Hazel, Hope, Adora, and Deidre have captured my heart! This book was pure nostalgia for me. Full of laughs, tears, hot guys, and happy endings! Lizzie, you're one on my favorite authors and I hope you never stop writing amazing stories!
What a great story between 4 friends! Each friend could have had their own book their stories were so good. They are all so different and so perfect together. The characters were great, I love how Hazel and Tristan met. Adora is so strong and sassy, I could totally relate to her! Poor Dierdra, in love with her best friend since forever. And Hope, the glue that holds the group together and is in for the biggest fight of her life! This will hit you in all your feels!
This story is about four women, four best friends in New York City, as they navigate love, friendship, and professional challenges as their lives intertwine, but a devastating secret threatens to ruin their pursuit of happiness.
My rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hazel, Adora, Deidre, Hope. Damn, do I love all these strong, independent women! This book was amazing, reminded me of my college days with my besties…. everything is so relatable in this book. I love their friendship and how they're always there for each other regardless of the hardships they have going on in their personal lives.👭
And I also love the four men chosen for these incredible women. Love how we got to see their personal POVs as well as what they thought of their respective women.😍
It's a book with multiple POVs so we get to know everyone in depth and all the girls get equal show time. The book hooked me from the first chapter itself and I couldn't stop reading it, I had to know what happened! It's so well written and so happy to see each character’s growth until the end.🥰
Overall, it's an emotional ride full of ups and downs, laughter and tears between four friends, but that's how life is, ain't it?🥹🩷
If you love female friendships & strong women then you absolutely need to read this book!❤️
Four amazing women in the big city, each of them with an incredible strength linked by a unique friendship, with their own history and aspiration, always ready to support each other. This book contains emotions of all kinds, in a few moments you find yourself shedding tears of joy and then turning into grief. The author has the ability to make you bond with the characters in a very deep way and makes you feel connected to everything is happening in their lives. Her writing style is extremely smooth and fluent and allows the reader to continue reading without wanting to stop, this is one of those books you are eager to read but not wanting for it to end. needless to say, the choice of characters is fantastic, the girls are amazing, and their future companions are just as special. This is a book to fall in love with that makes you feel every heartbeat and shows a friendship out of the ordinary.
Hazel. Adora. Deirdre. Hope. This book is about four best friends and their journeys’ through life and love. It also reminds you that life is messy and there’s always going to be ups and downs. All four of these characters were wonderful and I absolutely loved each of their stories!!
Tristan. Rhys. Sawyer. Emery. HELLO! I’m just gonna state the fact that these men are fine🙌🏼🙌🏼 and are so committed to their women! I love how in depth we get to know the men throughout the story and a deeper insight into their backgrounds/pasts.
Naturally Lizzie had to go and make me fall so deeply in love with her story and all the characters in it! This is multiple POV and has many good tropes. It has friends to lovers, Insta love, Billionaire boss, and of course the bad boy romance. Lizzie’s ability to drag you into her stories and make you feel for her characters is astounding and naturally I cried (happy tears) when I finished the book!!🥰🤣
I have been in a bit of a book slump and this book made me fall inlove with reading. I loved the beautiful friendship, the ups and downs all four girls overcame. Even though each had a story to tell about falling in love it was the growth of their friendship that I loved the most about this book. It gave me now and then feels which is one of my favourite movies. I laughed, cried, swooned and was left smiling. This was the first book I have read by this author and I know it won’t be my last. This is so different to anything I have read before and I welcomed it with open arms. Each characters story is different. The ending was perfect and how I hoped it would be.
I think this is the 1st book I have read with so many different point of views and I absolutely loved it!!! The book could have been done for the girls pov only or even just one of the girls but having all the girls and their respective partners in the one book seriously took this story to another level!!! The story itself was beautiful. There was the whole range of emotions and feelings in this book and the feelings came across strong happiness, sadness anger and a whole lot of laughter aswell.
I have never read a Lizzie Lioness book and not enjoyed it her work is amazing and her talent continues to grow. 100% recommend you give this book a read you won't regret it.
While the story lines and plot had excellent potential, the writing and the editing errors/mistakes where overwhelming and made the book almost unbearable. The plot and the characters were great BUT, the mess ups and repetitive lines were extremely hard to get past. I would usually not finish a book like this but I loved the characters and prayed it got better as I went along. It did not. I wouldn’t recommend this for any avid reader. Maybe this was originally in a different language and the translation just didn’t make sense. That’s the only possible reason I could hold on to in order to finish!! I am so glad it’s over. Don’t waste your time, please!!
