Big Slick is the final book in the series A Good Run Of Bad Luck and should be read in order.
Sometimes being plaid is just too hard. Jak started out with Lindsey at Reed Security, but after being made fun of too much for his plaid lifestyle, he moved on to hang with the Cortell brothers. #PLAIDLIFE.

"What if this rugged guy is the one you're meant to be with? What if he came into your life to help loosen you up? "There will be no loosening up!"my dad shouted, banging his fist on the table.
If you read this book you know what her mum said OMG.
the start of the book has me so confused poor Plaid man can't understand why she doesn't remember him..yet it's like each time they talk she doesn't remember him...it's annoying what the hell. Thank God Guilia settled this quick it would have drove me up the wall if it went on any longer and damn poor Plaid man I'm dying of laughter at his expense..another drive by attack lol X7.
I can't believe what Plaid man aka Jake has gotten into his inability to hold his liquor has totally shot himself in the foot and shackled to Elle's family. I LOVE Elle's dad Jan the whole language barrier and his persistence at getting the answers that he wants is hilarious I'd be like Jake too and get sick of repeating myself and just give in. These two start out with all the wrong intentions and when life tears apart Jake's family he feels it's best to just be honest to himself and most importantly to Elle but is he! As bad as the situation gets I can't help but laugh does Jake really want to be part of this family I can't stop laughing at Oci and how manipulative he is and also how the rest of the guys rally around Jake. Had hoped for more on the Jo and Mason front but glad we didn't get to much as we really needed to get the know Elles family I just hope she can learn from Jake's mistake and fight to get the love back that she wants. Did she really cook cookies?
Best line ever- Andrew "Have you tried Mooing back"? Andrew really needs to keep his mouth shut.Haha.
I am going to start off by saying that this is one of my favorite stories to date that I have read. Regarding this story, we have to say we laughed so hard after reading it from cover to cover, are assessment is that this story was down right hilarious.
We loved Elle and Jake's story, it was so unusual that we loved it even more. Honestly, Jake went through hell in this story but, somehow kept his good nature intact as well as his temper and his pride intact for the most part. Talk about being railroaded, Jake was just that but, you will understand once you read the story if it was for the greater good or not.
Without giving away the story, we will give some brief highlights years ago Jake thought he had found the woman of his dreams and poof she was gone years later he meets her again but, this time she doesn't remember him. The next path takes Jake on the path of meeting six Slovakian sisters and a case of mistaken identity.
We could go on and on about the troubles Jake had but, meeting Elenora aka Elle was the best thing to happen to him but, her crazy family not so much.
We loved Jake and Elle as a couple they were perfect for one another, both so down to earth and genuine, and they had some awesome chemistry together. Their courtship took us on one heck of a ride with lots of ups and downs, but, saying it was a rollercoaster ride might be more accurate.
We have never had so much fun with a story non-stop laughing with scenes funny not funny but, those scenes were created from Elle's crazy family who had her best interest at heart. Loved the craziness of it all and loved seeing Jake aka plaid man so out of wack and in a tizzy all the time, it made the story even more hilarious.
No matter how funny the story was it was emotional too, not only was Jake railroaded so was Elle, and we wished their courtship developed organically but, sometimes it's just not in the cards for that couple but, perhaps fate had intervened with this couple and not just Elle's crazy a** family who we happened to love also.
A perfect ending to a really awesome read that we absolutely loved.
Personal note from this reader. If you have not read this series you are missing out I highly recommend it this series is awesome has amazing character and is down right hilarious and will make you laugh out loud time and time again.
First off I have to give mad props to Guilia for writing this story for our plaid man gah it was one of the funniest stories in this series. I think I was laughing throughout the whole book. I just have to ask are Slovakians really like that? If you remember a while back there was a girl who came out of his tent, and disappeared well he's never forgotten her and has been trying to find her, but without any luck until one day he see's her at a job he's working at, so after getting the courage up he goes up to her to talk to her and then she hits him not once, but several times and it ends up with him laying on the ground, now I don't know about you, but I'd take the hint, but not plaid man smh he keeps coming back...4 x's some reason he keeps coming back find out why by reading it. I highly highly would recommend this book.
