Destination Daddies

All the Queen's Men

Rate this book
When your bestie is too shy to go after what he needs, the obvious answer is to drag him along as your fake boyfriend when you’re hired as entertainment at a swanky London hotel. And no, bitch. That’s not just my way of sneaking in the chance to finally kiss his sweet lips before I find him the Daddy he needs.

Isaac:
Secretly being in love with your best friend isn’t just dumb, it’s hopeless. How do I know? First, because this is real life, not a romance novel. Second, because Jules is fabulous, and I most definitely am not. And third, because he’s trying to find me a Daddy. And Jules? Jules is definitely not Daddy material.

Roman:
The job offer from a rival finance firm would have been an automatic no for me, if it hadn’t come with a kinky carrot. Hell, who am I kidding, it’s still a no. I’m happy where I’m at, content with my life in New York City, and have no interest in living in London. But flying out to take a look can’t hurt, especially since the old friend who’s trying to get me to come on board with the company dangles that carrot in front of me: an all-expenses-paid weekend at a swanky hotel, sponsored by the kinky dating app, Cuffd. Because the one thing New York is missing is a boy of my own.

Jules:
I’m too much for most men, but their loss. If they can’t handle my fabulousness out of drag, meeting Diva D. Light is guaranteed to send them running. The one man who adores all of me is my bestie, and yes, bitch, I’ve thought of going there. I can’t do it to him, though. He’s shy and sweet and pure as the driven snow, if you catch my drift. He deserves someone who can take care of him, and I don’t just mean finally popping his ass cherry, which is totally not my thing. Isaac needs a Daddy, and since I’m selfless like that, I’m going to make it happen for him… even if Diva D. Light wants to scratch someone’s eyes out at the thought of giving him up.

All the Queen’s Men is a fabulous m/m/m Daddy-kink romance with too many cherries, the perfect amount of boys, and an excessive number of platform boots. (Just kidding. There is no such thing as too many pairs of platform boots.) This book is part of the Destination Daddies multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many destinations and Daddies to discover, why not grab them all?

I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.

This was honestly underwhelming.
- Maximum Insta-love
- Long drawn out sex scenes and I skimmed.
- Too many petnames
- Too much internal dialogue
- Alot of stuttering

I was expecting a better book tbh.

Oh my, what a deliciousness, sweetness, fun, adoration, it was everything.

This author writes the best sparkling stories.

Two best friends, secretly in love with the other. One is SUPER shy and innocent the other is sassy, haughty, and a huge attitude, but both are oh so vulnerable.

Jules found a Daddy for Isaac, just for the weekend. Isaac can give away his sherry. Jules will be with him all the way.
From the first moment, Daddy Roman sees the boys he’s smitten and doesn’t want to give them up, ever. Jules thinks he doesn’t need a Daddy and is way too much for anyone.

What follows is a super sexy, hot, steamy, and adorable story. Hugely entertaining and enjoyable!

My heart cracked with the hurtful moments, my face hurt from smiling about the amazing personality of Jules / Diva, excellently done! And my heart swelled with all the possessiveness and all the rightness coming from Daddy.

I absolutely adored this sexy, vibrant story with three adorable men.
It was full of sparkle, glitter, and light. It made my day!

Fun, sexy, and exciting entertainment !
Jules is a drag queen, Diva D Light,

and is on a mission to get his/her BFF,
Isaac, a Daddy and his first time sex.

At a Daddy/boy gathering where Diva performs, they meet
Roman, an older, tall, dark and handsome Daddy.

Roman sees a chance to have two boys, and he's the man who can handle it.

Sassy talk from Jules, and sweet boy, Isaac, are a challenge Roman can meet.

We get lots of anticipation, hopes, fears and confusion, but all the focus is on Isaac. Jules doesn't think he's part of the deal long term, but Roman will show him what he needs, as well as the inexperienced Isaac.

The super hot sexy weekend shows them all what they can have.
This is fun, hot and sexy, with a fabulous Daddy, and two needy boys, which gives us a fantastic story.

