I got a double dose of *happy sigh* because I got to read Adventurous Love and Impulsive Love back-to-back for this release and it was glorious! I’ve said it before, but it can never be said enough times, Lea Coll makes me happy when I read her words. Every time people. Every.Time.
Here’s what I loved best about this particular story, the chemistry that the leads had was not just physical, it was everything. Their personalities had chemistry for each other. Their bodies had chemistry for each other. Their hearts had chemistry for each other. They got each other like no one has ever gotten them before and it catapulted this story to a wonderful level. It wasn’t just a swoony story, it was hopeful, and it was triumphant and it real. I felt it. I love it. I want to be their friend. I want to be in this world that Lea has created with all three of these stories thus far. I want ALL THE THINGS Mountain Heaven has to offer! That is such a trippy thing ya’ll! To be reading a story and feel like you’re right there in the story. GAH, I love Lea. That is all. Do the thing now.

Impulsive Love is the third book in the Mountain Haven series. And if you have read the previous books you have already meet Piper and if you have read the Annapolis Harbor series you have meet Colin who is a sport player, but not the normal cocky and pretentious, he is down to earth and he specially wants to secure his place in the team.
Piper and Colin meet each other in a trip for Colin's team, they have great chemistry from the beginning but they know it can't be something serious because they live in differents cities, so they decide to have a one night stand even thought they know there are more feelings there.
But life has a surprise for them, that will make them to be in contact and realize that they can have more than just a fling and have their HEA they just have to be strong and support each other in their dreams so they can be the famiy that they want.
Piper and Colin meet each other in a trip for Colin's team, they have great chemistry from the beginning but they know it can't be something serious because they live in differents cities, so they decide to have a one night stand even thought they know there are more feelings there.

Impulsive Love is Book 3 of Lea Coll’s Mountain Haven series and has earned a special spot in my book loving heart.
Perhaps it was because Piper and Colin are lost souls, longing to find themselves and their place in life. Such a relatable sentiment, at least to someone like me, who up and left everything and moved to another country despite her family’s protests. Whatever the reason, Piper and Colin’s love story kept me glued to my kindle as I followed them on their incredible journey - From instant attraction, to a night of passion, to friends, to soon-to-be parents, to each other’s whole world. It.was.beautiful.
Impulsive Love was the best kind of romance read. It made my book loving heart happy because Colin and Piper felt like home. I’m giving it the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy.

5 Star review of Impulsive Love (Mountain Haven #3) by Lea Coll
From the first chapter I was drawn into the story that Lea Coll wove about Piper Rigby and Colin Winters. I love stories set in small towns and I was excited to be back in Telluride, Colorado. All it takes is one night to change the course of one’s life and that’s what happens for Piper and Colin.
I loved how supportive Colin was of Piper and how he encouraged her to follow her dreams. From the moment their eyes meet, there is an instant connection but as is it enough for them to forge a relationship or are they better as friends?
I enjoyed the development of their relationship and it was entertaining to watch it progress. Impulsive love is a well written, romantic, at times emotional story that ticked every box for me.

This is the swooniest, most romantic book I have read in a while. We met Colin and Piper in previous books of this author and Piper is a great character in this series. She works with Elle at the barber shop and also with her brother Henry at the Lodge and Adventure company. Piper has had problems with her family and always felt adrift looking for her place in the world. Colin lost his mother when he was young and his father never really was there for him, sports were his support system and now he is playing in a major league team trying to have his place in the sport that he loves. He loves his job but what he feels for Piper is immense. She is reluctant at first but he is so supportive of her and her choices. Colin is the star of this book because he feels and do not hide it. The book has so many great scenes. A really great reading and I just loved it!

Colin and Piper's story was so much fun to read! I enjoyed the hiking aspects and the description of all the sights Piper takes pictures of! I loved her interactions with Colin from their meeting before the hiking tour and all the way through their relationship!
Colin and Piper complimented each other's personality so well, and I wanted to continously read their story. I enjoyed all the good and bad times their story brought and all the connections to the other Lea Coll novels I had previously read! I loved how strong Piper got throughout her storyline and how much she grew and become who she wanted to be!

