Any book in the children writing genre should have certain qualities that extend the Periphery of any novel beyond the ordinary purpose of entertainment and reading pleasure. This novel by Sanjana is a prime example of a purposeful fiction that, other than deleting the readers, provides subtle examples of leadership skills in the general circumstances of life. I am sure that kids will not only enjoy the novel but also learn from it.

The novel by Sanjana is a mixture of entertainment and messages of virtue. It is exciting in nature and witty in characteristics. As the protagonist, Moony, a wolf, possesses a sharp mind since childhood and swiftly becomes the leader of the pack for the skills, strength and presence of mind. However, the real test awaits because Dark Pack is too much to hold. How will Moony get humans on board in the battle for survival? A young author has done great in terms of character building and plot development. Sanjana's writing offers a great addition to children's literature.

The Moon Wolf takes one's imagination to the place where one starts thinking in terms of what happens and what not, instead of asking how can this or that happen! Sanjana, who is a young child herself, has taken her story to the same height. There are shinning wolves from the Moon who come down to support Moony in his adventures on the earth... during battles and fights. Moony is a young wolf of promise and he goes on becoming the leader of his pack. However, the twist in the story is about men's best friends today... hope you find that soon! Do let your children have the fun of reading!

The novel by Sanjana is a page-turner and superbly written. For this young age, Sanjana has done wonderful and I must admit that. The protagonist Moony is a gifted wolf who can talk with humans and is loaded with qualities of leadership that help him lead the pack bravely and wisely. The work will take the readers into the animal world and let them understand how they choose their leader and what's the training process. I must say a treat to read from start to last. Ideal book gift for kids and young readers.

Sanjana's novel is fantastic because of many reasons. The first one being its simplicity, a straightforward storyline and a fitting ending. The second that I can see clearly is the fact that the author has written with many things in mind – an ideal fiction for kids, an idea hero for kids and an ideal lesson for kids – many advantages of being on the right path and standing up for the right causes. Sanjana's work will surely impress kids. It might be a little longer because of the chapters in the middle, totally worth reading!

Wonderfully written... not that I am saying this because I liked the author being young and doing all the hardwork! It is genuinely wonderful because you will feel the same way once you read it to the last page. The author has left her mark all over the script – acts, conversations, characters and their rise and fall, battle scenes in the end... everything shows that Sanjana has come a good distance from her debut with the unicorn... great work!

However, she has done her work so meticulously that readers will find every thread knitted in its most appropriate way and it will surely offer them many moments of excitement and entertainment. The novel is primarily targeted at young readers who love reading about animals and their adventures. Moony is a wolf who has some magical powers like the ability to converse with a human in human language... there is a prophecy that someone who will be blessed by the Moon will deliver the long-term friendship with humans to the wolves. However, there are many occasions of bravery, courage and leadership that are displayed by Moony... inspiring and exemplary!

Sanjana's novel has a classic touch in the story where good wins over the evils. The pack of wolves led by Moony comes victorious at the last over the pack led by mischievous Wolf Grey. Moony possesses all the qualities of being a good leader and he sets several examples for the pack to be followed. Yuki, Athena, and many other young wolves of the pack admire Moony and try to be the same... Myths about Moon and the prophecy about a wolf from the moon... the novel is intense to a great degree. The story is exciting and it never becomes boring. A perfect fiction for kids and teenagers who will learn many things from this fantasy story and enjoy this at the same time.

Sanjana's novel makes simple things special... she can ascribe special characteristics to a wolf and make it a hero while presenting the other one as a fierce villain and weaving the entire story around these two. I like the concept she offers – Moony vs Grey. Kids will enjoy it.
On the other hand, her adventurous, exciting story has a softer side. How humans and wolves come to terms and fight side by side... and human beings get their friend forever. You will like that concept too and may find it even more interesting than the general storyline of the novel. Enjoy!

The Moon Wolf by Sanjana Kanamarlapudi is written in simple language that anyone can understand. And this is the feature that makes it ideal for children and young adult readers. It is a brilliant story where wolves and humans interact with each other (thanks to the protagonist Moony). In the start, wolves were afraid of humans and they fear their presence but Moony does a wonderful job to settle down the heat between these two creatures and they become friends. Battle, training, hinting, playing, discussing... all the scenes have been detailed in a joyous and realistic manner and readers will love the same.

The main character of the novel 'Moony' has all the qualities to be a perfect leader. He knows when to show aggression and when to mitigate even with the enemies. At the end of the novel, when other packs of wolves attacked the pack that Moony led, Moony used all his qualities to save his group. It will allow the young readers to decipher a lot of witty messages from the story. The moral message, the message of bravery and leadership and overall, an interesting story are more than enough reasons to read the novel.

I have read a lot of fantasy fiction but this one is something different. The author is young but she has used all her creativity to write a masterpiece in a very interesting way. The novel never stops amazing you and it keeps you engaged until you finish it. It is not so long and it can be finished in one or two sittings. It is full of suspense, love, heart touching moments and acts of bravery. Young kids and teenagers in their early teens will be overjoyed with this work of fiction...

