I met the author and loved her energy and it carried through into this speedy little one shot. Maybe it's a little more involved than a one shot but this was a delightful little novella.
I recommend for a spicy little read in the tub with candles. Get decadent with yourself.

A Chance At Love
Whether Roman and Nesa realized it or not, they were the other half to each other soul. Both of them felt like they were ever get a chance to have someone to love them. Nesa was trapped by her childhood and what she witnessed her going through, not willing to travel that same road she closed herself off. Roman felt like the sins of his past would prevent him from experiencing the love of the one woman who could drive the out the darkness in his soul. But what they both failed to realize is that everyone deserves a chance at love. I'm happy that they finally got their act together.

Pretty good 3 1/2 stars
This was pretty good for a short story. I wish it was a little longer to flesh it out better, but not not bad. Epilogue at least made it make sense. Not the biggest fan on these super short stories, just like the authors

HOT AND SPICY
I knew this was going to be a great read. Nesa is that strong, independent woman living life on her terms. Roman is a man with a past. Sometimes lust will find you and make you realize you want something more. This is what happens. An absolutely delightful, spicy and fun book. I can’t say more without giving a lot away about the story. Y’all just read the book, you can thank me later.

Lawd....this is HOT
Salt shaker is a fast-paced, fun, suspenseful, steamy short story. Nesa 45 and Roman 50 want to find love, have a family, but with the life they have lived, it was near impossible to get those things until now. I really enjoyed the characters and the flow of the story. Nesa is sassy, outgoing and isn't afraid to take what she wants. Roman has been a soldier in the Italian mafia since the young age of 14, and Roman is now able to go after what he never thought he could have. Salt Shaker is sweet, enticing and downright smutty. I loved reading every minute of this book.

Nessa is celebrating her 45th birthday, she is a strong, smart, savvy, independent woman who wants her boy toy, Malcolm, who she is possibly serious about to meet her group of best friends. But he’s a no show, pissed at him she leaves him an angry voicemail. Mid-sentence she sees Roman, a very handsome man with a hint of danger about him. That’s because he was “the” hitman for a mob family. Their connection is immediate and hot, he saw her from the VIP suite and was very interested. She tells him it’s her birthday and they should celebrate. He joins her group and takes them all to the VIP suite. After a night of drinking, eating decadent food, and dancing they get ready to head up to her room. He tells her he’ll join her after getting the tab, she goes to her room and realizes to late that he never asked her room number. Thinking he was ditching her too she feels disappointed. He had to get rid of all his knives, his weapon of choice, then his friends worried she is going to kill him if she’s from a rival family slow him down. The owner of the hotel is a friend and fellow mafioso so he gets her room number from him. Nessa is surprised to see him and once he joins her inside the suite they don’t waste time getting their sexy times on. Things go downhill the next morning when he tells her his last name, which tells her he’s part of the mob. She’s so upset because she has developed real feelings for him. He knows he’s to messed up for her and will let her go but before they part ways She gets a pic of Malcolm all beat to hell with a note that says he needs the package he sent her or the bad guys will kill him. Roman and his friends are her back up when she goes to trade the box for Malcolm’s life. Bad guys killed, boy toy was cheating on her, and she realizes she really does love Roman. Goes back to his place and they confess their love. Epilogue one year later them married and expecting a baby.

Wickedly good!!
When I read the synopsis for this book I knew it was gonna be bad you know what. And knowing it was from Siera London? Well I said, Toni stop wasting time and get to reading. Roman was a man who had a special talent who one night found the other half of his soul in Nessa. Nessa was out with her girls celebrating her b-day when after her fwb Malcolm didn't show she sets her eyes on Roman. Now I'm not a spoiler. Nope. You'll have to read the book to find out what happens. But I will throw in an Easter egg. Pay close attention, no skimming, cause there is a mention of 2 families that are part of a new book series coming out next year. Did anybody else catch that? I almost dropped my Kindle when I read that!! It took me a minute to finish reading it as people would not stop calling me! But that's ok. Good things come to those who wait. And honey yes. It. Did. The action, drama, chemistry was that 🔥🔥🔥
I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did. It is definitely worth the wait and 5 ⭐. I can't wait to read Silvio's story in Italian Ice! Also by Ms. London. Happy reading!