Piper Rigby has been working as a hair stylist in her hometown of Telluride, Colorado since she graduated from high school, but she recently took on a side hustle helping her older brother Henry with the lodge and adventure tour company he opened on their family's ranch. Their first official tour is a 3-day bike trip with members of Denver's professional baseball team, including rookie Colin Winters. Neither Piper nor Colin is looking for a serious relationship, but they can't help being drawn to each other. After spending the final night of the trip together, they go their separate ways but decide to keep in touch. Several weeks later, after finally deciding to pursue her dream of becoming a travel photographer and landing her dream assignment, Piper learns that her night with Colin had unexpected consequences. What will it mean for her relationship with Colin, and will she have to put her dream of a photography career on hold?
Colin and Piper were both likeable, relatable characters, and I was impressed by how much character growth the author was able to pack into a relatively short book. When the story began, Piper was very much in the midst of a transformation and, even though she was technically an adult, I think she was still trying to figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up. She felt trapped in her hometown of Telluride and resented her parents for paying for her brother's college education while she was forced to go straight to work after earning her cosmetology license in high school. The conflict with her family was a big part of what was holding Piper back, and I was glad when she finally confronted her parents and Henry about the way they'd always treated her. As for Colin, he was in the midst of a transition too; he'd been called up from AAA at the end of the previous season and invited to spring training this season, but he still had a lot to prove if he wanted a permanent spot on the major league roster. I loved how supportive they were of each other even though they were physically apart for so much of the book. Their relationship may have started with an instant connection, but the time apart forced them to slow down and really get to know each other before taking things to the next level (and adding a baby to the mix!).
The one thing I didn't enjoy about this story was Piper's relationship with her brother, Henry. I didn't like how dismissive he was with her at times, and to be honest, it really changed the way I felt about him after liking him in the last book. I had hoped that after everything Piper did to help Henry win back his fiancee, Kelsey, he would have at least been a little kinder to his sister. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be the case.
Despite that frustration, I really did enjoy this book; in fact, I think it was my favorite one of the series. I recommend "Impulsive Love" for all contemporary romance fans and look forward to Coll's next release.

I’ve been anticipating Colin Winters book for a long time, since his sister’s book, Only With You. And ladies and gentlemen, it is here! I was so excited to read that I didn’t even read the blurb! So as the story progressed I was happy that it had one of my favorite trope, surprise pregnancy. It was so well written, that it only made me love Colin and Piper even more.
One of the things I like the most on Lea’s stories, is how, usually, both characters are dealing with something emotional and I can actually see the grow in each one. In this case, they feel the connection between them from the first glance. Colin is at the resort Piper is working, to help the owner, her brother, during an event for Colin’s baseball team. He is the rookie and is ready to work hard to stay in the team and prove his dad wrong (seriously, his dad is the worst!)
At the other side, Piper is trying to find herself in more ways than one, but especially professionally. Her family doesn’t show support and was always treated as the black sheep of the family. But not with Colin, with him she can be herself, tell her dreams and in return he gives all the support in the world. What both can agree though, is that they deserve at least one night together.
Once she finds out she’s pregnant they form a unbreakable team. Their love is shown with each touch, word and act. Of course it’s not without some bumps, doubts or a little miscommunication. I absolutely loved this story and it’s a steamy romance at its finest! Impulsive Love was totally deserve of Colin, because he is my guy, forever! 😂♥️ also, are we going to have books for his teammates? Please say yes!

