I absolutely love Isla! This story was tragic but at the same time fierce! Isla is definitely a badass who is about this show what she is made of. The banter was absolutely fire! Just the story line alone for Isla is intriguing. You also get a interesting character with Bordeaux Daniels. Just when he thinks he knows what he wants, things are starting to make questions. This was the perfect beginning for Isla and Bordeaux that I can’t wait to read Reckless Desires to see where this author takes their journey! I’ll definitely be one clicking when it comes out!

I definitely think this is a captivating story that will draw other right in!

This was one powerful book, in my opinion. Isla’s personality struck me because I am the same exact way. However, Bordeaux struck a serious cord with me; he’s the epitome of a truly sexy guy but also a kind hearted and caring individual. I finished in one night because it was so addicting. Absolutely loved reading this book.

This novella is a prequel and the perfect introduction, to the upcoming rockstar romance, Reckless Desires. And holy hotness, does it leave you wanting more. In just eight short chapters, Victoria Ellis managed to make me fall in love with Isla and Bordeaux. This book has heartbreak and hurt but it also has one badass female who, after said heartbreak, vows to never let it happen again. Bordeaux just may challenge her on that. I can’t say too much more without giving spoilers, but I will say this, you will absolutely fall in love with both characters. You won’t want to miss what happens next, so be sure to pre-order Reckless Desires now!!

Falling for men suck. Heartbreaks suck. Being disappointed by men sucks even more. Isla is definitely my kind of girl; a changed woman moving on from a heartbreak and bouncing back the best way she can. I'm a sucker for girl doing everything she can to avoid future heartbreak, and you definitely will be one after you finish this. I can't wait for the release of the first book in the Reckless Desire series!

First of all who doesn’t love a sassy female lead? Victoria does a great job at sucking us into Isla’s world in this short story. It definitely gets readers ready for her next book Reckless Desires! Oh and let’s not forget Bordeaux, a man who just jumped in to help her. Loved it! I can’t wait for Reckless Desires!

Isla was a good girl but one mess up from Manny and she had become something else!

Isla has been through the wringer, but is slowly finding her groove. Insert Bordeaux, who throws her off-kilter… just before another bomb lands in her lap.

Isla is a fierce Queen. She is inspirational. When you read her story you will be cheering her on, you will ache for her all while realizing the strength she holds.
She doesn’t need or want a knight is shining armor, but every queen will swoon when the right knight swoops in. Isla is a story of finding your power, it’s about learning from your past and taking risks.
