Beatrix and Peter have a joyful, frustrating and surprising day, set in the epilogue period of Revolutionary (Clandestine Magic #3). Exclusive to readers of Colleen Cowley's newsletter.

This is essentially a second epilogue to the series, and while it’s quite short—around 25 pages—it’s definitely worth the read. The best part? You can get it for free by signing up on the author’s website. Along with this epilogue, you’ll also receive a 50-page prequel to the series, which is equally engaging and well worth your time.
I know every time I pick up something by Colleen Cowley I'm going to adore it. This was no exception. Her writing feels effortless and is so enjoyable to read. She manages to deliver a moment of satisfying tension between my two favorite characters and a delightful HEA for side characters in one tight story.
3.5 rating. Of the entire series, this was perhaps the weakest. There isn't anything overtly wrong with it. It kept to Cowley's writing, the characters behaved as you expected them to, and you saw Peter and Beatrix in a stronger bond after being married for a little while. However, the timing of the story is immediately after Revolutionary, but before the epilogue to that installment. It didn't provide much new information that wasn't already covered or could be gleaned from the epilogue. While it was nice to see their relationship progress, I think it would have been a better story to see where they land AFTER the years covered in Revolutionary's epilogue.
I am in love with these books (this is part of a wonderful series) and this epilogue was as sweet and witty (socially aware too) ending. Loved it, and now DEMAND that this author create more...Pretty please? RECOMMENDED!
Okay, that was utterly delightful. And while I enjoyed the forest scene, I truly enjoyed the honest conversations between Peter and Beatrix. Ugh! Such a good series of books!