Big Slick is the last installment in the A Good Run of Bad Luck series and it is fantastic. Plaid man always intrigued me and since his involvement in The Nut Low, I was waiting to find out if the tent scene was going to play a pivotal role. Giulia always delivers a fantastic storyline that is full of laughs and good times and Big Slick definitely fits into that description.
Plaid man, Jake, is an outdoor guy and loves anything to do with it. He is full of life and really just wants to have fun. When he went camping a while ago he met an amazing woman but then she was gone. He never thought he would ever see her again but then one day he saw this beautiful woman and had this feeling he had seen her before. While shopping with Jo, he saw her again and Jo realized that she was the woman for the night in his tent. Well, Jake was determined to find her again and see if she was single. He finds her but things do not go as planned. He tries to talk to her again and gets beaten up. When he tries to apologize, she has no idea who he is or what he is talking about. He is even more confused when she asked him out for coffee. This is where his life gets crazy. He meets her family and there are six Slovakian sisters with a couple of brothers and two crazy parents. His life is no longer his own and he has no idea what to do. Jake loves being a bachelor but can he change his mind? Will the guy's poker night help him or make things worse?
Elle, Elenora, is one of six sisters and each and every one of them is different. When Jake comes into the bank that she works at, to fix something, she is immediately attracted to his hunky, rugged and sexy man but is too scared to say anything. With her sister's help she builds up the courage to ask him out but he seemed scared and apprehensive. Does he not like her because she is not pretty or thin enough? Finally, they go out for coffee and things seem to go well. When they decide to go on a date is where everything goes crazy. When he meets her family she realizes that he knows one of her sisters but she lays claim to him. Her parents liked him and Sunday lunch goes a little too well but not so much for Jake. Can she show Jake that they are good together? Her family has laid down the law because back in Solvika things are done differently than in America. Can Elle get her parents to see things differently? When lines are crossed is it different for her than Jake? Will they be able to follow through with what has been planned? When tragedy strikes how will they both react?
Big Slick does have you laughing none stop, at the same time, your heart breaks for Elle at times. She is truly in love with Jake but sometimes that is just not enough. I have to say that this maybe one of my favourite ones in the series. Their story is one that is addictive as I was unable to put it down. I had to see what her crazy a$$ family was going to do to poor Jake and how was he going to handle it. Their relationship was so different than any other one that you could imagine as it did not follow the usual dating/courting rituals.
This whole series is a must-read and I highly read them in order as you get insight into the characters in all the books.
Hilarious fun and sexy romance ensues when Jake aka Plaid Man finds his lady love. I love these crazy nicknames that never go away like Jake stuck with Plaid Man due to his love for his plaid shirts. I loved seeing behind the shirt to learn all about Plaid Man. I certainly didn’t think he would turn out to be a sexy hunk but swoon! Lumbersexual deluxe as the construction worker runs into the woman from the previous story that wore his shirt, or so he thought. Yup, the woman from the campground crosses paths with Jake and he’s intrigued. Hilarity results as poor Jake pays the price for engaging the wrong women. It’s a group of sisters that look alike much to Jake’s chagrin. But it’s the beautiful Elle that has his attention. She’s part of a huge family with an interesting background and insane antics. Elle is the opposite of the sexy outdoorsman but the attraction is hot. Jake’s enamored and ready to take on their differences as well as her intrusive family. I love this crazy Slovak family that’s introduced in the story and I can only hope this interesting bunch gets a series. They’re too bazaar to be a one and done with the hints of the Czech mafia and gangs with the dangerous brothers. They bring Jake into the fold with the Slovak old world customs and courting practices. This story has all the poker guys, even the deadly Antonio, coming to Jake’s aid when he needs advice. Those poker games are so much fun as the Cortell brothers throw out crazy ideas. The lovely Jo is also in the mix as a good friend to Jake and a continuation of the previous story as a participant of that fateful camping encounter. There’s tons of drama between Elle’s family and Jake suffering a loss that causes him to rethink his relationship with Elle. I loved this addition to this fabulous series with a wonderful cast of characters and a terrific family and friends atmosphere. Sexy romance is front and center without very much town drama like some of the other stories in the series. One of my favs. Loved it!
