November 9, 2021DNF @ 21% - completely ridiculous - no relationship development - teen girl starts psychoanalyzing a 40’year old man she doesn’t know. And he listens. To a random teenager. He just met. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 and then starts fantasizing about her cherry. He literally has had one nonsense conversation with her. 40’years old. He had just asked her where her parents were. 👀🤡

Marcus is a ruthless casino owner that has his tricks to get people to pay their debt. One of them is Maria's father. She tries to get close to Marcus... they meet and everything changes... insta love, sweet,steamy romantic and with a sweet HEA😍😍 I loved how J/P alpha Marcus was👍👍👍

Control is the story of Marcus and Maria.
Age gap (18 n 39), Hot possessive moody alpha, sassy but kind and innocent heroine, her father is a deadbeat and he beat her father up due to her father being a gambler and she goes to his casino to talk to him and they have a heated conversation and he offers her a job and she accepts and they play tennis and have a hot moment or 2 and he’s really moody so he can’t take the world wind of emotions he’s feeling. After that she’s reading and waiting for her job as a server at a card game start but he canceled it due to his jealously taking toll on him. They have a heated conversation about their parents and past with them and they share their love for books and how she aspires to be a writer. He claims her after things get kinky and he’s happy. He plans a trip and they go on it and yeh. He finds out about her father and who she is and he suddenly becomes drastically sarcastic and dumbfounded. She gets mad and confused because he keeps manipulating his words and letting his raging emotions out and so she leaves the pool crying. He fights for her when he realises he’s become nicer because of her and so he goes to her fathers trailer and her father is drunk of his ass and she’s nowhere to be found. He finds her at his house or nearby due to some tips from his housekeeper and apologises profusely on end for her forgiveness. Love is partly about making mistakes and we all do when we love someone. But always forgive but don’t forget. HEA and 6 kids.
Solid 4.5/5, made me cry a little.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the A Possessive Man series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Marcus is a sexy as all get out wealthy businessman who obsess over controlling everything within his life and really isn’t looking for anything/anyone, but fate has other plans. Maria is sweet, trying her best to work/live but being the daughter of a drunk who keeps accruing gambling debt to Marcus after continued losses at his casino. Maria being the good daughter meets with Marcus to try and workout something, but the chemistry has them both distracted it is instant and intense. Will Marcus work with her, will she see just what kind of daddy she has, and is there happiness for them?

Lena writes such amazing books! All her men are alphas in the best of ways and are possessive of their women. Marcus from this book is no different. The moment he meets Maria, she is his and no other man better look at her. He also takes care of her needs and wants and spoils her, ensuring she feels his love.
When Maria sees Marcus for the first time it’s in the worst of circumstances. As the owner of a casino, he roughs up those that owe him money. Just so happens that Maria’s dad owes him a lot of money. Although he’s tough and controlling, Maria sees more to the man beneath the rough exterior he shows the world. She wants to be the one to help him stop being angry and let go of his control for once.
Their story is so good!! It’s steamy and intense while also sweet and emotional. Maria is everything Marcus could every want and more but can he be the man worthy of her love? Read their story to find out what happens! The ending is especially fitting of this couple and it’s a beautiful read!

This is book number 6 in the A Possessive Man series and focuses on Marcus and Maria. Marcus is a 39 year old business man who likes to maintain control of all aspects of his life and refuses to let anyone in. Maria is an 18 year old girl just trying to survive with a drunk, gambling dad who she loves unconditionally. After Marcus roughed up Maria's dad over a gambling debt, Maria goes to him to try and work something out. As soon as Marcus meets Maria he immediately knows that she is his but doesn't know how to deal with the feelings she invokes in him. Maria is determined to show him that he is not some unfeeling robot but a good man underneath the hard exterior. This was a really good story, probably the best one of the series so far, and a great addition to the series.