I was told that Chara Croft was the ideal writer for good Daddy/boy tales, and it's true!
ENJOY !

Oh goodie. I usually adore Chara's book, but not this one. Too over the top. Look, I love a good Daddy/boy book. But there is a fine line, because while I like it when the boy let the Daddy take charge, it must be because the boy LET him, not because he is incapable to be an adult and run his own life. Isaac is all innocence and big eyes and tears that I can't believe he survived the 21st century up till now. And maybe this is personal, but I don't find constant stammering and tears appealing at all.

Then there is Jules. Over the top and flamboyant, but about a thousand silly endearments too many. He keeps calling Isaac his buttercup, his sugar plum, his lamb, his boo... it is annoying and demeaning to Isaac. I just did not like it.

Roman was fine, but by the time we met him, I was already annoyed and not in the mood. I was THIS close to DNF but I keep hoping it get better. It did not.

Again, this is totally me. It was not a bad book, just my personal taste that made me dislike it. YMMV

I keep waiting for the next Chara Croft book to be as good as Dear Daddy Please Spank Me and I’m still left waiting. Hope it’ll happen eventually. Would be a real shame if Dear Daddy was the exception, not the rule and it turned out to be a one hit wonder for this author.

*fans self* A needy boy, a drama queen (which hides a fragile heart) and a solid, dependable Daddy. This is the Daddiest of all Daddy books! Completely unputdownable and sizzling hot - the epic *want* is palpable and soooo delicious. Written to completely grab the reader with oodles of delightful (and hilarious) internal dialogue, I reckon I'll be re-reading this regularly when I need some sizzle, sass and sighs.

So much delicious mm fun

I love triad stories and this is another really fun one in this series. I especially enjoyed how the inner voices of the three main characters sounded so different from each other. With an over the top character such as Jules it would have been easy for him to over power the other two, but the authors kept what must have been a difficult balance between them. So much sweetness.

This one was so good! It is a friends to lovers and also a poly romance. It is about two best friends, Isaac and Jules who know that they can't be with the other needs but love each other anyway. When Jules decides that it's time for Isaac to meet a daddy, he brings him to one of his drag shows which happens to be at a convention and they meet up with Roman. Roman is some business dude who lives in New York but has a job offer in London but wasn't going to take it, that is until he meets Isaac and Jules. This is very much a insta Romance insta love but it just works. Isaac is sweet and shy and craves someone to take care of him, Jules is sassy and bratty and will fight the dominance but craves it anyway, and Roman has finally found the two boys he's been looking for. The three of them together were just so cute and like all these different pieces just fit with them. Their personalities matched and there are some dramatic scenes, and everything just comes together. It takes place over the course of a weekend and it's very fast but I was still here for it. I really love the emotional vulnerability of like Daddy / boy relationships and that specific kink and this book does it all really well.

What a hot and sexy and entertaining story, really fun to read!
I can only say: heat, heat and heat again!
Getting together three very different but equally contributing personalities, which complement each other just perfectly. All three of them are presented very credibly and so lovable, it is easy to step into their feet. And of course all written in their well known easy flowing, funny and sassy way, coming right from the heart, flowing straight off the author's lips and into the reader's imagination.
Both authors never fail to capture the reader right inbetween everything that is happening as if standing right next to them.
Beautifully descripted personalities, insight views, fears, hopes and just the pure lust for each other, ending in the desire to knot it into something forever.
Of course, you cannot have any story by these authors without a great portion of steam and fling. It makes this novel to an enticing read you cannot put away.
An absolute 5 star from me for a more than great entertainment!
I received this book for free but leave a review freely and voluntarily because I definitely enjoyed reading it and can absolutely recommend it.

