I gotta say, I didn't expect to actually like the book. As someone, introverted, prefers indoors, and would immediately say "NO" to anyone whenever invited to hang out, reading a travel book would be the last on my list. But hey, I'm glad I welcomed the challenge.
Filled with guides, messages, recommendations, and more from Filipino Hodophiles (travel lovers), Gala will take you around the world in 400 pages or less. You'll get to discover and explore wonders through each of their testimonies... maybe even fell in love enough you'll actually find that push to finally do it. I was in awe to read their backgrounds, how it all started, where they are now, and stunned at the number of places they visited. This is a perfect companion read for aspirants, travel enthusiasts, and those like me who's still thinking it over.
But maybe this is actually the sign I've been waiting for—a change. To finally take that step and go to places I adored in movies, witnessed in books, and lived only in dreams. And this time, I'll hope I can say "YES". Besides, there's no age limit to how far you can go.
Thank you for sharing each of your journey. It's amazing, inspiring, and thrilling.
I would've rated it 5 stars, if only the format works well with my Kindle 2019. It also takes a bit of time to load pages on my Kindle app. However, I have no doubt that the paperback copy would be wonderful.
