Hawk was supposed to be dead and if that was what everyone from his old team believed, that was fine by him. It was safer for all of them if they didn’t find out that he was alive, but he couldn’t stay away from her, especially at this time of year. Maybe it was the freshly falling snow or the way she looked through her front window while decorating her Christmas tree that made him want to knock on her front door. But that would be a huge mistake and one that he wouldn’t make no matter how much he missed Patch. Telling her that he was in love with her wasn’t an option because dead men told no tales. Patch was better off without him and telling himself that was the only way he’d find the courage to walk away from her again.

Another great holiday romance in the RBMC collection. If you’ve read the previous stories in the RBMC, Huntsville, Alabama chapter, you know these brothers are hard core. Most are former or currently serving military or agency men. Men who do what others can’t or won’t. Hawk was just such a man. While leading his team on a dangerous mission, he was shot. His only regret was not telling Patch, the medic on his team, that he loved her before he sent them to safety, leaving him to die. Now a year later, Patch is still struggling without Hawk, the love of her life. But what she doesn’t know is that Hawk is still alive. He was miraculously saved but is now part of a secret mission and no one can know he’s alive, especially his former team members, or their lives would be in danger. But Hawk can’t stay away. He secretly watches over Patch one last time wishing things were different.
But what happens when he’s been double crossed and the only people who can help him are those he left behind; His love and his best friends who all think he’s dead?
Outstanding read. Grab up this quick holiday read. You won’t be sorry you did.

A military mission that went bad quickly. Leave no man behind is what we are trained to do. This time we had to. I am a medic for the team. How I got my name Patch. This time after saying I Love you to Hawk I had to leave him to die. Broke my heart not knowing. So for over a year I have been grieving my love that was lost. The team also was suffering. I am trying to start a new at Christmas time but I feel a present watching me. Then I get the chance to confront someone who was there!!!! K.L gives the readers another heartfelt adventure of losing love and getting a second chance to get it back. Now Patch, Hawk and the whole team will fight to get their lives back. Going back where all the pain started. Risking their lives to get the information that Hawk needs to be free if his hell! Hopefully bringing down the danger of the Ghost that haunts them all. Giving Patch and Hawk a chance at forever love. Another Christmas miracle!

The first chapter is pretty intense. Leading me to wonder if the book would flash back or forward. Two characters, one left for dead ames the other running for her life.
Patch, a hard core agent. Hawk the man she left to die. For a year Patch has been haunted by that dreadful day. One might waking up to Hawk in her bedroom. But how?
Hawk alive and well. Even better than he was before being left for death. Never forgetting his love, Patch. Forced to move on or risk Patch and his teammates deaths.
This was my first military style book. I was shocked at chapter one and hooked right away. Then I seen how short the book is. I enjoyed the plot and character interactions. I was disappointed, feeling like this book had so much more potential in the plot. If you like short stores definitely read this book. It is good I just wanted more myself.

Fantastic story, Patch was broken hearted when she had to leave Hawk to die when they were on a rescue mission, he was shot in the stomach and they both knew that she would not be able to fix him, so as he ordered her to go she told him she loved him. Twelve months go by and Hawk survived thanks to a secret military unit who put him back together, they told him that he could no longer go back to his previous life but he couldn't leave Patch, especially when now he thinks she and his old team are in danger.

Royal Bastards are the best!
I have enjoyed every one of the members of Savage Hell. Patch had to watch the man that she always loved but never told him die. For an entire year she thought he was dead until he showed up in her room.
Half knew he was a dead man and let the woman that he is always loved leave him in the woods. He woke up after surgery to find he have been saved by military group. Now that patch and his team are in danger It's time to tell her how he feels about her.

Patched for Christmas is book five in the Royal Bastards MC Series and Patch and Hawk’s story. Patch and Hawk serve together in the military and a mission gone wrong changes everything. I really admired Patch, and my heart went out to her and everything she goes through. Will Hawk and Patch get a chance at their happy ever after? Read and find out for yourself, you’ll be happy you did. Another amazing addition to this series and one I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

K.L. winds you up in a book and slowly sends you toppling down. To think that your one true love is dead and gone not coming back is actually very much alive and standing in your bedroom while you were sleeping. It is very hard to wrap your head around. Now that Hawk knows he isn't working for the government, he wants to find out who put him back together and take them down. Patch is afraid that Hawk doesn't love her like she loves him.

Not at all what I expected of a Royal B MC story, only a novella but the climax wasn't really much, it seemed more about the build up and Hawk explaining to Patch and his friends. It was interesting and well written, great characters and I hope that maybe there is more explanation and character depth in the main books. I thought I had read one or two of them already but nothing in this was familier. Worth reading but maybe look at the earlier books first, this was #5.

Talk about tragic love.
Patch loved Hawk but things just weren’t meant to be as patch lost the love of her life. Talk about a missing one wrong.
But things aren’t a,ways as they seem. When the truth comes out everything changes.

Love the series and those linked
Good storyline as always, slightly disappointed in the lack of continuity from previous book about Rachet and Laney. Laney had discovered she was pregnant with twins, 1 of each, this book refers only to Rachet and Laney having a son. Usually K,L continuity is spot on.

Why
This author is typically always a win for me. The book had it all, love, action, and suspense. However, I can’t get over the error with Laney’s babies. She was pregnant with twins not a singleton. Sadly, this took away from the overall quality of the book, and makes it sloppy. I hope this gets corrected and the following books address it correctly.

Short military mc story
Hawk military and mc was on a mission that end bad. He should have died he told his team to leave him to protect them. Little did he know he be patched up by a group he thought was the military turns out they weren't. A year he lost with his team and his love for nothing. Great story. My heart felt so many emotions for what Parch has been through. She is such an amazing person. Loved her attitude and spunk. Leaving the love of her life in the forest and trying to move on, then coming back from the dead. Omg. Too good.

Sweet
Loved patch and Hawk. They were in love but tragedy struck. Patch stayed in love and questioned herself while trying to pick up re pieces. Until the pieces out themselves back together.

The Royal Bastards MC series is so good. I love how each chapter is written by a different author. Patch and Hawk work together with Ratchet. Hawk finds his way back to Patch and the RBMC. A fast paced Christmas novella.

Quick Read!
I am usually a big fan of this author and her writing, but this missed the mark for me. Storyline was rushed and didn’t do justice for the characters that have been longing for each other. I still recommend this author and her books.

Patch and Hawk FINALLY get on the same page but of course, in true RBMC fashion, the road getting there is not easy. Loved the storyline! Seriously smexy NSFW scenes and great HEA. Loved it!!!

Love this story!
Patch and Hawk were working together and a tragic fail mission separated them for a year. But Hawk show up at her door from the dead and she was not letting him go. I love RBMC series, but this chapter is different and I love it. Can't wait for the next story.

It was way 2 short!!!! And it feels 2 me that it's half way done at most. There's alot of things missing. It doesn't make sense. It starts out ok and then it just ends abruptly with no answers. So far the series r ok but 4 sum reason this one is seriously lacking. I'm disappointed.