I can’t lie I have been waiting on Mr. Plaid’s book to hit the shelves and the author sure did his story justice. Kudos Giulia for ending the series on a hilarious high note. While I hate to see his series come to an end,it ended with a great storyline and lots of laughs. Mr. Plaid, aka Jake, is just so funny and I don’t think even he realizes just how funny/crazy he is. I mean who but poor Jake can get drunk and pass out in the woods only to see a gorgeous stranger come out of his tent wearing only his plaid shirt. Then turn around and run across her in town, on several occasions, and she has no clue who he is. So needless to say his supposed lude comments to her cause him great bodily harm, again on many occasions. And if that isn’t enough while trying to fix the mess he’s made with Elle, he ends up getting drunk at her family’s Sunday dinner and wakes up engaged. From here the hilarity just spirals. Elle wants to convince Jake they are perfect for one another, and Jake just wants away from her crazy family.
Outstanding read that I can’t recommend enough. If you haven’t read the Good Run of Bad Luck series and you like RomComs, this series is a must. Big Slick may be the end of the series but this reader can’t help but believe we will see these crazy townsfolk again.
Yet again another emotional roller coaster. Giulia’s book have my emotional literally all over the place. Lol
I’m so glad Plaid Man got his HEA. But I gotta say I’m extremely glad he didn’t even up with who I was think hahah. My heart literally broke for Jake every time he didn’t get the girl but he made me so mad when he did get the girl but he became an ass like the others. I’m glad he pulled his head out of his ass lol. What he went through with his mom literally killed me it hit extremely close to home expect i went through it with my dad. Out of all of the men that I’ve come in contact with in each of Giulia’s book I believe Jake has taken first place when winning his woman back. He went above an beyond once he realized that he was self sabotaging himself! Through the entire book I was laughing so hard that I had tears running down my face lol looking forward to the next book in the series.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I'm really conflicted on how to review this. Although mostly well written, with oodles of humour, Plaidman just irritated me for 90% of the book, blaming everyone but himself, but he did redeem himself mostly by the end. I adored her family (and her), and yes like other reviews have said they might of taken thingsa bit far, but I understood that more than his personality transplant. Could just be head space I'm in, but the whole book just felt confusing and frustrating so I'm going to leave my review here.
This was one entertaining read. I had whiplash at times with trying to figure out what was going on and I commend Jake for keeping it together, for the most part. Elle and Jake have amazing chemistry and that just made the rest of the story much more entertaining.
Moo. Holy *#%@! I spit my coffee all over my iPad. Thank goodness I was on my balcony and not in my bed. Giulia has done it again with Plaid Man and Elle’s story. And Oci! I need more!
Wow!! That was one crazy ride. I think I have brain strain after reading this book...LOL! Jake didn't stand a chance against Elle's crazy family. You've done it again Giulia!! Can't wait for the next one.
Big Slick is Plaid Man's story, and I didn't expect it going the way it went (which isn't surprising) down LOL! Poor Plaid Man, he's always the bridesmaid, never the bride until he finds his person. Jake met a girl a while back, and he thought he would never see her again, but he did, only she didn't seem to remember him. I have to say that I laughed so hard at it all because you will never believe it until you experience it. Elle is from a very large family who can't mind their business for anything, and they have lunch every Sunday no matter what, so Jake finds himself joining them one Sunday on accident which definitely took him on a new journey. I have to say that Jake made some decisions that really had me cringing since I would have never thought it of him in a million years but you already know nothing is ever easy, especially in their small town LOL! You don't want to miss out on this one or all the ones before it because this author is my favorite & I'll NEVER NOT ONCE get tired of reading her books! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Big Slick is book six in the series; A Good Run of Bad Luck, which is a spinoff series from The Cortell Brothers. These books should be read in order to have a better understanding of the characters and town. This is a small town, insta love romance, focusing on Jake and Elle's journey.
Poor Jake just couldn't catch a break in this story. He's usually really laid back, charming, fun, sweet, and just an all around good person. Throughout the series the saying "nice guys always finish last" comes to mind when I think of Jake. Although we do see another side to him in this story. He had his douchie moments and self-sabotaged. And he really didn't do well under pressure. His jerk side came out and it was truly ugly.
Elle comes from a large family, and they bring family oriented into a whole nother level. She was kind, caring, but sometimes a push over. I also thought she was a little insecure, vulnerable, and at times her self-esteem seemed low. I didn't like how she let Jake treat her when things got tough. But she was always loyal and her heart was always in the right place.