When Marcus meets Marie he is suddenly feeling a lot of new unexpected feelings. Maria is making him rethink he belief that he needs no one in his life. Maria brings out a softer and more considerate side. He decides that he will do whatever it takes to keep her in his life under his control.

Brilliant loved this
Wow so loved this. Maria lives with her dad who is a gambler Maria sees an expensive car turn up as she sits in the park and Maria sees Marcus McCarthy getting out and she knows she needs to help get the other side of his personality out the one with compassion, kindness and love and she is the one to do it.
Marcus gets bumped into as he exists his casino but the girl doesn’t back down when he expects her to apologise for her bumping into him he knows she is the one Maria is doing things to him that he doesn’t want to feel but she keeps on chipping away at him. Marcus is becoming a changed man even the staff he has around him see the difference and they like it. Marcus nearly loses his mind after an argument with Maria he can’t find her eventually he found her and vowed he would never let her go she was his as much as he was hers.

I thought that this was a great book. I really liked Maria and Marcus were great together. The connection and the chemistry between these two was amazing and scorching hot. Even though Marcus is twice as old as Maria, Maria is the only one to truly know Marcus and understand him and love him for who he is. There is a little bit of trouble for these two but Marcus and Maria's strength in love and each other can get them through anything. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Lena as a must read author.

Maria finds Marcus at her run down trailer park ruffing up her father who's drunk and has spent all the money in the world that they had. Maria decides to find out if Marcus has a softer side to his personality. Marcus is carrying lots of anger and hostility from how he grew up. He doesn't ever lose control. But Maria gets to him. He starts rethinking his attitude. Along the way he finds that Maria ground him and makes him want to be a better man for her. They have the most amazing chemistry. I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with a few exceptions. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Marcus was a mega jerk with control issues. Maria was sweet and caring but super sassy. Maria made a huge impact on Marcus right away. He seemed to think that he was staying in control and fighting her suggestions, but she just kept on doing what she thought was best. Maria totally deserved to have someone take care of her and Marcus was definitely about taking care of her. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Wow this book packs a punch.
There is so much happening from the get go that you cannot help but be sucked it to the story.
The characters feel real and you can feel them stand out on the pages as you read.
The post is filled with tension, hot and anticipating... making you eagerly turn each page page to what is going to happen next.
This had a sort of crime boss vibe that I love and had a kind of anti hero end up being a kind of Knight in a dark suit who ends up the one for the damsel in distress.
The lead up to the end had you excited and nervous all at once but in such a good way that leaves you feeling happy.

Control was another amazing read by Lena Little. Its book 6 in the A Possessive Man series but can be read as a stand alone. I have read all of Lena Little's books but Control is my favorite of the series. The chemistry between Marcus and Maria was so intense it almost melted by kindle. Marcus is a man in control of everything and everyone around him until he meets five foot tall Maria who comes into his life like a tiny tornado. But now she is in his life he is never going to let her go.

I loved this book WAY more than the last one. Not as much inner monologue by our hero and more action. Didn’t particularly love these characters and didn’t really understand their connection, except she makes him be a nicer person, which is a good relationship quality but still not exactly sure if it’s the main reason to be together. I don’t know, I just wasn’t feeling it. I’m up in the air about reading more in this series, which is sad because at one point I could definitely say L.Little was near the very top of my favorite authors.

She challenges him and her innocence brings out his protective instincts. Maria feels the attraction and can't help but push him to break down the barriers he has from the world. Delightful, steamy and an easy read.

An enjoyable fast-paced book six in the Possessive Man series! It is engaging, steamy, entertaining, and well written with drama, twists, angst, and more. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Maria and Marcus story really pulls at your emotions. First you hold on not to kill him, you know all alpha man, but you have to love how he loves Maria! Maybe she can tame him a bit?! A great read!

I really enjoyed this book! The storyline was well developed, the characters were complex and well developed and the story world was detailed. The writing drew me in and I felt immersed in the story! I always look forward to more books by this author and would recommend this book!

I love this author!