So, if you remember Colin from another book, you’ll be as happy as I was to know that he’s finding his forever here! He and Piper may have had an unconventional beginning, but they had a connection and a drive to remain in each other’s lives, any way they could. So if that meant friends first, then they’d take it. But when things turn upside down, these two figured out quickly enough that they truly wanted more. That’s not to say that it’s easy or smooth sailing. Oh, no. Feet are inserted into mouths, words are said, and some serious thinking is needed. But communication is still key for this author, so I knew Colin and Piper would make it all work sooner rather than later…or so I hoped.
I loved how we got the whole picture of Piper’s family, even when she wasn’t taken seriously by this who should support her no matter what. After all, families and life aren’t perfect. Maybe it took Colin being present for Piper to finally make everyone listen. Maybe it was just time. But OH, how I adored that family discussion. It made everything and everyone feel just as real as the words on the page and made me so glad Piper refused to back down for once.
I’ve loved this series so far, and this was no exception. The real issues, the need for communication, the family, and the love to be found all make for the perfect way to spend a few hours of my time. I look forward to wherever we go next!

Impulsive Love by Lea Coll is the 3rd book of her Mountain Haven Series and it's the beauuuuuutiful love story of Colin and Piper.
Well Piper and Colin can't deny their instant attraction to each other when they first meet at the Rigby's Adventure Tour.
She's the assistant of her brother Henry and he's part of the attending baseball team.
They spend the whole weekend together and the sparks are flying all around them.
Can an one-night-stand turn into something more? You'll see!
I absolutely loved their story and totally devoured it too!
I couldn't stop myself because I instantly fell in love with Colin and Piper!
Their whole story is so beautiful and emotional!
Although this one night was spectacular both try to fight against their feelings and then there's a surprise! Damn!
But that's what I loved about them so much. They always had each other, although of course they needed some advice too. ;)
Impulsive Love made me realise that it's important to believe in yourself and do the things you want to do. ♡
Ha! And it was awesome to meet the crew from Annapolis too!

They met on an adventure tour, sharing precious time together, talking about their past and their hopes and dreams for the future. Piper Rigby was helping with her brother’s tour when her eyes met those of Colin Winters. Their attraction was immediate and before the tour is over, they would spend one perfect night together. Colin and his fellow players are participating in the tour to bond as a team. Even though his father does not support him, he hopes to make it in the major leagues. Piper has never felt the support of her family and they see her love of photography as a hobby, not a possible career. Colin encourages her to enter the photography contest and fight for her future as Piper offers him continued support while he is playing on the road. When their impulsive one-night results in an unplanned pregnancy, how will this affect their future? I loved how they both realized what was really important…a beautiful and sensitive love story. Wow what a beautiful addition to a great romantic series.
Piper is unsure of what she wants to do with her life. Having a lot of resentment towards her family for not supporting her and never being proud of her, she has no confidence or will to try and figure it out. But when she meets Colin she realize she could be so much more.
This was an amazing and beautiful read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Colin and Piper have the best chemistry. It is explosive and electric. They each have their own emotional baggage to deal with, yet they are both full of life. They truly were made for one another.
I also liked how characters from other series blend in with this one. We get to spend time with Hadley and the gang in the Annapolis series. It is great reading books that blend series so smoothly.
Lea Coll is an excellent romance author. She writes meaningful and beautiful stories of falling in love against all odds. Her characters ring truth and always have beautiful chemistry. Her characters have amazing personalities. She is one of my favorite authors.

Lea Coll is an excellent romance author. She writes meaningful and beautiful stories of falling in love against all odds. Her characters ring truth and always have beautiful chemistry. Her characters have amazing personalities. She is one of my favorite authors.

This has been such a fun series to read. This book was no exception! Colin is a professional baseball player doing a team building weekend with his teammates. Piper is working at a barbershop and helping her brother out at his Adventure business. But deep inside Piper is in love with photography and is trying to figure out what to do with her life. When these two meet they have a instant connection and amazing chemistry! Colin and Piper found each other at the perfect time. They both needed someone to believe in them and they definitely did that for each other. This was a great quick read that was extremely entertaining. We have the small town feel, the laugh out loud team banter and of course throw in some family drama. This series has been a great spin off series and I’m truly enjoying it. I’m already looking forward to reading the next book.

wonderful couple who overcome difficulties
Another great story..the main characters are in sync with each other.
Colin is attracted to Piper from the moment he sees her. He is attending a team building experience hosted by her brother's company and Piper is one of the guides. A night of passion leads to unexpected pregnancy but this couple agree to work together.
Colin is very supportive and encouraging in her endeavours. Piper gains courage from the belief he inspires in her, she follows her dreams and finally tells her dismissive parents that she does not need their opinions or approval for what she does...the parents and brother are derisive and totally oblivious of the impact.
Success for both of them in many ways.