I've always been divided by my love for sassy, bratty boys and sweet submissives, but in Isaac, Jules, and Roman's story I got to have it all! Their romance was a fantastic explosion of drama, passion, and sweetness, and I ate every bit of it up. Isaac's fumbling shyness was like catnip to me, and I was instantly charmed by Jules' fierce protectiveness of him. To outsiders, Jules/Diva had enough confidence and charisma to face off with anyone who got out of line, but it was his hidden moments of vulnerability that tugged on my heartstrings. Isaac and Jules had such an amazing connection, despite their incompatibilities in bed, that my heart ached at the thought of them ever being separated. The fact that Daddy Roman took one look at the two of them and knew he had enough love in his heart for both of them made me want to squee in delight. That was the moment I knew everything would turn out okay, and the rest of their journey was delightfully entertaining. From watching Jules and Isaac explore their chemistry to seeing how adorably submissive and good Isaac wanted to be for Roman, I thought my heart was going to explode with happiness during that first night. Of course, it took some time for Jules to trust that Roman wasn't going to get fed up with all of his fabulousness, or, god forbid, steal Isaac away from him. I knew Jules wouldn't let go without a fight, but even I was unprepared for the near-hysterical burst of emotions when he was afraid that Roman was taking everything away from him. That cathartic spanking was a huge turning point in their relationship, and the way that Roman and Isaac embraced every messy, dramatic, chaotic part of Jules told me that there really wasn't anything that could put their relationship in jeopardy. Being in love certainly didn't cause Jules to lose his sassy spark, and Isaac was still the shy, blushing boy he'd alway been, but with Roman, the two of them learned to trust that Daddy could--and wanted to--handle it all.

Even a Queen needs a Daddy. I've read many of the stories in the multi-author series featuring the Cuffd app and I highly recommend them as a way to dip your toes into Daddy kink and try a new author. This addition is amazing and introduced me to a new author (a new pen name) Harlow Hayes and I will definitely keep my eye out for anything else from this pen name whether Mama Chara has a hand in it or not. I love Mama Chara's books and I can see her sticky fingers all over this story. If you are interested in Daddy kink then you will love Daddy Roman as he takes on two boys who desperately need a firm hand which he perfectly supplies. Sweet virgin Isaac has his best friend Jules aka Queen Diva D. Light to look out for him and help him with his problem.
I honestly can't say enough about how much I loved this book. I loved Isaac and wanted to wrap him in bubble wrap to spare his fragile heart. I loved Jules/Diva D. Light and their bruised heart that made them lash out and be soooo OTT protective and possessive of boo Isaac. I loved Daddy Roman for his on-the-nose instincts to deal with Isaac and Diva to get to the heart of their problems. This book has Mama Chara's brand of naughty all over it and I am here for her Daddy kink that she doesn't do often but does well. I look forward to more from Harlow Hayes if All the Queen's Men is anything to go by. ***ARC review***

Chara Croft isn't doing a thing for me these days. The mindless noise that she writes, sounds like an inane 12 year old going through puberty. DNF after trying for 2 days to get past the first chapter.

Picked for a group challenge but not gonna use. The miscommunication was strong with this one. Fake boyfriend, blind date daddy. One minute Jules is all I love him and here's my chance, the next he's screwing it up and pushing away. The outburst accusing Ro of making Isaac cry did my head in. Isaac was soft, sweet and a bit sheltered, as well as a bit whiny. Once they sorted their shit out it was sweet, up until that point it was coaxing cats with one slightly feral. One weekend with the longest dragged out blow job and losing virginity.

This was pure perfection. Jules’ sparkly sassy gorgeousness and Issac’s adorable shy sweetness make them the best pair of boys a Daddy could want. And Roman… I wanted him to be my Daddy too. As soon as I downloaded this I started reading it. During my breaks at work even and up until I fell asleep. Then woke up and immediately finished itt. It’s that good. Actually it’s delicious it’s so good. I only had one problem with it. It ended and I wanted more lol. If the authors ever feel like revisiting these beautiful guys again, don’t fight it because we would all love it.

Firstly can we take a minute to appreciate the sassy and sexy cover, how hot is that !!!

