THE MAGIC RING tells the story of Vadim, a boy who lives with his father in a small house in the villages. He goes to the market to buy bread, but returns home several times without any after he gives the money to get a peasant to stop beating his dog, another to stop beating a mouse, and a third to stop whipping a cat. Finally, he gets a peasant to stop kicking a snake, who gives him a magic ring. He not only has to tap it to get bread, but he creates a tree with leaves of gold. Then, after a king invites him to his palace to make him such trees and the queen steals the ring, Sasha ends up in a dungeon. But the dog, mouse, and cat come to his rescue and he gets the ring back, so he and his family no longer have to want for anything.GINI GRAHAM SCOTT, Ph.D., J.D., CEO of Changemakers Publishing and Writing, is an internationally known known writer, speaker, and workshop leader.