Whenever Ms.Coll announces a new book i instantly start looking forward to it! Having read the two previous Mountain Haven books i couldn't wait to jump back in with this third installment! I started reading it as soon as i could and was pulled in quickly. I really enjoyed this story!
Right from their very first meeting, Piper and Colin's journey captured my attention completely! I really liked how these two were brought into each other's lives and getting to see how things would play out for them. I was so glad that i got to get into their minds. I loved their connection and their chemistry was all kinds of blushworthy goodness!
I related to both characters and they were such a fantastic match. These two stole my heart for sure!

I just loved Piper and Colin’s story. After feeling like a disappointment to her family her whole life she finally meets someone who sees the real her. Loved how they encouraged each other and fought for what they wanted in the end.

Colin and Piper's story might be my favorite one yet. I fell in love with Colin and his support of Piper and pushing her for her dreams. They truly belong together and it can felt coming off the pages. I couldn't stop reading.

This series continues to bring joy. Piper has been struggling to find her place in the family business and in her hometown of Tellerude. All her life she has felt unworthy of anything good. Will is a baseball player hoping to keep his place in the majors. A gust of wind and a meet cute moment set these two on a path of no return. This is a great story showing two young people who have to learn to make sacrifices to figure out how to blend their lives together. It shows how tough choices can lead to sweet rewards and a lasting and true happy ending.

Colin and Piper's story is everything and more! And who doesn't like a twist of an unplanned pregnancy to just make things a bit more interesting.
Their paths cross at just the right time, finding themselves, trying to live up to their own expectations, dreams and goals, but at the same time filling the gaping holes that their loved ones left in their lives.

Lea Coll did an amazing job with Colin and Piper’s friends-to-lovers romance. Their story is definitely a sweet one even though it wasn't easy for them to get together. Both of them trying to find and build their own life and they know the distance between them would make it difficult for them. I loved how Colin is such a strong support system for Piper and he really believe in her even when they first met. It's definitely beautiful to watch them pursue each other despite what separates them.

Impulsive Love offers the full package: humor, sweetness, sexiness, and an flawless emotional build-up that leaves you feeling deeply connected to both characters. Oh, there are mountains and valleys of doubt, old scars, family issues and many miles between them. Piper & Colin’s romance is beautiful and heart tugging. The best part of this book is how rough it is, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s raw, hopeful, heartbreaking and uplifting. It combines all of these emotions and more into one HELL of a story. This is must read from the very talented Lea Coll, as she weaves her magic again through another perfectly romantic tale. She is a go to author for me every time! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Surprise pregnancy books are a favorite of mine, but it's really hard to impress me with them . Lea Coll managed to keep my interest from start to beginning with Impulsive Love, thought I don't know why I'm surprised, since I loved the previous books in the Mountain Haven series.
Piper is a character I've met previously, but I just couldn't understand her. With her friends she was loving, reliable and present, but her family was constantly criticizing her behavior. This book solved her puzzle, and it broke my heart at times. She's a girl with hopes and dreams, ones she had to let go because her family expect her to settle with the little she has , thinking it's the best she can do . She grows to resent them, and while she tries her best to mend her relationship with them, going as far as helping her brother with his business, they still don't give her the support and trust she deserves.
It's while helping Henry with an adventure tour, that he meets Colin. She's not looking for a relationship, not even a hookup, but they are attracted to each other from the beginning.
Colin was just brought up to the big league and he doesn't need a distraction, which he considers a relationship to be at the moment, yet , he can't stop the pull towards Piper .
"Colin had been a friend since the moment we met, easily sliding into the role of confidant, then lover."
So I'm going to be honest here, I've read the blurb and I expect something different, I'm really happy with what I've read, it surpassed my expectations.
This is not a story about two people falling into bed and falling in love because it resulted in a child. It's exactly the opposite, even without the pregnancy they would have ended up together. Colin was a huge confident boost for Piper, he encouraged her to go after her dreams and promised to be there for her. They tried to go with the friend route, thinking it's best for them, but the more time they spent together the harder it was to continue. Colin was the first one to take a leap and ask for more.
"I was done waiting for her to get on the same page. I was claiming it all -the page -the book -the trajectory of our lives. I wouldn't leave it to chance."
Beautifully written, this story really touched me, because, I couldn't not feel every emotion, just as Piper did. She's an example and inspiration, to go after what makes us happy and fulfill us. Colin doesn't want her to give up her dreams, he needs to show her it's so much easier to go through life with a partner that loves and supports you constantly. He too has learned that a relationship doesn’t mean one need to choose what’s more important, family or a career. He thought that being a baseball player meant he can’t be there for a loved one, loving Piper he discovered that as long as there’s a compromise he can have both.
“You deserve to have that one person who loves and supports you unconditionally. Who sees bellow the smoke and mirrors to the woman inside, the one who just wants to be seen for who she is.”

