This book was told from the point of view of several different characters who are all connected to Joey. It was a little overwhelming at first because there are at least eight different narrators and it was difficult to keep people straight, but as the story continues it becomes more focused making it easier to keep track of characters. I enjoyed everything about this work, from the author's writing style to the well-written characters. This is book 3 in a series but can be read as a standalone.