What a great story about 4 best friends- hazel, Adora, hope and deidre, that are more like sisters. What a journey this book takes you through, it will hit all your feels! They are all so different but they all fit perfect together.
And let's not forget about the four hot men, Tristan, Rhys, sawyer and emery 🥵🥵🥵 hot dang.
They could definitely have there own books📚 I would definitely read them. 😜
I wasn't disappointed in this book at all, everything I've read so far from Lizzie is great. Always sucked in from the start to finish. I definitely recommend this book 📖.
I've followed this author across multiple platforms and her writing never disappoints!! I was instantly HOOKED on these 4 woman. I could relate to each one. I laughed out loud, I gasped, And I even cried while reading this book. That's how you know its a Goodread! I can not wait for the next project! SensualCrystals has always been and will always be a supporter of this author!
Lizzie you have done it again. I actually feel like this is an account of someone's real life. The emotion that is written in to this story had tears rolling down my face as if I was the one living this. Every emotion I could have was in this book. You are an amazing author please never stop writing.
This was one of the most beautiful fulfilling stories I’ve read about female friendships. The best part of this story was the four friends who though are so different are perfect together. Definitely definitely suggest. Not only was it about 4 amazing woman together but how amazing they are on their own.
I loved every moment of their journey together! Emotional and insightful, I was mesmerized by the bond between the women and the unwavering of support. This is an author who never disappoints. Well done and I can’t wait to see what you create next!
What a brilliant read, the author takes you on a journey through the lives of 4 friends. The highs and lows of their life long friendship. I could not put it down.
I loved it. It was a little confusing at first but once I got into it, I loved it. Hazel was my favorite out of the four girls. I would love to see their stories as standalones.I love the friendship between all four of them and how they were there for each other through their highs and lows.
I grabbed this for free during a stuff your Kindle day... Because it had such good reviews, I had high hopes for this light, romance novel. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. The writing is sloppy, lazy and has no depth to it at all. 1/10 do not recommend.
I couldn’t put it down! By far my favorite stuff your kindle day grab I’ve ever gotten. Loved watching the girls develop their relationships, it felt like I was apart of their friend group!
What a great book! Thoroughly enjoyed this and the way all 4 individual stories wrappped into one and intertwined. A emotional, funny, heart happy book.
Four Times the Charm definitely deserves more than five stars. Lizzie Lioness never disappoints with her gripping, emotional and beautifully written books. She has outdone herself with Four Times the Charm. Her story of four women that are more like sisters than best friends will have you riding an emotional rollercoaster, but it is well worth the ride. Lizzie will have you relating to each of the women right from the start. Reading about the closeness of their friendship has you thinking of the women in your life and how you lean on one another.
Adora, Hope, Hazel and Deidre are four friends that share everything, their ups and downs, laughs and tears, joys and heartbreaks. Each woman has their strengths that help in supporting one another. As they go through life, they lean on each other for support. Whether it is for advice or just to have someone to listen to them, they are always there. When they are going through some life-altering situations, you can feel their happiness and pain. This is because of the way Lizzie writes with such detail and emotion.
Hazel meets a man at the local bar while she is letting loose. Is he the man of her dreams, or will he be a thorn in her side? Adora has a client that she has hot thoughts about. Will she break her rules and date a client? Deidre works for a pervert but also with a man that is her best friend. Will this friendship become more and what will happen between her and her boss? Hope is given some life-changing information and does not want to share it with her friends. She meets a man while in the park coming to grip with the news she has been given. Could he be the one that she turns to and becomes more?
I have been following Lizzie for almost two years and have loved each and every one of her books. All her storylines have been outstanding however, this one stands out from the rest. This one is a sweet and emotional romance and I love this one the most. Lizzie had me feeling all types of emotions and I easily related to the characters throughout the story. I highly recommend adding this beautifully written book to your TBR list.
This book is amazing! The storyline, the characters, the writing style....everything! Four ladies, who are the best of friends made me a little "homesick" for some of the friends I have had through out the years. I enjoyed being dragged into their world getting to know them. Their comradery is boundless. There is so much intimacy (not sexual) in their friendship. They have individual struggles, but are always there for each other, even when one thinks they don't need them to be. The spice is perfection. Im still in lust with Tristian 🥵, and probably will be for a while LOL
Lizzie, you are amazing. I'm so glad our paths crossed ❤️❤️