After entering and winning the contest she now has a chance to make that dream come true. But she is away for periods of time and Colin is afraid he could lose her to this. He does not want to crush her dreams but support her and encourages her when she goes on these adventures. How will this effect their life with the traveling both of them now do because of their careers. Will this take her away from him? Baseball has always been the most important thing in Colin’s life. But when he meets Piper, he realizes that is about to change. She is his priority. He has stood up and taken responsibility. He will always support her and protect her. He gives her something that she has never had with her family. Instead of the ridicule she received from them Colin gives her nothing but encouragement and support. What more can a girl ask for. A sweet strangers to lovers, sports romance that is beautifully written and a joy to read. Colin and Piper's story is one that is full of love and hardships. Lea has us wanting to be a friend for Piper and swooning over Colin.
Piper is trying to find her way in life and her family does not really support her or seems to be interested in what she wants to do. She is a hairdresser but it is not what she really wants to do. Piper had no support from her parents to pursue what she loved, photography. She is working with her brother, Henry, at his adventure company. Piper is happy to be helping Henry with a team bonding adventure for a baseball team. When she meets one in particular player, Colin, her mind starts to wonder. He is handsome, sweet and seems to be flirting with her. Colin builds her up and makes her feel that she can do anything and should go for what she wants no matter what her family says. Can she have a weekend romance with a player that will be leaving? Can he really be flirting with her? Is he just looking for a one-night stand? As the weekend goes on they get closer. When they both decide to spend the night together things go perfectly, but do they really? Will one night be enough?

His father has not been the best father and always seems to be making him doubt his abilities. The first thing the team does before the season is a team bonding/building weekend. Over the weekend he spends a lot of time with Piper talking and flirting. He gets protective of Piper and jealous when his teammates start to spend time with her. He decides to take the plunge and asks her to spend the last night with him. His heart is telling him that he wants more but he knows that she needs to find her way and do what she loves. When the weekend is over, will he be able to forget about her or will he want more? When he receives some news, how will he react? Will this news change his life for the better or for the worse?