This story was really funny, unpredictable, entertaining, and had some emotional twist. Their story was definitely one of a kind. If you're familiar with Giulia's Reed Security Series then you've met Jake there and know he finally deserved to get his happily ever after. Giulia is also still teasing us with Jo and Mason. Dangling the carrot and keeping us in suspense. She can be evil like that lol. What, oh what, does she have up her sleeve?!
Jake, Jake from State farm or Plaid Man as he is most widely known has been a reoccurring character in a few of Giulia’s series by now. From his first appearance in the Reed Security Series, and then appearances in the Cortell Brothers Series and now this one, fans of Giulia have been waiting for Jake’s story for quite some time and the moment has finally arrived.
Jake hasn’t had an easy journey when it’s come to both his love life and life in general. The punches have just kept on coming, though in this book they are not just metaphorical. Jake is a sweet man; a great friend and guy and he’s searching for his “Mrs Plaid Man”. Enter Elenora, but a confusing case of mistaken identity, a very odd family, and some questionable decisions are not going to make that search any easier.
I’ll admit it took me a big portion of the book to warm to Elle and her family. I could appreciate the humour that they were bringing to the story but there were parts that really got on my nerves. It lessened my enjoyment of the book a little but once I warmed up to them and the other characters we already know and love started to have more of an appearance I really got into it. Giulia brings her signature touch of humour and fun to this book, I loved seeing more of Jake’s friendship with Jo and when Jake was dragged to the infamous Cortell Brother’s poker night.
This book has both funny and emotional moments. A returning cast of great characters and some new eccentric ones, it continues the series well and I’m glad Plaid Man finally has his HEA. Bring on the next one.
The story has laughs, pain, secrets, second chances, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below, I would recommend reading those books(s) first. Maintenance Required (The Cortell Brothers #1) Collateral Damage (The Cortell Brothers #2) Wanted Dead Or In Love (The Cortell Brothers #3) Textbook Approach (The Cortell Brothers #4) Priceless Ink (The Cortell Brothers #5) Tangled Web (The Cortell Brothers, #6) Dead Man's Hand (A Good Run of Bad Luck #1) Drawing Dead (A Good Run of Bad Luck #1.5) The Dirty (A Good Run of Bad Luck #2) Ace Magnets (A Good Run of Bad Luck #3) Four Horsemen (A Good Run of Bad Luck #4) The Nut Low (A Good Run of Bad Luck #5)
This is Elle and Jake’s story. Jake has a hard time of relationships, and it shows in this book. This story is loaded full of laughs and will have you on a wild ride. They don’t have an easy road of a relationship but the laughs more than make up for all the crazy. This is in no way a standalone story you have to read the entire series to learn all about everyone involved in the story. You will get bits and pieces in every book. But you get the rest of the couple’s stories in their own books. But to read only one has you missing key pieces.
We have known Jake (Plaid Man) for a while now, first meeting him in the epic Reed Security Series and then appearances in both the Cortell Brothers Series and now A Good Run of Bad Luck. but finally he gets a book of his own.
All I am going to say about this book is it will have you laughing constantly through it, along with a few tears. Ellie's family is hilarious especially Oci, who to an outsider would almost seem to be along the lines of Antonio in his ways. You will also find out something about Antonio that you never knew, but probably won't surprise you.
Jake is definitely put through it in this book, what with a multiple beatings from women, drunken proposals, digging his own grave, animal noises, the usual jokes at his expense, absolutely no help at poker night, a devastating loss and a final act to prove his worth. But does he finally get the girl, or is she snatched away from him again? Guess you will have to read it to find out.
Giulia has finally given us what we have asked for, for ages, Plaid Man's story and it was one of the best yet.
Of all the books in this series this one totally made me laugh out loud all the way. We have seen pieces of the Plaid Man and boy not only is it him but he has a whole circus of a family making him go bat crazy. Giulia Lagomarsino shows us a side of Jake nobody really knows not even his best friend, Jo. Seeing Elle's family all up on their business was like an arranged marriage gone so terribly wrong yet you can tell there is some chemistry they never expected. Not only does Jake have to dance his way around with Elle's family but the sisters and brothers are hoot to read with all the celebrating they're doing. Jake and Elle are perfect for each other if they can just get away from the family and yet it is the poker games that helps Jake try to maneuver his way with the family. Word of advice make sure you have Kleenex for all the laughter you be doing you be crying of tears once you see what Jake does finally, lol. Loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
I've wanted to know what happen's to Plaid Man ever since he popped up in Ice's book, and man did this story satisfy.