We have three central characters, three very different men, each with their own unique needs.
I don't know which one I loved the most, Isaac with his beguiling innocence, Jules with his dual persona and fabulous sassiness, or level headed, deeply caring, hot specimen of a man in Roman.

This is the kind of story where you don't expect much plot, but you're kinda desperate to find out how everyone will get their hallelujah moments.

I did not expect to laugh half as much as I did, being British I really appreciated those finer English digs.
But in Jules or Miss Diva D Light, thank you very much ( she is just fabulous) we have a deadly lioness and a fragile cub rolled into one. Let's just say I was not expecting all that happened on that wicked weekend at Cuffd, what a turn of events, so many hidden dreams were brought to life. Some, deeper and harder to accept than others.

Roman, what an insightful and sensitive man " Isaac was a dream, waking up every protective instinct I had, making me salivate. And my gorgeous Diva, my queen, underneath the sassy comebacks and fabulous clothes he wore like an armour I could tell he was vulnerable too. They both needed me, I just had to show them ".
Sigh !!
Boy, what an outstanding Daddy Roman turned out to be.

This story was both blushingly hot, full of vulnerability and wildly, crazily funny.
As soon as I finished I want to start all over again.
Just fabulous.

Review: All the Queens Men, A Destination Daddies story by Chara Croft and Harlow Hayes
I recieved an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

All the Queens Men is a standalone story in the multi-author Destination Daddies anthology. If you read any of the Naughty or Nice (Dear Daddy) anthology then you’ll recognize the reappearance of the Cuffd app. Instead of sweet, or naughty, boys sending in letters to Kinky Santa our Daddies and Boys are traveling trying to find that perfect match.
All the Queens Men features Isaac, a shy quiet virgin who is in unrequited love with his best friend Jules who becomes the gorgeous Queen Diva D. Light. Jules performs as Diva D. Light, a sassy in your face drag queen. He’s convinced he’s too much to handle for anyone to want to take on after a series of fails. Jules is performing at the Cuffd party in London at the The Luxe Hotel, and to take advantage of the plus one pretends Isaac is his boyfriend, hoping to find Isaac the perfect Daddy. Lucky for them he already has one in mind, Daddy Roman. Daddy Roman is a gorgeous silver fox who falls for both boys, despite being told Isaac is the one looking for a Daddy not Jules. Roman wants both boys, Isaac is on board but Jules and Diva need a bit of convincing. Can Daddy keep his sweet boy and have his Queen too? He’s surely going to try. I absolutely loved this story from beginning to end. The emotions were raw and easy to feel along with the characters. You easily picked up Isaac’s anxiety, Jules/Diva’s desire to protect their heart, and Roman’s want to keep both boys for himself. Chara of course delivers wonderful characters along with Harlow Hayes in this co-written story. This is a new kinky pen name for Harlow Hayes and I’m looking forward to what they have to offer.

How hot are Isaac, Jules, and Daddy Roman? Umm, well… you should probably keep your fire extinguisher handy.

I might be bias because I love everything Chara Croft writes, but I never know what to expect when one of my favorite authors teams up with another author that I have not read yet. I’m happy to report that in this case it is absolutely worth reading!

I love the way Chara writes shy, nervous virgins. They’re always so stinking adorable! And Isaac is no exception. His reliance on Jules to help him, protect him, and ultimately defend him if necessary is so sweet.

Jules fierce over-the-top personality works well in his friendship with Isaac. Both boys love each other so deeply. Jules doesn’t see how they can make it work because they’re both bottoms and Isaac just doesn’t think Jules looks at him like that.

Even if Jules thinks he’s Setting up this rendezvous with a daddy to help out his best friend we all know he loves Isaac too much to trust a stranger with his best friend.

Of course Daddy Roman knows exactly how to handle both boys and he’s happy to take on the task.

I adored the development of the relationship between the three of them. The hissy fit that Jules throws when he thinks Daddy Roman has hurt Isaac is epic. The result is definitely not something Jules saw coming. I loved the whole story; read it in one day actually and it definitely goes in the reread pile!

