Rate this book
Everyone dreams of meeting their favorite band, however bringing them back from the grave is not always the best option.

The morning after streaming The Festival of Nightmares Maggots and Tommy's life won't be the same. A strange series of nightmares and visions of dead bodies and bat monsters lead the two aspirin musicians to search for a solution for their tortuous problem, even if that means to play a concert for a spirit and die in the process.

The torture never stops, but it can certainly bring back from the grave a little bit of help.

Where to even begin with this. This book has a huge rock and roll heart and it shines thru the pages. It goes pleases I wasn’t expecting. And when it does your heart aches for the two main characters, Tommy and Maggots. Then it branches off to their favorite band Purely Black and your introduced to a motley crew of rock stars with their own personalities. I found myself reading this and envisioning it as a mini series. It feels episodic in places. This is without question a rock Odyssey. An homage to all this 80s early 90’s rock and I loved it. When it ended it was bitter sweet. It was like saying goodbye to a dear friend. I wanted to watch as Tommy and maggots grew up and became rock legends. Maybe Hamo Woods will give the world a sequel?!? That would be amazing.