Salt Shaker was full of surprises and very entertaining. Roman and Nesa's love story was different and it was for the grown and sexy. S. London didn't disappoint at all. The story was lit and it had me wanting more and I was surprised about Malcolm . I recommend this read and you won't be disappointed at all. I give this book five stars and the Lunchtime Chronicles is very addictive.

They really fall heads over heels for each other until Nesa realized who and what he is. His lifestyle hits too close to home for her and she refuses to repeat family history. But it's Roman's life and knowledge that saved her and she realizes that no one ever put her well-being before their own. This was a quick easy read that was full of drama and a little action. I can't agree with how Nesa went after Roman not hesitating to tell him what she wanted, even at her mature age, but Roman liked a well-seasoned woman anyway, no salt required.

This is some serious ride or die love up in here. When the heart and body finds its soul, morals and ethics go gray real quick. The passion and connection between these two is beyond good. Their connection is off the charts hot. Great short read packed full of really good stuff. If you are wanting fluff and rainbows, this is not the story for you. This right here is straight up gangsta in a good way.

I loved it!!!! Roman is the man. Dangerous, deadly and loveable. The reasons for Nesa to not give Roman a chance is the very thing her ex Malcolm did, put her in the middle of some bull 💩 that Roman saved them both from. On top of putting her in danger, the jerk had a fiance. I'm glad she came to her senses and realized Roman had no problem going to war to keep her safe.💜💜

Amazing book!
This was an amazing book! Truly enjoyed the journey the author takes you on! The drama was just enough to keep you reading and the romance was so hot it sizzles onthe pages. Love the chemistry between Roman and Nesa it was smoking hot 🔥! Loved the ending you just wanted more. Great job Ms London. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed!

Not expected
This story was not what I expected and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected the typical gangster trying to go straight meeting the good girl, it this story was so much more. The depth of the characters for such a short work is remarkable.

The build up and the anticipation of this book was on point...I was dumbfounded when at midnight my Kindle unlimited was not available...but at 9am it was very available...I devoured this story...I love the meeting...the chemistry...the sex...the communication...the revelation...the fight...that punk ass Malcolm...the fiancee...the end...I would have killed Malcolm...and yes Roman does deserve happiness....

Salt shaker needs a Sequel!!!
Roman and Nesa's story was hot, fast paced and not long enough. The author did a really good job introducing the main characters backgrounds. Roman and Nesa were both lonely people who wanted more but never caught what that was until they met, love. I don't want to give anything away, but I really loved Nesa"s chosen profession and was intrigued and fascinated with Roman's. This was a very enjoyable read.

I need a soldier

Real love is always a safe bet
When love us real you know. You don't have tovwonder or guess and a lessons past doesn't matter nearly as much as what they are willing to do for you today. Messa was smart enough in the end to not throw away Roman's love and to accept that she was safe and cherished in his arms. No questions asked. Great read as always with Siera London books

Loved this installment on the Lunchtime Chronicles!! A lady in her mid 40s and a gentleman in his early 50s meet cute on her birthday!! Some great action, extra steamy smexy times, and a man treating a woman right with no times for games, makes for an excellent short story!! One click!!

This story grabs you with the first few sentences. Spicy, sassy, dangerous, sexy. Roman and Nesa scorched the pages in a fiery blaze with off-the-charts chemistry. Deliciously written. I wish it was a full length story. Well done!

I'm Impressed
Even though it was short and sweet, it was captivating and had me rushing thru my cleaning to get back to finish the book. Basically I loved it!