MC development: 10/10 (Each of the three main characters definitely had a distinct voice and personality)
Heat: 8/10 (pretty high heat, as I expect from a Chara Croft book)
Length: 8/10 (never long enough, but still ended in a logical place)
Meet cute: 9/10 (Great set up for the story, relationship, and characters)
BDSM: 9/10 (well written and sweet)
Overall: 10/10 (would highly recommend)

It was easy and enjoyable to read.

I liked all three of the characters. Jules was definitely the most developed character and had the most distinctive voice. I would have liked some back-story about any of them, since we get a good idea of who they are now, for that one weekend, but no real idea of how they got there. There were no past events to define them, only a vague hint that Jules had learned not to trust anyone... except Isaac.

The three of them fit together and I was into the sassy type of boy that Jules/Diva was, and the way Daddy Roman cared for him.

I liked the British setting and the fact that Daddy Roman was a sexy New Yorker. Quite a bit of the British-ness worked but there were some parts that were just wrong. I don't know what fog-filled Victorian London film inspired some of the cute cockney language, but, lol! Still, it was fine and there were only a couple of things that really threw me out of the story. Like when Isaac puts milk in his tea and that's just fine and normal and then he adds a squeeze of lemon and I gagged before laughing hysterically and then sobbing and raging against the fact that tea had been ruined for me for at least half an hour after reading that (for the record, it's milk or lemon, definitely not both).

All in all, this was a cute read. It's got an unusual voice in the Jules POV-chapters, which was enjoyable and stood out from the crowd. I'd definitely read about Santiago and his rugby-playing boys!

This book is aptly titled, because while there are ostensibly three protagonists and three points of view here, this is 100% Jules and Diva’s show. This story has one source of drama, angst, and pretty much every heightened emotion, and it’s impossible not to be drawn to the center of that chaotic whirlwind. There’s plenty of heat, which I expected and plenty of tension and angst, which I didn’t. The feelings Jules and Isaac share are deep and real, and the fact that they’re both really good at not seeing what’s in front of them doesn’t make their path any easier. Roman is, from the start, the Daddy both men need, but despite having pulled all the strings to arrange their time together, Jules is the one who can’t acknowledge or admit what he wants from either man. The bond all three build develops super quickly, but it feels compelling and real— the chemistry isn’t just, or even primarily, physical, but emotional as well. Jules is a fully developed force of nature, and one I felt I knew really well by the end. Roman and Isaac felt less concrete and a bit more, at times, like idealized collections of qualities than people, especially compared to the flawed but compelling complexity that is Jules. Overall, however, this felt like a really powerful read, with plenty of emotion and steam.

*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book does a deep dive into the minds of three very different men over less than three days. At first glance, it feels like it will be Isaac and Roman’s story, as Jules brings them together during a weekend getaway and facilitates their romance. However, all of this backfires on Jules when he’s the one who experiences the most character development and ends up inextricably wound into the burgeoning relationship between his best friend and the Daddy that Jules has procured for him. Because it turns out that Jules and Isaac might be a bit more than best friends and that Jules might need a Daddy himself.

Isaac and Roman trend a bit too far in the direction of character tropes rather than individuals. A few differences, such as Roman’s current living situation, break them out of stereotype but not terribly far. On the other hand, it’s drag queen Jules who could have so easily been a two-dimensional character but quickly becomes the hero this story needs, even though he spends most of the story protesting otherwise.

This book was a fun, sexy read with a solid “happily for now” resolution. It acts as the perfect setup for a longer-form romantic arc as the three characters work toward their happily ever after. Croft and Hayes deliver an excellent “slice out of time” romance, but it left me yearning for more pages with these wonderful characters.

Jules is a drag queen called Miss Diva D. Light who has a best friend called Isaac who is shy, sweet and pure but still loves Jules. Isaac needs a Daddy and Jules is determined to find him one who will treat him right even though the thought of losing him is almost too much to bear. Isaac has secretly been in love with Jules for years. What Jules is doing is great but he can't cope if it means he loses Jules. Roman receives a job offer from a rival financial firm in London and although his gut tells him to reject it he does visit there to make the decision. He ends up in the same hotel as a special kink event which allows him to explore his lifestyle for a while. Then he meets two boys who are opposites but actually fit together with Roman perfectly.

