Change is inevitable, just like death.

Morgan Sinclair needs to be in control, it’s what keeps her sane. With everything changing around her, sanity is the least of her worries. While Morgan and her new friends struggle to rebuild life in Talantic, a close ally is still missing, along with an ancient book that could tip Earth’s balance for good. Plus, there’s a certain sexy tracker who just won’t leave her alone.

Cian Porter hasn’t belonged anywhere since the day he found out he was a tracker, so it was no surprise when his aunt banished him from their family home. Although, that could’ve had something to do with him stealing a powerful book, and then losing it to the fae. As their search for the book and his missing cousin intensifies, so do Cian’s feelings for the blonde beauty who got him into this mess in the first place.

When disaster strikes, Morgan, Cian, and their friends will need to form new alliances, and prepare for a battle unlike any they’ve faced before. Can they find the book and stop Kato before he destroys everything they love?

Three stars because while it was brilliantly written, had great characters, and such a wholesome conclusion, I just didn't feel the excitement I should have.

To me, this is 'mature fantasy' - a label I've never come across but seems fitting. I think slightly older adults venturing into fantasy for the first time will really enjoy this series as it deals with the adult themes typically found in general fiction while having a magical plotline.

Cian is such a sweetheart!!! I want to say that he is my favourite male lead, but I honestly probably thought that about all of them. We can't forget Morgan, of course. She is beautifully complex and her relationship with Cian develops so naturally. The resulting chemistry is HOT.

The last book had a great ending and a good story! It was a bit difficult to remember all the persons (who they where in relation to others).
But I can guess it would be easier to know if I would have read all the books in a row.

But anyway.. In this we get to know what happens with the Villain. Also what the trackers and Elementals does togheter in the community and together.

Its a really great book. I got to know a lot more about Morgan. Her history about her mom is really easy to connect to. I wanted to know more about that situation in the epilogue.

But apart from that it was really great!

This was a perfect way to end a triology. The characters had some ups and downs but above all, they had patience. I love that, to not pressure each other, just being there when it's needed. Trusting each other and being brave enough to open up, it's lovely. The friendships and relationships feels too unproblematic at times in this book. They all just get along too well.

Like the other books in this triology, it's written in a way that makes it easy to read and imagine the world. I finished this in two sittings, disappearing in a world where elemental magic is wielded, fae exists and couples come togheter to fight. We also get just the right amount of spice.

The plot felt a bit predictable so it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped for.

I fell in love with Morgan in the second book. I love her even more now. There was action and all the feels. There wasn't anything about it I didn't like. Towards the end I was anxiously turning pages, yet dreading what was coming. (The last page.)
One of the best parts for me was how the story wrapped up. No... I can't. No spoilers. Sorry. You'll just have to read it yourself. And please do!

Title: Falling
Series: The Elementals Trilogy

Prior to jumping into the review, I would like to thank the author for sharing this book with me free of charge and it is my utmost pleasure and privilege to leave this review.

Falling is the last book in The Elementals Trilogy, a fantasy series, by debut author Jennifer Forist. There is definitely improvement in the writing and sounds more mature than the first book. There is action or at least some adventure/suspense happening although it still follows the same route of search and failure. Fallon didn't come as a surprise to me as I felt that was likely to happen although I thought she may survive by some miracle. If you like medium-paced books with a light sprinkling of humour, this is for you. Cian is very sweet.

As this trilogy is based between an elemental and a tracker hunter, this book follows the same route with Morgan and Cian as the lead characters and yes, they are still after Kato in order to save their planet. While Kato manages to create the stone and become this powerful person, I felt that there could have been a different style of ending to his character. The epilogue is sweet.

The main plot revolves around elemental stones and protecting their great power to maintain the natural order of the human world. Of course, there have to be villains dubbed the evil Fae who are trying to wrestle that power for themselves. The six of them are set to save the world.

Overall, an easy and light read. Good ending to the trilogy.

Falling is a bit of a rollercoaster and I enjoyed every page of it. This is the last in a trilogy and the author does a great job giving you what you hoped to see happen between Morgan and Cian. You also get to revisit the past novel protagonists and where their relationships went too. The fae fighting is well written and intense at times. But what grabbed me most... is how towards the end this story made me cry! I love a book that pulls out real emotions and this did that to me. -I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Falling concludes the Elementals Trilogy, but not without a bit of heartbreak. I love that Jennifer is not afraid to allow her characters to show their originality - they don’t always act or react in a stereotypical way, and it is very refreshing. The build up is slow, but the action and drama isn’t over too quickly. I love the epilogue that gives us a sneak peek into our favourite character’s future. Thanks for another great read Jennifer!

Full disclosure: I was given an ARC of the book, however this review is my own honest opinion.

What a great finale to this trilogy! I loved that this one was from the point of views of Morgan and Cian. Throughout this series, this book included, I was able to visualize everything that happened as well as what it looked like. It was very well written. There was a couple of surprising twists in this story that kept me from being able to put this book down. I thought that this was the best of the trilogy, although each book was awesome and I will definitely read them all again! Can't wait to read more books from Jennifer!

What a beautiful ending to this series!! I knew I was going to love Morgan’s story. She is such a complex character. It was great to be in her head for this book. I think Morgan and Cain are my favorite of the couples. Their relationship and backstory meshed lovely together and provided a nice spice to the book.
I really enjoyed this series overall. I feel like there was a few inconsistencies (see EDIT) but it did not take away from the story for me at all. I enjoyed the characters and thought that the ideas were very original. I definitely recommend this series if your into adventure and relationship building with some spice at the middle and end of each book. My favorite aspect of this series was that all the main couples are a part of each book. The point of view may change but the couples all remain a major part of the plot. Good characters are the most important aspect of any series for me. Often times when a series changes the point of view every book you loose that connection to the main characters of the previous book. This series does not do that!!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

*EDIT: There was only one inconsistency. After speaking with the author, she’s going to fix it.

I really enjoyed reading the final instalment of this series. It was so bittersweet getting to the end of this book, I was so sad for this trilogy to end. I loved getting to know the characters in this book, as well as getting to know the characters in the previous books.

I thought the plot in this book was amazing, it was such a fast paced read. It picked up from when the last book finished. This book was full of action as it was the last book in the series. I was on the edge of my seat as I got near the end of the book. I was interested in how the author was going to wrap up this plot and I was not disappointed with what I read. There were some plot twists in the story which were very emotional and heartbreaking. I couldn’t put this book down knowing it was the final instalment. I would definitely recommend reading the trilogy all together because of how action packed it is.

In this book, the focus was on Morgan and Cian. I thought it was great for the reader to be able to get to know Morgan because she has had so much character development throughout the series. It was amazing to be able to learn more about her. We do get to read about the characters from previous books like Coralee, Ryder, Devany and Lincoln as well. I did like how the author focused on each duo in each book because we got to see the situation through their eyes. I found I could connect with Morgan and Cian straightaway in the book. I was so eager to find out more about them and about the current situation. I actually re-read my review from the first book and I said how much I wanted to read about Morgan!

This is such a great series with some amazing characters. The authors style of writing makes the book so easy to read and understand. I would say this is a fantasy series but the terminology used is not complicated and it kept simple. I am so sad that this series is over, it is definitely a memorable series.