Absence does make the heart grow fonder and find perspective
Impulsive Love: A Mountain Haven Novel, Book 3 by Lea Coll is the much anticipated story of a sweetheart character, Piper. Piper has intrigued me from her first introduction and I felt like there was so much more to learn about her. Impulsive Love shows a side of Piper that has been hidden away and kept secret until she begins to surround herself with friends who support her dreams. The most impactful is Colin. These two meet by chance, but the romantic in me sees it as fate and the subsequent events that take place from their very first greeting to the very end is significant to both of them, but most impactful for Piper. Colin has also been a source of wonder from another series (Annapolis Harbor) and I am so excited to see what kind of dreamy hero he is. Colin is truly dreamy. While is teeters back and forth on his feelings for Piper, what he wants, what he thinks he can have, whether Piper feels the same. All in all, Colin is more decisive than not, but not without flaws. Clarity being one of them.
The plot is exciting as Piper is finding herself, her wants, needs, desires, dreams, her voice with her family. There's a new perspective at play as well as a sense of wonder as new opportunities are discovered then realizing taking chances on new things is not necessarily a bad thing. And it's not just her career that is exciting, it's the deep connection Colin and Piper have that they refuse to name or give weight to at first. Piper and Colin experience plenty of ups, downs, support in one another, uncertainties, the wonder of discovery, and insecurities. Yet they also persevere. Letting the positives outweigh the negatives in importance with Colin leading the way. He takes a chance to communicate more honestly by laying his heart on the line, expressing what he wants more than anything, and that is Piper from the first moment they met, chasing paper caught in the wind.
Overall, despite the uncertainty of the myriad unknowns in their careers, Piper and Colin's deep connection of friendship set a solid foundation for working together, communicating, supporting each other, following their dreams and most of all love for their unexpected family and absolutely wanted HEA. It's a beautiful dream come true all around.

Impulsive Love by Lea Coll is the third book in the Mountain Haven series and could be read as a standalone. If you have read the previous books you have already meet Piper and if you have read the Annapolis Harbor series you have meet Colin who is a sport player Colin is a professional baseball player doing a team building weekend with his teammates. Piper is working at a barbershop and helping her brother out at his Adventure business. When these two meet they have an instant connection and amazing chemistry! Piper has had problems with her family and always felt adrift looking for her place in the world. Colin is down to earth and he specially wants to secure his place in the team, he encouraged Piper to pursue her dream of photography and promised to be there for her to stand up to her family.

Once again Lea Coll has delivered an out of this world brilliant swoon-worthy must-read, it’s hot, it’s addictive, it will make your heart race.
I now never even need to read the blurb of a Lea Coll book because I am that confident that she will produce a story that will capture my attention and hold it there until the end, and Impulsive Love did just that, it had everything I have now come to expect from this author, it was moving, it was heartfelt, it was hot, and as always a storyline that always holds a touch of realism.
I fell for the charms of our southern hero Colin right away, he has a goal and he has been doing everything to make that come true, to finally get out of the farm team and play major league Baseball, this was his one shot to prove his dad wrong. Going to Mountain Haven Lodge to bond with the team seemed easy enough until he meets Piper the owner's sister's, one-touch and their lives are about to never be the same again, but Piper has a dream to take photographs but her family see her as the girl that flits from one thing to another, never settling down, and just as she starts to think they are right, the rookie baseball player Colin changes all that, by just believing in her, now she has to believe in herself and the possibility of still being able to spread her wings and fly but have a safe pair of hands waiting for her when she comes back.
Lea Coll has produced one of her most motivating stories so far, I loved how Colin is the strong one, the focused one but still having his own doubts but not once does he ever doubt Piper, and more importantly not once did Ms Coll need to rush Piper and her evolution from self-doubt to believing in herself, as what might start as an Impulsive is so much more.

Oh Piper and Colin, I love you!! Colin is the absolute perfect book boyfriend, I do not know how he could get any better.
This is book 3 in the Mountain Haven series and can be read as a standalone.
This book is about Piper, the girl who everyone thinks is impulsive and has no idea what she is doing. Piper is anything but that! She is an amazing young woman that is having to prove herself to everyone. She is an amazing photographer and is ready to give that a chance. (I really don't like her mom and dad, would it kill you to be supportive??) Colin is an up and coming baseball player. He want to prove to his team that he deserves to be there. When the two of them met on an adventure tour, they have an instant connection, but they are both in a place in their life where they can't do a relationship, so they settle for one night. Little did they know that one night would leave a surprise.
I loved this book!!! Colin was just the type of guy Piper needed. He supported her through everything and never let her doubt herself. They were both looking for that confidence and they gave it to each other. And how they were both scared to take the leap, but still wanted to talk and stay in contact was precious.
I love these types of romance books. Where they lift each other up, are exactly the type of person the other needs, they support one other, the chemistry is off the charts and they get to each other as friends before anything else.
