics.

This book was a quick and cute romance read that had me cheesing. Izekiel was a man who was guarded from love for good reasons but to see him share his flaws with Jonae was so cute. Jonae was so sweet and I loved how she was patient with Izekial. These two were so cute together and I loved how they were both patient with each other & spoke to each other. I wanted a little more in reference to their development as a couple and their bond which I know quickly developed but I just needed a little more. I loved the representation of Autism and how we learned how Izekial was able to cope with his and the challenges he faced.

Ughh this was sooo heartwarming. I loved the way Izekiel’s brothers were so protective of him. They were ready to go to war for him and protect his heart at all cost.

While Zeke dated in the past, his autism didn’t always allow for the best communication with the women he dated. When he meets Jonae, something is different..

I loved the patience, understanding, and openness they showed one another ❤️

I love a romance where the characters are adults and speak their minds when they are thinking something. There is no tip toeing around a problem or miscommunication. I love that they speak their feelings so clearly and eloquently. This is how all adult romances should be. 💘

Jonae & Zeke

😩😩 This was so beautiful. The moment Zeke allowed us into his head, I knew. His journey to love was so amazing and sweet Jonae was perfect for him. This was just a beautiful love story about two people who were different. Zeke was intentional and Jonae was patient and oh so kind. I just loved thier journey. Lots of chemestry, lots of romance, lots of love, no drama. If you're looking for a little love story with a little touch of real life, this is your story. I love the way Asia has her characters express love in her books. It's so pure, so refressing.

Another great book on this series. Zeke and Jonae were fireworks on the page, I loved them together. Their relationship development was great and even with a shorter novel it wasn't rushed, honestly wished there was more of these two!! Wish their was more of these two in the found family setting but their time alone is also what made it special. I think Zeke was a great example of learning to be proud of who you are on your own but also allowing others to be there to support you through that and Jonae was perfect for him. Super great read.

Ms. Monique, I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment in the "Love in Seattle" series. It was so heart warming to me for Jonae and Zeke to find each other. She is definitely the yellow piece to his blue piece of the puzzle. The two of them just clicked and belongs together. I am always a sucker for strong, successful African American men but the ones that are considered not normal hits different. It just tugs at me a little more while I am pumping my fist in the air. Jonae had her own issues that made her not the average young lady as well. Both of their "abnormalities" mash them together.

This is an exemplary read, you will enjoy it. I am fully invested in the brothers and anticipating who is next to find the "love of their life." I am wondering how friendly Ishmael and Joanna became when they were forced together for a day. It's really ironic because this is the second book, I read in a week that the mother was overbearing. Both mothers setups arranged marriages for a status because it surely wasn't love. It is always interesting to read the family dynamics in this book. If by any chance you haven't indulged in this series, I suggest you do. You will be hooked with the initial installment "Dear Amelia." #💙💛

He felt like home to me, and no place had ever felt that way before; no man had ever made me feel that way just from a simple hug. None of it made sense because I barely knew him.

Izekiel Holloway was content with his career, the people in his life and all that came with it. Until her, Jonae Martin. What he thought was a solid foundation now had a lot more cracks in it and he couldn’t ignore it any longer.

This was one of the cutest and sweetest stories I have read! Without spoiling too much the situation was handled so well with Izekiel and I definitely think more books should include this subject. I also thought that Izekiel and Jonae had the cutest relationship and it was really nice to finally find a book that had both main characters actually communicate with each other and not have pointless drama that is never needed. I loved the found family feeling again in this book and I think it will forever be one of my favourites. I liked the fact that ‘Dear Amelia’ still had aspects also in this book, although these are standalones it nice to see them still connected. This story was fast paced, straight to the point, but still had me hooked every chapter, I absolutely loved it!

Izekiel Holloway is the silent brother within the Holloway clan. And his demeaner has caused relationship problems in the past, but when he meets Jonae Martin (friend and colleague of his brother's girlfriend Amelia) Izekiel finds himself wanting to take a chance to connect with her.

The story reveals why Zeke has trouble connecting with others so I won't reveal it here. What I really liked about Jonae is her thoughtfulness, openness and honesty. She really wanted to understand Zeke, The fact that she was talkative (self described as having "foot-in-mouth" syndrome) and highly curious was perfect for Zeke. Once she rummaged through Zeke's medicine cabinet and then confesses to him. In response Zeke, without being the least bit defensive says, "Find anything interesting?" I just loved these two as they navigated their relationship, trying to find common ground.

One thing tho, Jonae is a beautiful successful woman yet no one had ever bought her flowers before?

Amelia and Israel's story was book one. Sincerely Yours is the second book in the Love in Seattle series. I enjoyed both. Moving on to book three in the series.

My Heart is smiling

This story and me and my heart smiling from beginning to end. When Zeke and and Jonae met in book one of the series I got the feeling they were in for a bumpy ride. Zeke was a man of few words and Jonae was just the opposite.
When Jonae moved to Seattle and seeks the help of Holloway
reality branch of the company to help her find a house, The last person she expected to Help her find a new home was Zeke. She felt like he really disliked her. Let me just say he not only helps her find her forever home he helped her find the love she thought she was worthy of. While Zeke on the other hand found someone he could be himself around with absolutely no judgement.

This story had so many layers to it that I won’t write more because I m afraid I will spoil it for future readers.
I just wished it could have been longer.

I really like these Holloway brothers. This was yet another beautiful story. If felt a little rushed but just by reading the first book in the series I get the vibe of cute simple short love stories and I am fine with that. One thing I don’t like about reading series book sometimes is the mention of the first book characters. I feel like that first book so much more detail could still be shared and the mention of them in the second book only makes me miss those characters i was introduced to first. Like i reading about Izekiel but in the back of my mind I’m thinking about Israel. Lol. I also loved reading about a character on the spectrum and how they navigate through life and past and present relationships. It was refreshing especially it being my first time reading about a character like this. Great representation.

I didn’t think that I would love a Holloway brother more than
Israel but then you gave me Izekiel! This story is beautiful and well represented! Honestly I devoured this book in one sitting! Zeke and Jonae will make you truly believe in love!

Zeke is one of the Holloway brothers who is guarded and view the world differently because he’s on the spectrum. His past keeps him from things and people in his present until Jonae!

Jonae is starting fresh in Seattle. Coming from under her fathers coat tails and mothers disapproving eye. She’s on a hunt to finally live the life she’s always dreamed of. Making friend and meeting the man of her dreams in the process

These two will make you laugh, cry, swoon and get the kitty cat butterflies.

Asia did an amazing job with the mental health representation and I literally ate this book up !

I can’t wait to read the next one!