I enjoyed this story with the sassy Jules and the quiet and shy Ollie who on the face of it are not compatible but in actual fact (and especially with Roman) are very compatible. I loved the care that Roman took with Isaac and that he clearly knew how to manage them both. It was also great to see that in the process Jules and Isaac had to admit how they felt for each other and I felt that helped to bring them all together. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

I was in the mood for some Daddy kink and this did not disappoint. This featured best friends Jules and Isaac looking for a Daddy for Isaac even though they are in love with each other. They know they can’t give the other what they need, but when Roman enters the picture he’s exactly the person to bridge the gap between Jules and Isaac and be the perfect Daddy for both. This story takes place over a weekend, but it was completely packed with emotion and some smoking hit sexy times.

Even though this happens over such a short period of time, I felt like I got to know Jules, Isaac, and Roman as people and really connected to them. Maybe more so with Isaac and Jules because of their connection to each other. Each person had their own needs and reasons for them. Jules and Isaac loved each other so fiercely I felt it jump off the page. My whole heart ached doe Jules and Isaac as they navigated their relationship and their Daddy needs. I get with this dynamic connections and emotions are quickly formed and sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn’t. I was completely invested in these three men and believed they could form such a strong bound that could build into love.

This was packed with emotion and some seriously steamy Daddy kink and I enjoyed every minute of it.

This poly romance is as fabulous as Miss Diva D. Light herself. It's a sizzling hot M/M/M love story as sweet as shy Isaac, sassy as confident Jules, and smoldering as Daddy Roman gazing upon his two boys.

Thinking he and his devoted and polar opposite bestie Isaac can never be what each other truly needs, Jules is determined to find a Daddy for his (mutual) unrequited forever-crush. Posing as "package deal" boyfriends in an open relationship at a Daddy-kink weekend event, little do they know Daddy Roman will prove to be exactly what they both want and need.

Their "temporary" arrangement is intense, super steamy, and oh so sweet and tender, not to mention, Jules - and Diva - is hilarious! The complete devotion between Jules and Isaac gives all the feels, and how Roman so seamlessly fills the crucial gap in their relationship is what beautiful poly romance HEAs are made of. I received an advance reading e-copy of this book and have left this honest review voluntarily. (Also read in KU.)

ALL THE QUEEN'S MEN
Oh my gosh, this book was sooo much fun. I loved it. I loved the dynamic between Jules & Isaac.
They did (like Daddy said 😊) just absolutely complement each other so perfectly.
I couldn't stop smiling and clutching my heart for sweet adorable Isaac and I was sooo moved by the total adoration Jules showered him with in his/her over the top mama bear way.
What can I say? These are possibly my two favourite characters ever!
I won't expound on the story, because many other reviewers have described it so perfectly, but I will say this:
If you love a "made in Heaven" triad, some wonderful sizzle and a beautifully written multi-POV story, don't hesitate any longer.
Snatch this one up right away.
It's magnificent!
Well done Chara & Harlow.

This book was so good and the characters were just perfect! Isaac was the sweetest, most precious, sex starved, well hung virgin on the planet...and Jules...he was this over the top drag queen that oozed dominance yet craved someone to take care of him when things became too much. Jules was also bound and determined to see his boo get the best Daddy in the world....under his watchful eye, of course! Roman is a Daddy that is drawn to Isaac's oblivious sensuality and Jules' fire. He also can see that the chemistry between these boys is exactly what he's been looking for and he'll do whatever it takes to make this throuple happen. Isaac was innocence and debauchery in one adorable package and Jules was a tornado that needed a storm shelter for his own chaotic existence. Roman was the safe haven that made each of these boys find a comfortable medium. I am so glad this book happened! What a fun, sexy, steamy adventure!