Jake is the perpetual "Mr I'll Almost Get The Girl". He is sweet with a lot of plaid thrown in. And this time he is looking to write his own happily ever after. The problem is his lady love has 6 sisters who kinda look like her. What is a guy to do?
Elle is the one who doesn't like making waves. She generally goes with the flow, because what else are you supposed to do when you have a loud and crazy Slovakian family? Except this time she sees someone that makes her sit up and definitely take notice.
Hilarity ensues multiple time because Jake manages to land himself in one situation or another.
This book definitely gives you everything. From uncontrollable laughter, to moments where you definitely end up reaching for the Kleenex. It's a book that keeps you highly entertained and Oci is probably the major highlight of the story.
OMG. I never laughed so much about a book like this one. Eleonora and her brood of sisters will have your sides hurting from laughing. Big family with lots of chaos, and traditions that will make your head spin, or in Plaid Man's case get you beat up and drunk too many times to count.
Plaid Man has got a bad case of bad luck when it comes to Elenora. When he tries to get her attention he fails miserably. He gets beat up more times than you can count, but each time he goes back for more. He knows he can get through to her, but it just seems like she doesn't remember him. Well how could that be? Oh you won't believe how and why.
Then comes Elenora's dad Oci. Let me tell you, this man will have you in stitches. He's set in his ways, and doesn't listen to reason. He always has something to say, even if it isn't the right thing Plaid Man wants to hear. Oh, and rag on him about wearing plaid..
Another awesome book. Some of these characters are just plain crazy.
I loved Plaid Man’s story. Poor guy was beaten down at every turn, but he finally found his footing and figured out that the woman for him was there all along, all he had to do was man up, stop mistaking his girl for her sisters, and realize that what they have is forever.
I really love Giulia Lagomarsino’s books. She has a great way of telling a story and bringing out the authenticity of the characters. They are funny, flawed, kind, generous, and real. I loved this story of Jake and Elle finding their way to each other and Elle’s family was hilarious. I loved that the Cortell brothers showed up in this book a bit more too. It was entertaining to read about another crazy family, crazier than the Cortell’s, I think. This book was a fun read, but also had some heartbreaking moments too. I loved it and I am looking forward to more stories by Giulia Lagomarsino to come. I will always buy her books and devour them. I give this story a 5-star review.
*****5 Jake Stars***** I’ve been waiting for the hole back story of Plaid Man and it really is a good one. I was not ready for Elle’s family at all but I loved every single moment of it. Jake run’s into the women from the night in the wood’s and can’t figure out why she doesn’t remember that night or him (I was confused too). When Elle notice’s Jake she see’s something she defiantly likes. Elle just usually goes with the flow and who doesn't like making waves especially with her loud and crazy Slovakian family. Jake is always Mr. Almost with the women in his life but he still looking to make his happily ever after. Get ready for read of your life you will have uncontrollable laughter. Get ready for Elle and her 6 sisters and her brothers. Get ready for Ocia and co. I’m leaving so much out because this is a must read!!
Jake has had more than his fair share of difficulties both when it comes to the woman he lets in his life and the other challenges that seem to arise on a regular basis. When Jake sees Elle, he believes his fortunes may have changed however he couldn’t be more wrong. With each encounter not only doesn’t she seem to know who he is, but it also leaves him with more questions than answers.
Elle is attracted to Jake however and his unusual behavior seems to fit right in with her boisterous family. Through a series of misunderstandings, mistakes and mayhem hinder Jake and Elle finding their way to each other it certainly made for an eventful journey.
Not only are Elle and Jake exactly what the other needs but there is an eclectic group of secondary characters that make this humorous story even more fun.
