For a witch with no power, she sure packs a punch.

The Campbell clan of ba’vonn-shees—blood-drinking fae from the Scottish Highlands—has unraveled the prophecy about Bé Chuille, an ancient witch destined to lead the fae to victory over their mortal enemy.

Alastair Campbell is tasked with the mission of finding the witch and putting the wheels of justice in motion.

Instead, he finds Ivy.

She’s a witch, no doubt, but one of questionable power. Unless you count the power she quickly has over Alastair’s rough and ragged heart.

Together, the unlikely duo travels the Highlands, seeking clues to the ancient one.

But the scars of Alastair’s past prevent him from seeing where the clues are leading.

And when the enemy closes in, Ivy wonders if she’ll ever be enough to save her wild and damaged lover.

Read the series reviewers call “paranormal romance at its best” and “a must read!” For fans of Kresley Cole and Jaymin Eve.

USA Today bestselling author A.S. Green lives in chilly Minnesota and spends the all-too-short summers on Lake Superior, which is the muse for her paranormal and contemporary romances. She writes complex characters, action-packed plots, and snarky in-your-face banter. And, of course, loads of steamy love scenes.

When she's not writing romance, she's probably watching Outlander or pleading (unsuccessfully) with her husband to don the kilt she bought him last summer.

Alastair pushed the self-destructive thoughts away to the back corner of his mind. They would never truly be gone, but maybe--just this once--he could let himself believe. Let himself see the two of them as Ivy did--as a perfect pairing.

5 stars!!

Alastair and Ivy's story is my favorite of the series so far! Their story of romance and acceptance was so heartbreaking in so many ways. Alastair's sense of despair and unworthiness made me want to give him a giant hug, while Ivy's sense of loneliness and unworthiness made my heart cry. These two beaten characters have had some difficult trials to overcome, but once their souls find each other, the healing slowly begins.

As is typical, our hero is a bit more stubborn than our heroine in accepting happiness, but Ivy knows exactly how to handle Alastair in order to bring him back to her. I have to say that the ending was a complete shock and had me in tears because of a certain character's death, BUT I loved seeing our favorite hellhounds again (happy and in love!!) and I am so ready for the final battle! ♡

My Alistair, the quiet, brooding yet protective blood-drinker of the Campbell clan...

Blood Witch

Alastair Collins has been looking for the Caller, the one who can bring all the Fae back to the highlands for the final stand against the BCB for months with no luck. He finds help in the unexpected form of the feisty little witch, Ivy Stone. Both have secrets, pasts that haunt their present, and only by working together will they be able to bring about the catalyst to call all the Fae home.

It is so easy to immerse yourself into the world A.S. Green has created! Blood Witch is an excellent read with an excellent plot and characters so relatable they could be friends or family (you know, if your friends and family were blood drinkers or witches).

Readable as a stand alone but much more enjoyable when read as part of the series. So excited for the final installment!

Wow! Exciting paranormal action packed read with tons of feels
Blood Witch (Highland Blood Fae Book 4) by A.S. Green reeled me in, captured my heart with Alastair and Ivy, broke my heart then gave me hope of retribution for all the Fae.
This series and this author’s other Fae series have building and building, gaining strength in banding together and working together. Alastair’s part in all this is made clearer as well as as getting to know him. In the series he’s been quiet, a loner. After centuries of misplaced guilt and humiliation, its no wonder he’s rather grumpy and gruff. Ivy is an unknown. It’s clear that she is integral, important not only to the plot, but to Alastair himself. There is a palpable pull between the two of them. Alastair tries to ignore it while Ivy in her innocence and curiosity wants to explore. Ultimately, the pull is too strong and beyond any ability to resist, their bonding is fate.
The plot thickens as the antagonists reveal their evil intentions, while Alastair and Ivy seem to make progress in their quest, and then utter heartbreak at the hands of Black wreak havoc for Alastair and his family.
Overall, the fourth book of this series is action packed, entertaining while also emotionally engaging. Alastair and Ivy turn up the heat and an amazing discovery is revealed in their steamy, electrifying bond which promises a HEA for this fated couple. But what I’m most excited about, is how this author has built this storyline over connected series and conclusive justice is just around the corner!
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.

I have been waiting for Alastair's story since A.S. Green introduced him so many books ago. It is finally here...and she doesn't disappoint in Blood Witch: Highland Blood Fae. We read about Alastair & Ivy. Both of them have complicated traumatic pasts. There is plenty of action, drama, heartbreak...oh the heartbreak...!! That was painful to read, I cried. The sex is sizzling! Blood Witch is an emotional roller coaster and as always A.S. Green throws in some twists & turns! 😊🌴🌺 I received an ARC for my honest review.

This series has been so great and I have been looking forward to Alastair's story and I was not disappointed. I loved that both Alastair and Ivy were so strong and that even though they have troubled pasts they are so interesting and great together. I loved that this book had everything I want to keep me sucked in.
I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.

Nothing hurts more than the memories of past trauma, unless it's the reality of the present. Alastair and Ivy both have this sense of being unworthy and not enough. Their finding each other may just be the impetus needed to forge a new future. But only if they can survive the elements against them. Will Alastair fail in his mission to discover the Bé Chuille, an ancient witch destined to lead the fae to victory over their mortal enemy? Will Ivy come to believe that she is worth more than she could ever imagine? Book 4 in the series of the Highland Blood Fae.

*this was more of a 2.5– The dialogue in the first half was just plain awkward.
