This book absolutely shattered me. It was a phenomenal book and I couldn’t stop reading it! But, I ugly cried… like ugly ugly cried… it is so well written and the character development is top notch. Was it predictable at times? Yes, but then it would flip and something unexpected would happen. I would give anything to read it again for the first time! (It’s THAT good)
Many people say this is a sad sad sad book. I loved this book! There are some sad parts, but that’s not the WHOLE book. This is an adventurous, romantic, and mysterious book. I highly recommend this to anyone. However, if you are triggered by cancer or death, this may not be the book for you.
So much happened in this book. It was horribly sad, very sweet, a bit predictable, and kept going. The story telling was well written and the characters had good depth, but I think there was too much put into one book.
From the heart this brings loss and family to the forefront. what a mother must do to stand alone and protect her children while hoping her brother has sent her a protector. I enjoyed this so much, especially that twist of an ending.
Wow. Reading the reviews I knew it was going to be a tear jerker. I had cried by page 40. Didnt expect that. A story about being dealt with the not-so-great of cards and doing your best. Although it was an emotional journey, it was uplifting.
This book is absolutely awful and torturous. If a friend recommends it to you, they probably don’t like you. It is nothing but one bad thing after another for the main character and her family. It has a HORRIBLE ending. Horrible. One of the absolute worst books I’ve ever read.
A little sappy,. Sad at the end when Colt dies and Maddie lives, but kind of stupid along the way. Ella not forgiving Beckett and Beckett being stupid not to tell her he was Caos.

Beautifully written. Fair warning: It took me 1.5 hours to read the last 20 pages... simply because I couldn't see through all my tears! You have been warned
One of the most impactful books I have ever read. Trigger warning for families of service men or women... definitely worth the read. I have no words to how much this impacted me. LOVE IT!
This book DESTROYED me! The whole book isn’t sad and it grabbed me quickly. Laughed, cheesed and ugly cried. Also wanted to punch Ella a couple times but overall It was a good book!
