Ensnared and Exposed: A Dark Contemporary Why Choose Romance (Tricked and Traded Book 3)
by Darcie McQueen (Author)
4.4 out of 5 stars (37)
Kylee knew she was walking into a trap, but being caught by them was the only way to save herself, either from her enemies or the loneliness threatening to destroy her. But she never imagined the lengths they’d go to get the truth… or how much she’d like it, how much she needed them and everything they wanted to do with—and to—her.

Ben and his friends knew their lives, their careers, and their reputations were destroyed by an anonymous hacker. They’d even done time because of planted evidence. So joining his friends in capturing the hacker made sense, right up until the moment he saw her. Seeing her changed everything. Rather than torturing the hacker to discover who paid to ruin their lives, other more enjoyable options were suddenly available. But still, he held his friends back because she was so small, so beautiful, so vulnerable… but then her body showed how much she liked what they did—needed it—and clearly wanted them all.

But their shared enemy is still out there, and they will have to trust each other to save themselves. But can they? Will they? Or will their passion burn them all before anyone else has the chance?

Ensnared and Exposed is a fast burn Why Choose romance featuring enemies to lovers, bully, and romantic suspense elements. Steamy scenes, punishments, and dark subject matter—including mentions of childhood trauma—are contained within this book, so proceed at your own discretion.

Books in this series can be read as standalones and in any order, but some details about minor recurring characters/settings will make more sense if the books are read in order.

I actually enjoyed reading this book. Even though it was 170 pages and a really fast burn RH, I liked reading this book and the characters. It’s a standalone book.

The FMC, Kyrie, is super intelligent and ridiculous talented hacker, but with a very traumatic past. The best way to describe her is a shadow angel for her harem and there families. She did shady things for the right reason or from a protective standpoint.

She put her harem in jail to protect them, once they got out they wanted revenge only to find out it was Kyrie. Like I said before it was a very fast RH, so things picked up real quickly. But truths were revealed, questions were answered, a lot of communication led to the relationships and to the bad guy.

Harem: Ben, Spence, Mark, and Will

Sexiness: 4.5 out 5

The ending was so abrupt and I hated it. It was more like a happy ending cliffhanger.

It wasnt a bad book, very dark with traumatic past. Characters all had baggage and scars.

This review is of my own opinion.

A quick RH read, this one again has twists in it you don’t expect and the fact all three of these books intertwine is great. The FMC though small and petite is a little ticking time bomb but I won’t go into that further as that would spoil your reading fun!
The guys are a lovely mix, their stories are dark but there is still the sign of goodness and maybe all the darkness does in fact turn to light 😊
I would like a follow on book about Liam and all his darknesses

Such a Complex Story

High, high marks for DM for this extremely complex story. You must be on the genius IQ level. Spell-binding, crazily-intricate, breath-stealing, heart-warming story. Again your psych knowledge is awe-inspiring. I usually can’t read a book twice, but I know I can this whole series. Encore! Encore! Applause! Applause! Thank you for an awesome reading experience. To everyone else—Enjoy.

Peace In Surrender

What a great ride! This story, like it’s characters, has so many layers. So many versions of power, conflict, and surrender for each of them as they examine who they were, accept who they are, and look forward to who they are becoming. Not to mention a FMC that is fierce and force of power in and of herself.

A haven for the hacker

I enjoyed this story about a reclusive hacker and her relationship with 4 men. There are only a couple of sections that I found confusing but the story kept me reading in one sitting. It is certainly action packed!
