The rich boy, Chisholm, convinces the loner, Eli, to open up to him. The loner has issues. So many issues. Eli has been treated for a variety of mental problems. As he reveals his fascinations, Chisholm realizes that he is in over his head. He breaks off the false friendship and assumes that life will go on. Eli is angered by the end of their relationship.
Chisholm begins thinking about the murders and some of Eli’s more disturbing confessions. Could these two killings be linked? Could Eli be the perpetrator? Chisholm decides to ignore his concerns.
What will Eli do next? Is he capable of murder? This book is much like a roller coaster ride building up to events that are scary, horrific, and shocking.