This is the sixth book in this phenomenal series and is Plaid Man / Jake, and Elle’s story. Poos Jake goes through so much in this storyline, and he as well as Elle are completely railroaded, and he does not stand a chance against Elle’s crazy family and their antics. Bring into the mix the Cortell brothers, and the other crazy poker players and this is guaranteed to be a hysterical read with the advice they give each other. This is a beautifully written story which is fun, humorous, entertaining, and with emotions, family, witty banter, heartbreak, crazy antics, and love, which leads to an all-consuming and addictive page turner. I was hoping to read more about Jo and Mason, but Jack and Elle’s journey needed to be told. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
So we are finally getting Plaid Man's story, and it was a doozy. Guilia gives us a slapstick comedy of errors involving Jake and the crazy Slovakian family he becomes involved with while falling in love with Elle. Out of the gate, it's the hilarious high jinx of Plaid Man and Elle and ALL HER SISTERS---and brothers, and parents, and grandparents. I can only imagine how Giulia plans on bringing this family into the small town Indiana craziness---all I have to say is BRING IT!
The Good Run of Bad Luck series is still drawing me in and entertaining me very much. I suggest reading the entire series, so you get every high jinx, shenanigan, fight, allergic reaction, poker night, muffin bake-off, and arrests that only the mind of Giulia Lagomarsino can make up!
P.S. I'm still waiting for Jo and Mason to get back together (Nut Low).
Elle and Jake (Plaid Man) are fun and heart breaking at the same time.
I’ve been waiting for Jake to get his woman, after falling for many and never actually keeping one, I wanted to see him happy.
As for Elle, her family are something else. Her Dad is a force to be reckoned with, her Mum and siblings not too far behind!
I challenge you to find a better name for this series, A Good Run of Bad Luck, because every book lives up to the name! In fact, I wasn’t quite sure if I actually wanted Elle to forgive Jake at the end of this one! As much as I felt for Jake, and his pain, not to mention how long I’ve wanted him to find happiness over these series’, I still don’t know if I wanted Elle to forgive him!
Is Book 6 in the Good Run of Bad Luck Series and must be read in order. This is Jake (Plaid Man’s story Jake is mysterious and sexy. He works for Eric and always wears plaid…hense plaid man. In the last book he and his friend Jo wake up in his tent drunk, can’t remember anything and an unknown woman stumbles out in nothing but one of his shirts. In this book he finally finds his mystery woman working at a bank he us remodeling. Or does he?
This book is hilarious as most of these are. Jake finds himself drinking too much and proposing to Elle on his first date. What will he do?
You will love this story if you like fake engagements, foreign family traditions, big families, men in plaid, handyman, strong women, and good friends. Also as always humor and lots of heat.
Jake, also known as The Plaid Man, had been camping with his friend Jo when an almost naked woman burst out of their tent. Who was she? Why was she in their tent? When he sees the woman again, he tries to find out about the woman named Elle. In his quest, he’s put through a number of trials, many of which he hilariously fails. There’s some over the top, ridiculous events, a huge amount of Slovakian family interference, some sad times, and the love of family. These two! At times my heart was breaking for them, and others I wanted to give a bit of sense to both of them! Loved the grand gesture, he fits into the family just fine!
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
He thought she looked familiar but when and where? With the limited number of single women in town, he should remember. Of course with six Slovakian sisters that might hold a clue. He still wants to settle down. Maybe...if he doesn't mess it up. With the advice from poker night, and the big family, not forgetting his stupid mouth it won't be easy.
Plan to laugh, cry, shake your head, and get plenty of surprises. Like when he opens his mouth and loses his chance. Can he possibly get another successful chance? Great new and old characters will keep you turning pages hoping he finally gets the girl.
We start out with Plaid Man in this story. What kind of conversation is he having with Jo? Why and how did he get the nickname Plaid Man? Who inspired him? Who is Eleonora? Where does she work? What kind of work does Plaid Man do? What happens when he asks the woman at the bank about the tent? What happens when he goes to pick up Elle to go to lunch? I felt so bad for Plaid Man. OMG, things got funny when Katka helped Elle get ready for her date with Jake!! I lost it when Elle asked Katka, "Do I have to hold the canoe stick thingy?" This story did not go like I expected it would. There were tears shed. Enjoy the read!
Omg. I loved this book. We finally get Jakes aka plaid man's story. This had you guessing if it will go as well as we think. This book had me giggling about what keeps happening to Jake. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Jake and Elle together, it took me a while to get to liking them, but I did in end. Elle has a huge family who always nosey and what's best for her. Jake is always trying to ruin his chances, but he realises he wants what he always wanted.
This book had some very teary moments, but also had you laughing so much.