The novel uses imagination, a straightforward tell-me-a-story style narrative and wolves. Moony is accepted by a pack of wolves where it grows to become the leader of the pack and thus, becomes the bad enemy of Grey, another wolf that wanted to become the leader after killing Alpha. However, with the help of magical powers, Moony manages to lead its pack and grows friendship with humans who help the wolves fight out the wolves from the dark pack in the concluding battle... everything is so surreal and yet enjoyable!

The book 'The Moon Wolf' must not be categorised as children fiction. Apart from being a fantasy novel, it is filled with lessons of wisdom and a lot to offer to adult readers as well. However, ideal readers will surely be children only. It shows our perception of animals and tries to fill the void on how we might have come close to dogs, our buddies of the day! We love pups but we don't even think of loving full-grown animals whether they are creating any hurdle in our life or not. The novel shows how a noble act can unite two opposite forces. Though the immediate meaning of the novel feels common when you go deeper you will get to know a lot of witty things. A wonderful novel I must say this.

Great take on the interspecies relationship between wolves and humans. The story is a little witty, a little spicy, but full of emotions. So, I am sure, it will keep you engrossed till you come to an end. What I liked the most is the way Sanjana has shaped the character of Moony, a wolf and also the central character of The Moon Wolf. Sharp, Bold, Kind and Shiny. In my opinion, the writer did a solid job at such young age.

Sanjana's novel will take the readers on a journey to a different world where wolves and humans are operating in collaboration. This part comes later in the novel and before that, we are told about a certain different wolf who has come with the blessings of the Moon and is named Moony by the leaders of a pack. The author has used all her imagination and tries to present a wonderful story before the readers. Training of wolves, the teamwork of wolves, conspiracies and the big fight at the end. Moony becomes the leader of its pack and uses his power in a constructive way to make a bond with humans. The novel could have been even better if the author could have eliminated the details of the trainee session that might prolong the experience for some readers. A few images could be even better. Well, for kids and young readers, The Moon Wolf will be entertaining and enjoyable!

My elder brother's son, in class 3, enjoys reading comics and magazines for kids. However, this was a whole new experience for him and he appreciated the story for its originality and imagination. Moony's character has impressed him a lot and he wishes to know more about him... :) The novel by Sanjana is likeable and I am sure more and more young readers will appreciate her for the book.

I adored how the author gave an excellent origin story which means the words dogs are people friendly. Moon Wolf is a child's book on the way in which the dog came into human existence.

This is fantasy fiction written in the style of a fable. Though the fable part might be interpreted by readers as per their opinions, the novel by Sanjana injects the idea of love, compassion and trust. How we can win someone's heart by showing love and compassion is wonderfully written in the novel. Moony, the wolf that supposedly came from the Moon, changes the opinions of his mates, childhood buddies and the Alpha towards itself and proves to them that he is the true leader! The pack of wolves and humans were age-long enemies but the love of moon wolf towards humans connected them with a never-ending bond. The Moon Wolf will surely attract the readers because of its storytelling, suspense in the story and hidden wisdom in the story. Ideal for juvenile readers. Meaningful and purposeful fiction!

Moony's adventures as a pup, as a growing wolf and as the leader of the wolf pack are at the centre of the novel. Yes, ideally for kids who love such work, the novel offers a whole lot of an animal kingdom and its varieties of exploration. A wolf, Moony, who can speak with humans, envisions a fight against fellow wolves gone rogue, the Dark Pack, with human allies which is hitherto impossible to imagine. Will Moony be able to pull off the alliance or the pack that Moony leads will bite the dust in the battle? Sanjana has done fairly well as a young novelist and her writing will impress the readers. Well, at times, focusing on Moony at the cost of the plot might seem immature to a few critical readers but children will love a hero!

I liked the story. The imaginative prowess of the young author is unquestionably wonderful. Sanjana has written books before this one and she has been writing different kinds of fiction. But this one marks her growth from simple writing to layered writing and she has been able to create a world of her own where characters, storyline, plot and secrets play to her tune. The attempt is praiseworthy and I must say that her novel will attract readers of young age... The gripping plot is yet a little distant and I am sure the next time she attempts something like this, we will see improvements like succinct details and the growth of a few minor subplots adding more details to the writing!

The Moon Wolf takes the readers into a roller coaster ride with lots of entertaining and courageous acts of hunting, fighting, duels, the battle at the end and a resolution. Moony is the lead character and he is shaped in a way by the author that every reader will like. Moony is a wolf adopted by a pack of wolves... and he becomes the leader, eventually. He keeps the promises of relationships and friendships. He always thinks of the betterment of his pack. The story revolves around him and the author with her extraordinary skill of imagination and creativity ends this story on a wonderful note that tries to solves some old myths.

I enjoyed the eternal Moony and its adventures in the world that it did not belong to... Moony, as they say, came from the Moon with a shine on its face and wolves in the pack believe that Moony will change their course with humans, so far their enemies. Moreover, Moony, once it becomes the leader of the pack, has to fight a fierce battle to save its pack from the Dark Pack. Will Moony get human support? Will Moony be able to save the pack against Grey's hounding dark pack? The novel by Sanjana has all the essential ingredients that form an entertaining novel and readers are going to enjoy the same!
