About the author

Sujatha was the allonym of the Tamil author S. Rangarajan, Author of over 100 novels, 250 short stories, ten books on science, ten stage plays, and a slim volume of poems. He was one of the most popular authors in Tamil literature, and a regular contributor to topical columns in Tamil periodicals such as Ananda Vikatan, Kumudam and Kalki. He had a wide readership, and served for a brief period as the editor of Kumudam, and has also written screenplays and dialogues for several Tamil movies.

As an engineer, he supervised the design and production of the electronic voting machine (EVM) during his tenure at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a machine which is currently used in elections throughout India. As an author he inspired many authors, including Balakumaran, Madhan.

கணேஷ்-வசந்த் தோன்றினாலும் கதையில் கொஞ்சம் சுவாரசியம் குறைந்தது போல் ஒரு உணர்வு.கொலையாளி யார் என்று இறுதியில் தான் தெரிந்தாலும் கொலையாளியை ஊகிப்பது அவ்வளவு கடினமாக இல்லை.வசந்தின் காமெடிகளும் அவ்வளவு ரசிக்க வைக்கவில்லை என்றாலும் கதை தொய்வின்றி விறுவிறுப்பாக செல்கின்றது.நேரமிருந்தால் ஜாலியாக ஒருமுறை வாசிக்கலாம்

This is the 25th book of Ganesh Vasant series. the plot starts with a suicide and thickens into multiple homicides. as usual our lawyer Ganesh and his junior Vasant steps in to solve the crime. this is one of those stories where Ganesh Vasant are featured from the first chapter to the last.

I'm intrigued by the author's character development how he changes his characters appearance and interests without changing their attitude, with more serious and focused ganesh and witty womanizer vasant.

this is thriller with nail-biting pace, I finished it in a single strecht, I am literally typing this review at 12.15 am, that how much exicted I am about this book.

1 guaranty u that this book won't disappoint you. I would recommend this book for people over 15, it's a very fun, gripping thriller with few lol moments, and an unthinkable twist at the end.

கதை ஆரம்பத்தில் டி.வி ஸ்டார் ப்ரேரணா சந்தர் தன் கணவன் தூக்கில் தொங்க முயற்சிப்பதாக சொல்லி படபடப்புடன் கணேஷ் வசந்தை அழைக்கிறாள். சந்தேகப்பிராணியான அவள் கணவனின் மறைவு அவளுக்கு ஒருவித ஆசுவாசத்தை தருகிறது. ஆனால் அதற்குள் அவளுக்கு மட்டுமல்லாமல் அவளுக்கு உதவும் வசந்த்துக்கும், ப்ரேரணாவை கைது செய்ய வரும் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் இன்பானந்திக்கும் கொலை மிரட்டல்கள். போதாக்குறைக்கு கள்ளத்தொடர்பு வைத்திருக்கும் பெண்கள் மூவர் அடுத்தடுத்து கொல்லப்பட, killer on the loose என்னும் பதற்றமான சூழல் உருவாகிறது. கடைசியில் இன்பாவின் தங்கை பிணைக் கைதியாக கடத்தப்பட, கடைசியில் ஒரு பதற்றமான என்கவுண்டரில் அந்த கொலையாளி செல்லப்பா கைது செய்யப்படுகிறான்.கணேஷ் இதில் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் இன்பானந்தியை காதலிக்கிறான் . கணேஷ் - வசந்த் comboவின் 25ஆவது நாவல் என்பதால் கணேஷிற்க்கு ஜோடி சேர்த்து விடுகிறார் சுஜாதா !

கதையில் பல இடங்களில் ஒருவித dejavu (முன்னமே கேட்ட / பார்த்த) effect. கொஞ்சம் சினிமாத்தனமான என்கவுண்டர் கிளைமேக்ஸ். கொலைகாரன் கண்டுபிடித்த பிறகும் வளரும் கதை.

A fine mystery with an ending you don't see coming - well you sense something but aren't really sure. Written closer to the end of the millennium this has Ganesh and Vasanth using the computer for some things. Even without Google, they do a fine job of investigating and following some hunches.

கதைச்சுருக்கம்:

ப்ரேர்ணா ஒரு டிவி நடிகை; மாடலிங்கும் பண்ணுவாள். அவளது கணவன் சந்தர் ஒரு சந்தேகப் பிராணி. அவர்கள் திருமண வாழ்க்கை ஒழுங்காக அமையவில்லை. சந்தர் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்கிறான். ப்ரேர்ணாவுக்கு கொலை மிரட்டல் வருகிறது. ப்ரேர்ணா பிரபல வக்கீல்கள் கணேஷ், வசந்தை நாடுகிறாள். மேலும் இரு கொலைகள் (திருமணமான பெண்கள்) நடக்கின்றன. கணேஷ், வசந்த், இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் இன்பாவுடன் சேர்ந்து கொலையாளியைக் கண்டு பிடிக்கிறார்கள். இன்பாவுக்கும், கணேஷுக்கும் காதல் மலர்ந்து கல்யாணத்தில் முடிகிறது.

உள்ளே சென்றதும் டாக்டர் வினோதன் எழுந்து வந்து கை குலுக்கினார். முப்பந்தைந்து வயது இருக்கும். மேஜை மேல் இருந்த ஸ்டெத்தும், ரப்பர் தலை ஆயுதமும்தான் டாக்டர் என்று அடையாளம் காட்டின. மற்றபடி எம். பி. ஏ. படித்த ஒரு எச். ஆர். டி. மேனேஜர் போல இருந்தார். விரல்களிலும், மூக்குக் கண்ணாடி விளிம்பிலும் தங்கம். துளைக்கும் பார்வை. மௌனமாக ஏஸி ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்க, ஒரே ஒரு சாமி படம். தலையைச் சாய்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்த ஏசுநாதர் கரத்திலிருந்து ஒளி வெள்ளம் புறப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தது.

செல்லப்பா - நீள முடி, பெண்மை கலந்த முகம், காதில் கடுக்கன், அழுக்கு கலந்த ஜீன்ஸ் பேண்ட் போட்டுகிட்டு போன வாரம் குளிச்ச மூஞ்சி. கைவிரல் பூச்சு. எக்ஸன்டிரிக்...... "

Gripping thriller which will not allow you to stop thinking without completing the book is bread and butter for sujatha sir. Where this stories is different is not in the story but the travel that makes it go towards climax. I would not say climax was shocking, but it has some twist though. The title of the story is something that will confuse you while guessing the killer. Unusual though there were some logical misses in this book but even with those the book is one of the best thrillers that sujatha sir has written.

Go for it you will like it a lot. Sujatha fans must read. Ganesh vasanth fans again a must read as they travel through out the book.

கணேஷ் வசந்த் கதையின் முதல் அத்தியாயத்தில் இருந்தே வருகின்றனர். வேறென்ன வேண்டும் நமக்கு. வழக்கமான வாத்தியாரின் திரில்லர்.. இன்பா நெஞ்சில் பதியும் கதாபாத்திரம். இந்த கதைக்கு பின் கணேஷ் சிங்கள் இல்லை என்றே தோன்றுகிறது!
