Morgan Two Paths Pendergrass

Rate this book
Morgan was a half-breed born of fate. His father, Looks Twice, was killed in battle before Morgan saw the light of day and his white mother did what she could to raise him in a world full of hate. He knew he was different but his soul was shattered when, as a young boy, he learned of his true heritage. From that moment on, he battled with a lack of identity. Luck smiled upon him when a white ranch owner took him in and raised the boy as family. As an adult, with the loss of everyone dear to him, he indulged the desire to drink it all away.Little Star didn’t understand why she and her father, Low Dog, wandered the land. She enjoyed the ever-changing vistas but was confused about her father’s visions of finding a future leader for their repressed people. When Morgan and Low Dog crossed paths, Morgan learned of his Warrior father. Low Dog foretold of a world where Morgan/Two Paths would be the catalyst of change. The information ignited a spark in him but the alcohol pulled equally as hard in the opposite direction.Little Star found the man called Two Paths interesting but she was not looking for a mate - especially one battling a demon. Still, secretly, she wished Morgan could become the man her father envisioned. Out of respect for her father, she became involved and soon her hopes morphed into prayers. Was it too much to ask of Morgan to become the ‘Two Paths’ from the old man’s vision? Can learning to walk the Red Road pull Two Paths from his darkness? Will Little Star ever see him as the man he is destined to become?

This is another fantastic book in The Native Warrior Series. This is Morgan's story. Morgan's father was Looks Twice, he was killed in a battle before Morgan was born. His mother did her best, but the world was full of hate and he was half white which made the hate worse. When he found out the truth about his father it broke him. A white rancher took him in and raised him as family. But with the loss of so many he loved he started drinking. When he meets Little Star things change. When Morgan meets Low Dog, Little Stars father he learns about his warrior father. This book pulls out all your feelings. I cried, I got angry and it made me happy. An author that can make a reader feel, the way this author does is an outstanding author. Reading this book gave me hope. I am struggling right now with my mother's health. Reading this book gave me hope and has helped me see that fighting for loved ones is what we do. For a book to affect me this way is worth more than I can ever say. And that is the gift this author has. She gives hope in a world where it's hard to find it!!!!!

Love the series

I have enjoyed the series but more than frustrated with the ending with so many unanswered questions. It just hangs there. What of the Ranch? What of those persuing him! What impact does he make?

Good book, interesting read.

This is a pretty good book that I enjoyed reading. It is a romantic story that takes you back in time. The visions make it quite interesting as well. It is agood read for those who enjoy native American love stories.

Morgan Two Paths Pendergrass

This is a very good book, with a good story line, about a young half white native American man , who was helped to see who he really was,by an older native American man, and his daughter.
